It was difficult as a family to accept that mum needed 24/7 care, but we knew we had to find the best place for her where she would be safe, happy, cared for. From the moment we walked into Roselea, with no appointment, we were welcomed and immediately given a tour of the home, all our questions were
answered. It just 'felt right'. Mum has settled very well and enjoys the varied activities, entertainment, outside trips. Staff have taken time to get to know her, and involve her in tasks within the home when she decides she wants to help! Excellent communications with family, at visits, phone, email. All staff combine to provide a happy, nurturing and safe environment. Roselea and the amazing staff have shown us the difference the right care home makes to outlook on life and enjoyment of it. Our expectations have been surpassed and we are delighted how mum has settled and her enthusiasm and enjoyment of all that Roselea has to offer. The home baking is excellent too!

My gran is in the care home the staff are very freindly and approachable and take care of my gran well.its an exceptionally well run care home and a nice place to visit and spend time with my gran in a good environment.

Almost a year to the day since my mum moved into Roselea Court Care home and I can honestly say that mum is safe, settled and cared for by an amazing team . My mum suffers from advanced dementia and requires a lot of one:one care, the staff at Roselea have the patience of saints, are caring, compassionate
and go that extra mile to ensure that mum has the care and support that she needs whilst keeping mentally active and mobile. The staff are clearly well trained and experienced in the many forms that dementia manifests itself amongst the homes residents and all are treated with dignity and respect, each in their own tailored way. I cannot recommend this home enough.

My mother stayed at Roselea Court recently for respite care for 10 days. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly by the manager and staff, who went above and beyond to make my mother feel safe, secure, and cared for throughout her time there.
I was worried as my mother had never been in
care before but she settled very quickly and had nothing but praise for everyone who took the time to always make sure she had everything she needed during her stay.
The home is very clean, with lovely rooms and the food is excellent. There is a programme of activities, varied and interesting should you wish to take part, my mother preferred to stay mostly in her room, but the friendly staff popped in all the time to check she was fine, and were very respectful of her wishes.
The nursing staff took care of all her medical needs with plenty of feedback and reassurance when I needed it.
Wouldn't hesitate to return, and am very grateful for the kindness and compassion shown to my mother during her stay.

Placing my dad in a care home was the most difficult, emotional decision I've ever had to make. However, due to personal care and mobility circumstances, it was a decision which had to be made. Roselea is very welcoming, with a bright reception area providing entertainment space, opening out to a lovely
area outside overlooking tennis courts. I was impressed with the modern dining room which residents can book for visitors. We had a lovely afternoon tea there with my aunt who travelled down from the north. Everyone from the manager, carers, cleaners, nurses and entertainment staff have all given my dad exceptional care, night and day. Strongly recommend Roselea.

Roselea is an excellent care home. My mother has been here for 5 months now. She has settled well and this is because of the excellent care given by all the staff. She is kept busy with activities. She has her hair and nails done weekly which she loves. I am so happy with every aspect of the home. I
cannot praise it highly enough.

The care is excellent however it is the way in which the care is delivered that makes the difference. There is a real family feel to the interactions. One of the nicest and most humanising interactions takes place at meal times when staff sit and eat with the residents. Assistance is given whilst dining
together which changes the whole cared-for/carer dynamic in a very positive way. Staff are warm and consistently friendly. They look happy in their workplace and that filters through to the care they deliver.

From first visit to moving in day, staff have been excellent and nothing is too much trouble. My friend has gone from being institutionalised in hospital to regaining her spark in a very short space of time, which is a massive comfort. Staff have welcomed her and her family with care and compassion
and brought fun and life back.

I am delighted with the care and support my father receives at Roselea Court. The staff are very warm, caring and friendly and that includes everyone from nursing, carers, housekeeping, kitchen, reception and maintenance. It's also a beautiful environment and always clean and well-maintained. The activities
program is varied and highly suitable. I'm aware that my father's preferences and wishes are always sought and responded to positively and thoughtfully.

Wonderful care home that seems like a home from home. Mum is so happy and the staff are just so friendly and caring, any requests that are made are fulfilled without hesitation. Lots of varied activities make her time pass which helps when we are unable to visit. Food, especially the cakes, are delicious
and all freshly made. Thanks to every single employee for allowing us not to worry about Mum.

Mum is so happy here. We feel we have our lives back but Mum has the very best of care. All her children visit very regularly so we have gotten to know the staff really well. They are really exceptional and whilst Mum doesn’t remember 5 minutes ago, she has flourished under their gentle, fun and tender

The family are very satisfied with the excellent level of care our mother receives in personal and mental well-being by all members of staff. All members of staff are caring, understanding and empathetic to an extremely high standard in meeting Mum's care needs. The home is a lovely, bright, friendly
and homely environment. There is an excellent and varied range of activities to engage and stimulate Mum and there is local community involvement as well. Communication with us (family) and Mum is excellent. Staff keep us informed of any changes.

Cannot praise the management and staff of Roselea Court enough. My mum has recently passed away following a year in their wonderful care; it's hard finding the right words to express my gratitude. Such a tough job these special people do with a wonderful joy, spirit and obvious love of caring. The highest
compliment is that by the end it felt like home, they felt like family and I was always at total peace when not with Mum, even in her difficult final days. She was in the best possible place with people who genuinely cared and treated her with dignity, respect and the best of care as they would their own. Doing such a difficult job, things can never be perfect, but there is no doubting the effort and commitment. A lovely modern, bright, cheery place that you immediately warm to. The management and leadership are superb, clearly reflected in the staff, activities and approach. First experience of a care home and now appreciate how lucky we were to choose Roselea Court.

All the staff at Roselea Court are fantastic - nursing staff, carers, management, activity team, laundry team and kitchen staff. Everyone is very pleasant and helps to look after my mother very well. She is very happy at the home. The nurses and carers look after her very well, and she tells me the
meals are delicious too.

Helen has extensive knowledge and a wealth of experience in Elderly Care, Dementia Care and Palliative Care. and brings to the role an immense amount of passion in ensuring that the very best care and support are offered to all of the residents enabling them to have a voice, choice and control of how they live and enjoy their time at Roselea Court Care Home.

Nancy joins as our Head Housekeeper and has 40years experience within hygiene and Infection Prevention and control, notably in living settings.
