My friend has been taken care of so extremely well despite v v challenging situations. He now treats BC as home and relates to and trusts all staff on his unit.
He has attended many institutions over the years and the care here has and continues to remain on a v high level.

My brother was admitted to Blackmoor Care Home in recent months.
To date and as someone with previous significant senior experience in the Nursing and Residential Home Sector myself, I can honestly say that so far his care needs are being met with professionalism, sensitivity and understanding .
He is currently placed out of area due to locality availability. Recently he requested to visit a certain venue in his home city.
Yesterday Blackmoor Management, Senior Management and Care Staff facilitated his wish by organising and accompanying him ' home' so that he could spend some time in familiar and welcoming surroundings with people who are known to him for many years.
Thank you , I do appreciate this gesture and do fully understand the planning, staffing and effort this requires in order to deliver a truly person centred experience.

We have been very impressed with the level of care given to our son.
The whole staff, from Management to the care staff on the Unit, are very professional and caring.

Was a resident from Oct 2023 to June 2024. Initially things were good but then I had the worst experience of my life like a horror movie and didnt feel safe. Staff especially management were unprofessional and uncaring and I found out I was being recorded in my room. They got me sectioned which was...
Was a resident from Oct 2023 to June 2024. Initially things were good but then I had the worst experience of my life like a horror movie and didnt feel safe. Staff especially management were unprofessional and uncaring and I found out I was being recorded in my room. They got me sectioned which was the lesser of two evils but they took me to hospital under false pretences and didn't help me to get help for my severe head trauma which I believe is terminal and I have severe PTSD as a result of my experience there.

My sister has been a resident since the opening of Blackmore. She is looked after well and is safe. While the care home has been establishing its procedures, communication has been good and concerns are always discussed professionally.

My brother came here after a stroke and is still with them. The home is wonderful. Staff are so good with him. He came here confused and they have given him back his dignity.

We, as a family, can't fault the care here. The staff are so good. The home is a clean, bright and a pleasant place. Food is very good and everywhere is clean.

After spending a very lengthy time in hospital, my husband was discharged to Blackmoor Nursing Home. Naturally, we were all very stressed and filled with trepidation, but to our joy, upon arrival, he was met with such compassionate, caring staff members who went out of their way to make us all feel welcome and have been most reassuring and my husband's rather complex needs have all been met so professionally.

An excellent brand new facility, attentive and caring staff, comprehensive activities and support for residents. My father benefitted from the care and attention received, his health improved as a result of the care received. Excellent physio and other beneficial caring readily available.
