My mother has been a resident at Ridgeway Rise for over a year. As a daughter I am delighted with the care my mother received I have no complaints. All members of staff work very hard to ensure all care needs are met. There is a real family atmosphere throughout the home. My mother is as happy as she can be suffering from dementia. I would recommend Ridgeway Rise to anyone seeking a care home in the area.
It's wonderful to know that our team's dedication and the family atmosphere in the home have made a positive difference. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we truly appreciate your kind words. Bella
Food and care good. Enjoy the history talks. Clean home.Good coffee and cakes. Recommend it all.
Thank you for your lovely review and for recommending the home. It is a privilege having you at Ridgeway Rise. Bella
Mum went into Ridgeway Rise for 3 weeks respite care. From day 1 the care was absolutely fantastic. Mum has had respite care at another home previously and the level of care at Ridgway Rise was just phenomenal. Mum has already said she would like the return later in the year for another stay. She was looked after and I felt confident they they really cared about giving her the best care and stay possible. I would not hesitate to recommend them. The carers and nursing team were just lovely.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear your mum had such a positive experience at Ridgeway Rise. Regards.
I am very happy with the care for my mother. They are caring and keep my mum happy and doing lots of activities. It's more than a care home, it makes my mum feel like its her actual family home, great effort from all the team. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're truly delighted to hear that your mum feels at home with us-that's exactly what we strive for. Bella Balaci
Our visit to see a member of our family was made very easy by the welcome staff gave gave us. Also the visit was carried out in the residents favourite area which put everybody at ease. The care provided by the home for the residents birthday was excellent and several staff joined in singing "happy birthday". This home is very nice, welcoming facility which provides special and appropriate care for the resident.
Thank you very much for your feedback. Happy to hear you had a good experience.
Overall excellent.
Thank you so much for choosing Ridgeway Rise. We're truly honoured to having you. Bella Balaci
My father was admitted directly from hospital. The case and support to help him with his rehabilitation have been excellent. The entire staff at Ridgeway Rise have been superb and work tirelessly to provide a secure, safe and caring environment.
Thank you so much for your kind feedback. It's wonderful to see your father has been enjoying time in the garden and the cinema - seeing him out and about is a real joy for the team. Bella Balaci
Love the way the staff are encouraged with incentives such as employee of the month and ongoing training. Also love the amount of times there is fancy dress, getting into character for different talks, occasions and events!
Very happy!
Thank you very much for your kind words. It's a pleasure to look after your mum and see you joining our special events and the Knitting Club.
My wife and I came to Ridgeway Rise to visit a precious friend in the palliative care unit. We traveled from the US to see our dear friend for the last time. Every single staff member was exceptionally committed, practicing servant ministry in their duties. Our friend was treated with dignity and compassion and not patronized as is the case in some facilities. My wife and I were treated as if we were family members. Our needs were anticipated and every kindness extended. The facility is spotless and little touches make it very inviting. From the first moment we entered the reception area until the day we left, we were made to feel welcome. Most of all, it was obvious that our friend, who was there less than two weeks, was received and treated with compassion in the last days of her life. I would - without exception- recommend Ridgeway Rise.
Thank you for your heartfelt feedback. We are truly honoured to have been able to support both your friend - our dearest colleague, and yourselves during such an important time. Your kind words mean so much to our team, and we are grateful that we could provide comfort and care when it mattered most. Regards.
Since mum moved to Ridgeway Rise Care Home in the summer of 2024, we couldn't have been happier with the care and attention mum has received. The continuity of care has helped her settle quickly, and she has felt completely at home and safe, having been welcomed by all the staff and other residents. Mum has enjoyed all the activities, trips and food. She also enjoys all the walks, and there's always something to do to keep mum occupied. She loves to have a coffee and cake with her friends too.
It's wonderful to hear how happy your mum has been at Ridgeway Rise Care Home! Knowing that your mum is thriving and making the most of everything we offer, including social time with friends over coffee and cake, is a testament to the value and quality of care we provide. Thank you for sharing your experience!
On behalf of my family, I thank you all for taking such great care of my sister. The endless kindness that my sister has received from you is so much appreciated by us all. You have all made my sister smile and in a way, content, so this way she feels at peace in her lasting days on earth. A sincere thanks to you all.

The care home is always a delight to visit, I always receive a warm welcome by reception, and all carers/staff are equally friendly. Instantly on arrival, I'm always offered tea and biscuits which is always served with a smile and a chat.
The care the residents receive is fantastic, the rooms are beautifully clean and extremely homely, it's just like you'd want it to be and not how I imagined a care home to be.
The rapport the staff have with the residents is lovely, they really do genuinely care and you can see the residents is at the forefront of what they do.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Ridgeway Rise.

Mum moved in with us in October so we were looking for respite care at the end of December. I was very worried due to her anxiety and OCD that comes with dementia. She had a great time and was smiling lots and thanking the ladies as we left. Thank you so, so much. She even ate different foods which was amazing. See you next time.

My mum spent 20 months in Ridgeway Rise. The care that she received was exceptional. The staff have been compassionate and very caring. The continuity of staff is very good and it was encouraging to see that they obviously enjoy working together as a team. When Mum talked about her care she always said how well she was looked after. We had confidence in the nursing staff who were thorough in all they did. The home is beautifully clean - the food is excellent. Congratulations to Ridgeway Rise on their very high standards of care. Full marks all round.
