My mum has been a resident at Waltham House for two and a half years. She has dementia and poor mobility. Mum's behaviour can be challenging, but she is looked after by kind and patient carers, and I know she is safe.
It was a difficult decision to place mum in full time care, but I'm glad I chose
Waltham House.

My wife has been a resident at Orchid Villa for 15 months. Placing your LO in a home is the hardest decision you can make but I have not regretted choosing Orchid. The home has long, wide bright corridors which is important as my wife (61) is physically fit and needs to exercise. The staff are very
attentive and caring, every one of them. The food is varied and good proportions. And when I leave after a visit I'm comforted in knowing that she is being looked after so I don't need to worry. I totally recommend this home

My aunt has been a resident of Gracefields for 12 years. She was transferred from hospital with numerous health problems. Within weeks she was back on her feet and enjoying her life at the home. Staff have always looked after my aunt with caring attitudes. I have always felt she was well looked after
in a safe environment. My aunt had full mental capacity so she would have said if anything was not up to her standard and I felt very assured when she moved there. During her 12 years there she was always been well looked after, clean and her room kept very well. Staff are always friendly and professional. It was only through the care she received that she lived for 12 years.

My sister-in-law had been cared for by Arbour Walk since June 2021 until her death on the 7th November 2025. She had dementia and I cannot praise this home enough for the way that they looked after her. She was treated with respect, dignity and as a person, not someone who had lost their faculties.
Every single member of staff always greeted you with smiles. Nothing was too much trouble and someone was always on hand to answer questions.

We will actually miss visiting because there was always a lovely welcome. An extremely well run home with wonderful staff.

I am very impressed with the standard of care that my parents have received at Dearbourne Manor and the attention given to their overall wellbeing as individuals, as well as their basic care and nursing needs. The care team are always friendly, helpful and responsive to suggestions and have been very
supportive at difficult times. The carers have developed real bonds with my parents and my father has really appreciated occasional organised outings to places special to him or that bring back happy memories. There is also a lovely garden which he enjoys spending time in.

"We were lucky enough get Mum into Gracefields Carehome in Downend after moving her twice. We can't praise Mum's care & attention enough during her 3 years there. The garden space mustn't be underestimated. The care given at Gracefields wasn't just for the lady we knew and loved, but for the lady they
met with dementia. The care was professional and towards the end it became more gentle & considered, giving Mum the dignity she deserved. As a family, the support from the whole team was very much appreciated
and this made a very sad situation more bearable with their kindness, calm and professionalism".

I would like to echo everything in my brother's review. Our mum was in Rose Villa for nine months and we had full confidence in how she was being looked after from the very start. We thought the level of care couldn't be improved, and yet somehow, in mum's final days, it seemed to go up a gear. The
staff went out of their way to ensure not only mum's comfort but ours too. We spent many hours at Rose Villa during mum's last few days and the staff were always there, keeping a discreet but watchful eye on mum and us, and they were there to support in any way we needed. We also met the night staff for the first time and were greeted with exactly the same friendliness and empathy that we were accustomed to.
The staff at Rose Villa do not just care, they love, and this shines through. We have been back a couple of times since mum passed away and it genuinely felt like visiting family; and that just sums up Rose Villa.
Reply from Rachel Stretch, Villa Manager at Rose Villa (Grosvenor Villas)Thank You very much for your lovely comments. The staff do genuinely care for each individual living on Rose Villa.

Mum only moved into Oakhill Mansions at the beginning of October so it is a bit early to be able to give a detailed review. So far, the staff have been helpful and caring as Mum adapts to her new surroundings and settles in. Oahill is immaculately clean!

What a wonderful Care Home, my Mum has been there for 5 weeks now and has settled in really well. All the staff from management down to the cleaning employees have been so polite and caring to Mum and the other residents. We were very lucky to get Mum a room there and it's given us peace of mind knowing
she is safe and well looked after.

St Teresa's Nursing Home

My late partner spent the final sixteen months of her life being cared for in St Teresa's.
I could not have asked for a better place for her to have been at the end of her days.
St Teresa's is superb in every way: the grounds, the buildings, all the services provided; but most of all, I have to praise
the staff; all of them, whatever their job title. I have never before seen such diligent, loving and caring people. In these most sad circumstances, it was a great comfort to me to know that my partner was cared for in such a wonderful place.
Reply from Mihaela Mihailov, St Teresa's Home Manager at St Teresa's Nursing HomeThank you very much for taking the time to share your experience with us, we are truly grateful for your support and feedback. Our team works very hard to provide compassionate, person centered care and it means a lot to us to know that we are making a difference. Saville Manor Nursing Home

My dear friend been very happy at Saville Manor since moving in 4 months ago. She is in her nineties, has memory problems and needs a wheelchair and help with personal care and with eating. The kindness and involvement and commitment of the staff has been clear. She has been encouraged to join with
many activities - high points were an art exhibition and the summer fair. The atmosphere is lovely, carers are always around engaging with residents, there is always something going on.
The system for communication with next of kin has been efficient and reassuring and professional - with excellent response to emails and information being sent to me immediately by email - but also friendly and personal when I visit.
Her medical needs have been very well met; the nursing staff are lovely and very good and work well with GP and hospital consultants.
The building itself, especially the lounge and dining room where my friend spends most of her time, is really beautiful with views of the Downs.
Reply from Femi Joseph, Home Manager at Saville Manor Nursing HomeThank you for your exceptional review. We are delighted to learn that your friend is content at Saville Manor. Your commendations regarding the kindness and dedication of our staff are sincerely appreciated. We pride ourselves on efficient and amicable communication with next of kin. I will ensure that your kind remarks are conveyed to our Saville team.

My mother was admitted to Arbour Walk at the end of August 2025. She was transferred for end of life care. Mum had Alzheimer's. The staff at Arbour Walk were kind, caring and compassionate. They took excellent care of mum and nothing was too much trouble. I had struggled to care for mum at home. My
last days with her are now with memories of mum being clean, cared for 24 hrs all her needs being met. The staff also welcomed us when we visited they were friendly and kind. I cannot praise this home enough. As a retired nurse I found the care excellent, above and beyond.
Reply from Eugen Pitrop, Arbour Walk Home Manager at Arbour WalkThank you very much for your lovely review. It is extremely rewarding to know that our residents, family and friends are happy with the home, the care and the services we offer.
