Much better than I had hoped, Valerie settled instantly and is always laughing, even when we are not visiting. She says everything is even better than school because she does not have to share a bedroom with 2 other girls
Thank you for your kind words, John. We're delighted Valerie settled in so quickly and is so happy with us. It means a lot to hear she's enjoying her own space and having such a positive experience.
My mother has settled in the home very well and this is due to the helpfull staff and the caring compasion shown. There are various activities provided for them each day of which she enjoys. It's nice for her to have set meals as previously whilst living alone she would miss meals. The home itself is very nice and it's lovely that family can visit and are always welcome. In essence, I would say we're happy.

This has been a wonderful experience of being in a care home. There is nothing I can add - the care is excellent. The staff very kind and helpful, patient and very helpful with any problems that arose. Food is good and well presented. Laundry and cleaning of rooms excellent. Mum has dementia and has gone downhill in the last 2 weeks. The level of care, kindness and support that Mum and our family has received is truly exceptional. Nurses and carers cannot do enough to make Mum comfortable and to support us. They have run various tests to determine what else may be going on and are treating her. We are all so relieved that Mum is here, and are reassured and confident about the incredible care she receives. Thanks, Ridgeway.
Thank you Sally for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience. We are pleased to hear that you and your family feel supported during this difficult time. Your feedback means a great deal to our team. Wishing you and your family all the very best.

The staff have done all they can to ease her settling in and to make her feel relaxed they always have activities on for the residents to get involved the home has a very welcome homely feel. Relatives are encouraged to come in and get involved, the food is always fresh and lots to choose from. They always have a lovely selection of cakes in reception for visitors and residents. Mum is safer and well looked after its reassuring now shes here.

Food is not very hot. Porridge arrived cold and solid. Lack of activities for less able residents, Management does not communicate well Activities can be a bit of a shamble with no structure between activity staff.

My mother has been at Ridgeway Rise for about one year. She had to move in as she needed 24-hour care. Since she arrived at Ridgeway Rise, she quickly settled in and now sees this as her final home. She is very happy, and during my regular visits, I have only witnessed the utmost and highest levels of service and professionalism from all the staff. They really do care about the well-being of all the residents.
We are very grateful for your trust in us and for taking the time to share your experience. Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful words. Bella
My uncles mental health and general wellbeing has improved so much, the family feel after six years of ongoing health issues, he is finally back to his 'old self' in just a couple of months. He is really happy. The staff are so welcoming and caring. He is kept entertained everyday and he loves the food and his room. Best decision we made for him.
