I would highly recommend Culverhayes for its excellent care, its cleanliness and attention to detail.

Staff are very friendly and approachable. They show obvious care and attention to residents and visitors. Very clean and tidy facilities and if something is required it is attended to. Having been to other care homes to assess or have a relative in respite, this is definitely one of the best.

We found it very difficult when we realised our mum had to go into a nursing home but it didn't take long before my mum settled down and was very attentive . All the staff at the orangery were very friendly , nothing was too much trouble . The orangery is spotlessly clean , very modern and bright , we knew that would be important to mum . I want to thank all the staff for looking after my my mum , especially towards the end of her life , they made sure my mum was very comfortable and gave amazing support to all the family ,a massive thank you to you all

Amazing caring staff towards family/residents.

We are so grateful for the care + attention my mother received during her time in Rose Villa. She always remarked how lovely everyone was and we cannot find fault with anything. While she had no appetite she enjoyed the meals and towards the end she looked forward to her ice cream in the afternoon.

From the minute we walked into Winfield Lodge we knew that this was the place for Mum to live. We were greeted by Dawn when we arrived and were quickly put at ease by her calm and friendly manner. We were offered a cup of tea as we spoke about Mum's care needs before being given a guided tour and shown a room that was available. Once the decision was made the process was smooth and once Mum's room had been redecorated, she was able to move in. Mum has been there for 5 months now and her progress has been amazing. We, as a family, are hugely grateful to all the lovely, friendly, caring staff who have helped her so well

My concerns are mainly two. My brother has lost weight during this time and the lack of ethnic meals is a contributing factor. The second concern is inadequate clothes storage. I would like the huge desk in his room be replaced with another chest of drawers for clothes.

My elderly mother (107) was in the home for about 3 years, and in all that time was cared for in an excellent manner. All the staff were caring, kind, and helpful to us whenever required. In my mum's words "they are all lovely here, and look after me well". Many thanks to all at Rose Villa for looking after Mum so well.

My dad has been at Bluebell since February 2026 and has received a very high quality of care. The bedrooms and communal areas are well-presented and well-maintained, but what truly sets this facility apart from others is the staff. They interact wonderfully with the residents and are always attentive, supportive, and compassionate toward relatives.

My partner has been at The Orangery Nursing Home for 5 years. I visit every day. I have got to know the home and the staff very well. In the last years the home has had extensive refurbishment done including air conditioning. There has been a change of manager and administrator, this has made a real difference to the smooth running of the home. I cannot fault the staff from the managers down to the cleaners. The quality of the effort and commitment that the carers and nurses give with loving care is excellent. No two residents' needs are the same and the staff are professional at dealing and coping with residents that have individual needs which at times can be very challenging. The home is spotlessly clean The chef cooks very good meals with a choice to fit residents' needs. All the staff are friendly and approachable, the manager Toby is always available if I have any concerns, he is easy to talk to, he will listen and work at resolving the problem. I am unable to have my partner at home but I am happy with him at The Orangery. He is well looked after, safe and content there, he would if he was able to join me in saying how grateful we are in having such dedicated people looking after him.

I have just spent a month at Arlington Grove (AG) for respite care following major surgery, I cannot praise AG highly enough.

From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel welcome, safe and genuinely cared for. Coming straight from hospital after surgery I was slightly anxious but the AG team soon put me at ease. They were attentive, kind, professional, and nothing was too much trouble - day or night.

The care itself, particularly during the early days of my recovery was exceptional and well managed, with my medication always delivered on time.. The home is modern, immaculately clean, comfortable and has a warm calm atmosphere, including beautiful landscaped grounds.

The food was excellent, a lovely room and I always looked forward to friendly chats with the staff - which all made a difference to my recovery.

I left Arlington Grove feeling stronger, well rested and truly grateful. I would not hesitate in recommending AG to anyone looking for respite or longer term care.

My Aunty moved to Saville Manor in July 2025 following the closure of the carehome she had been living in for the previous few years. So it was a very emotional and a challenge for her to have to readjust moving into a new place. However, all the staff at Saville Manor were very helpful + so friendly. They made the transition as smooth as possible + everyone was so welcoming. The care + attention she receives has + is first class. All the staff are so caring + nothing is too much trouble. The admin Team are efficient + always helpful. The chef's/ catering team do a great job producing tasty meals + snacks with a good choice + variety is always given. The cleaners do a great job too + Saville Manor is always clean + tidy. My Aunty is 98 years old now + it is such a relief that she is in such a good, caring + friendly environment. The whole of the Staff show respect too + are fantastic!

Very clean + staff all very professional, kind + friendly.

Mom has been a resident at Arlington since Dec. 2025. She has been fabulously looked after and is very settled. We are always made to feel very welcomed and the staff always keep me fully informed. The home and grounds are amazing and we enjoy taking mum for a wheel around them My dad was a resident briefly before he passed away and I shall be forever grateful for the way the staff treated him and us at his passing.

We were very happy to see my sister settled in well at Saville Manor Nursing Home. She seemed a lot better than our previous visit. The staff cheer her up and care for her very well. I believe they have her best interests at heart. It's very reassuring for us as we live out of the area and cannot visit often.

My mum was admitted to Dearbourne Manor care home in June 26 and in that period I have say how organised, extremely clean, colourful and a pleasure to visit it is. But a home is only as good as the people that work there and over the months I have got to know many of the staff who are all amazing from the Care home manager, the clinical staff, the carers, the kitchen team, receptionists, and cleaners etc. Without their professional ability and caring personalities the home would not work, its a pleasure to engage with them as and when I need to. They are extremely good at their individual roles and are always honest and trueful with their views, if they need to talk to me they will make a point of explaining anything in detail and nothing is too much trouble, in a nutshell they are an amazing group of people. Credit to their employers who choose and interview the staff they have got it right. I cannot express our gratitude enough to the staff, thank you so much.

I saw many care homes but many are not fully accessible for a powered wheelchair like my Mum's. Arlington is exceptional in this regard with wide corridors and doors, wet rooms for every resident and the most stunning gardens that are totally wheelchair-friendly. Management and carers alike are professional yet approachable and always close at hand. My Mum loves the food and feels safe and well cared for.
