I have just spent a month at Arlington Grove (AG) for respite care following major surgery, I cannot praise AG highly enough.
From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel welcome, safe and genuinely cared for. Coming straight from hospital after surgery I was slightly anxious but the AG team soon put me at ease. They were attentive, kind, professional, and nothing was too much trouble - day or night.
The care itself, particularly during the early days of my recovery was exceptional and well managed, with my medication always delivered on time.. The home is modern, immaculately clean, comfortable and has a warm calm atmosphere, including beautiful landscaped grounds.
The food was excellent, a lovely room and I always looked forward to friendly chats with the staff - which all made a difference to my recovery.
I left Arlington Grove feeling stronger, well rested and truly grateful. I would not hesitate in recommending AG to anyone looking for respite or longer term care.

I saw many care homes but many are not fully accessible for a powered wheelchair like my Mum's. Arlington is exceptional in this regard with wide corridors and doors, wet rooms for every resident and the most stunning gardens that are totally wheelchair-friendly. Management and carers alike are professional yet approachable and always close at hand. My Mum loves the food and feels safe and well cared for. An added bonus is individually controlled air conditioning and heating

AG is a beautiful place for my husband to live. It's calm and peaceful, with caring and attentive staff. His bedroom is spacious and supremely comfortable with a large en suite and the rooms and communal areas all served with very effective air con especially needed this summer and ongoing.

Arlington Grove is a beautiful care home. The staff are all focussed on making the residents have a stress free experience. The gardens are wonderful and such a bonus to be able to enjoy them. I would be happy to leave any family members in their care.

I enjoyed two weeks' excellent respite care after a CAR T cell transplant at Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre. The fine facilities and kind, caring staff provided an ideal environment in which to recover from 3 intense weeks in hospital of chemotherapy and post transplant issues. The food was excellent and every day I much enjoyed walking around the garden paths for exercise. The staff took good care of my medication, observation and other needs. It felt more like being in a brand new boutique hotel than a care home.

Arlington Grove is a superb care home. It feels far more like a hotel than a care home and the facilities (and food!) are excellent. We've used the Family Room for Mum's birthday which had been beautifully decorated by the staff and other highlights include the lounges, bar, hairdressing salon, cinema and beautiful gardens. Pets are welcome and we usually take along our dog who also loves the gardens.
The staff are exceptional, always highly professional, friendly and caring. There are lots of activities arranged and the staff work really hard to care for Mum and the other residents. The support from the staff (both during the settling in period and ongoing) has been brilliant.
It's been a 'challenging' few months making the move to a care home but we firmly believe we couldn't have found a better place than Arlington Grove.
