I moved on to the Care Sector in 2014, and soon after the Company achieved an ‘Outstanding CQC Report’ and carried ‘Outstanding’ throughout my working period there. Since joining the home I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the residents and their families always trying to resolve and support with anything that may arise. No two days are the same at Chestnut Gardens making it an interesting and fun place to work.
My career in hospitality and catering started in 1995. I started working as a chef in the care sector for Maria Mallaband where I worked my way up to head Chef. I chose to join Barchester as their standards and expectations are so high.
