All of the staff at Dearbourne Manor are friendly, caring and approachable, which creates a warm and welcoming environment for residents and visitors. They treat everyone with dignity and respect, providing excellent quality care. The home is extremely clean and well-maintained, with comfortable communal
areas where residents can socialise. The planned activities are engaging, well-planned and varied, involving visits from animals for residents to engage with. Communication with families is good, staff and management are always willing to provide updates or dismiss any concerns. I would strongly recommend Dearbourne Manor as a safe, supportive and caring place for loved ones.

My Mother was transferred to Dearbourne Manor to be close to us following a severe stroke from which she spent 5 weeks in hospital. The care and support that was shown in her final days was absolutely outstanding, the facility was spotlessly clean at all times and the staff were truly wonderful. In
what was a very difficult time they were there to support us as a family. The staff worked as a team throughout and the standards of nursing care was exceptional. Thank you so much, it will never be forgotten
Reply from Stavros Ladopoulos, Home Manager at Dearbourne ManorFrom the bottom of our hearts i would like to say a massive thank you for your wonderful review and your kind words. My mum has been at Dearbourne since January 2026. She has settled in very well.

The staff have been absolutely wonderful. Carers, nurses, cleaners, receptionists, maintenance staff, hairdresser, clinical lead and manager are all excellent. As well as being competent, they have all been so caring

and have supported mum so well. We are very grateful to all of them!

Food is great. There are generally a couple of menu choices for each meal, as well as the possibility of ordering from a set menu, if neither option appeals.

The building is very new, well maintained, and kept very clean. The lounges on each floor are lovely. Bedrooms are large and well furnished - the only problem is that mum's room can get hot, so we are looking at ways to manage that. There's a large smart tv. Plenty of free parking. Nice gardens. And a cinema room!

Mum hasn't joined any activities, as she gets a lot of visitors. But from what I've seen, there's plenty going on.

Overall, Dearbourne is a great home!

Most importantly, despite things to be mentioned, Dearbourne Manor has been exceptionally good for my mother; she would not want to leave or be anywhere else. As I am not resident here, my views are based entirely on visits and feedback from Violetta. Basically only one negative I constantly receive
is about the food. Not really about the quantity or quality but rather the lack of nice vegetables and sauce and the repetition of some types (e.g. coleslaw with everything). Some disappointed with external days out (great visits but lack of). However she adores the manager and all of the staff. Has no issues.
Reply from Stavros Ladopoulos, Home Manager at Dearbourne ManorThank you very much for your feedback and review provided. We are very happy to know that your Mother is happy at Dearbourne Manor and she would not want to be anywhere else. We have been working exceptionally hard to accommodate all the requests we have been receiving and we will keep trying our best to improve in the areas mentioned above. I will pass all the feedback you have provided us to the staff who will be extremely happy to know that your Mother overall is happy at Dearbourne Manor. Many thanks once again.

I am very impressed with the standard of care that my parents have received at Dearbourne Manor and the attention given to their overall wellbeing as individuals, as well as their basic care and nursing needs. The care team are always friendly, helpful and responsive to suggestions and have been very
supportive at difficult times. The carers have developed real bonds with my parents and my father has really appreciated occasional organised outings to places special to him or that bring back happy memories. There is also a lovely garden which he enjoys spending time in.

I have nothing but praise for all the staff at Dearbourne Manor. They gave my mother loving care throughout her stay. They proactively addressed her changing needs and also supported me too. They listened and acted upon my ideas and requests to add to her quality of life. They kept me informed with
updates. The only area of improvement is to the initial communications/introduction pack to include the list of staff roles and contacts.

Mum had a very comfortable stay for the last few months of her life at Dearbourne Manor. She received excellent care from all the staff at all times. All her needs were met with tender loving care. Although, mum did not participate in any of the activities, the care home provides varied activities daily
that is suitable for all residents. Each time we visited mum, we were greeted cheerfully by all the staff on duty and we can't thank them enough for their professionalism and kindness on mum's passing.

Mum moved to Dearbourne Manor in February 2024 following a long hospital stay after a massive stroke. From the day mum moved in she was treated with loving care from both medical and care teams. Her face would light up and smile when she saw them come into her room The management staff and reception
team cared about us as a family as well. Mum's last 8 months of her life were genuinely the best they could have been under the circumstances and we could not thank Dearbourne enough for that. Truly a first-class facility.

Dearbourne Manor took so much care of my beautiful mum in the last months of her life. It's a wonderful care home. The staff were all kind, loving and extremely attentive. Sadly mum had dementia and sometimes she could be quite 'hard work' for the carers but each and every one of them was simply kind
and caring towards her. I highly recommend Dearbourne Manor as a wonderful care facility. Simply amazing!

I've worked in many care homes as a mobile hairdresser so when we started looking for Mum to go into one I was delighted to find Dearbourne Manor. Its staff are friendly and helpful. The home is really clean and never smelly, which has been a problem when I've gone into other homes. My one concern is
the food, I can only speak on behalf of Mum but she really doesn't enjoy it. When I've been there and the food arrives she's not happy, it's not hot enough and there seems lots of spicy food which is definitely not for Mum. On a positive, she loves the homemade soups.
