I have just spent a month at Arlington Grove (AG) for respite care following major surgery, I cannot praise AG highly enough.

From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel welcome, safe and genuinely cared for. Coming straight from hospital after surgery I was slightly anxious but the AG team soon put me at ease. They were attentive, kind, professional, and nothing was too much trouble - day or night.

The care itself, particularly during the early days of my recovery was exceptional and well managed, with my medication always delivered on time.. The home is modern, immaculately clean, comfortable and has a warm calm atmosphere, including beautiful landscaped grounds.

The food was excellent, a lovely room and I always looked forward to friendly chats with the staff - which all made a difference to my recovery.

I left Arlington Grove feeling stronger, well rested and truly grateful. I would not hesitate in recommending AG to anyone looking for respite or longer term care.

Mom has been a resident at Arlington since Dec. 2025. She has been fabulously looked after and is very settled. We are always made to feel very welcomed and the staff always keep me fully informed. The home and grounds are amazing and we enjoy taking mum for a wheel around them My dad was a resident briefly before he passed away and I shall be forever grateful for the way the staff treated him and us at his passing.

I saw many care homes but many are not fully accessible for a powered wheelchair like my Mum's. Arlington is exceptional in this regard with wide corridors and doors, wet rooms for every resident and the most stunning gardens that are totally wheelchair-friendly. Management and carers alike are professional yet approachable and always close at hand. My Mum loves the food and feels safe and well cared for. An added bonus is individually controlled air conditioning and heating

AG is a beautiful place for my husband to live. It's calm and peaceful, with caring and attentive staff. His bedroom is spacious and supremely comfortable with a large en suite and the rooms and communal areas all served with very effective air con especially needed this summer and ongoing.

I would recommend anyone whose in the same position to visit Arlington Grove , I think that you will struggle to find anything better.

My dad has been in Gracefields now for 15 months now and he is very settled their. The staff are so caring not only to my dad but to us his family. Dad does like a routine and the care that he gets with everyone. So thank you to you all of you with the great care you give. If you asked me 20 years agoif I would of put my mum or dad in a care home I would of said no. But as Gracefields is amazing

My sister and I were warmly welcomed at Gracefields and very quickly decided it would be the best place for our mother. She moved in within a few days and has been very well cared for during her time there. She is warm and safe.

The only negative is the furniture in his room needs fixing, door handles are broken on the wardrobe.

Dad lived at Gracefields for 6 years, reflecting the excellent standard of care delivered by a strong team of committed staff. During this time, whenever we had concerns we have been listened to and action taken to meet Dad's needs. Whilst the building and location is great, it is the staff that has made Gracefields home for Dad. Cheerful and friendly, everyone makes time to connect. Dad enjoyed strong relationships with the staff and they took time to engage with Dad's interests during one to one. When Dad passed away, all the staff were amazing, and couldn't have done more to preserve his health, comfort and dignity. Thank you Gracefields.

Arlington Grove is a beautiful care home. The staff are all focussed on making the residents have a stress free experience. The gardens are wonderful and such a bonus to be able to enjoy them. I would be happy to leave any family members in their care.

I enjoyed two weeks' excellent respite care after a CAR T cell transplant at Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre. The fine facilities and kind, caring staff provided an ideal environment in which to recover from 3 intense weeks in hospital of chemotherapy and post transplant issues. The food was excellent and every day I much enjoyed walking around the garden paths for exercise. The staff took good care of my medication, observation and other needs. It felt more like being in a brand new boutique hotel than a care home.

My grandmother was initially hesitant to move into a care facility, but she is now very comfortable in her new home. The staff and room is fantastic. She has found socialising with other residents to be an adjustment but she is now engaging with more activities. My grandmother is very happy and comfortable at Gracefields.

This review covers my husband's admittance to Gracefield's dementia wing. He can be very difficult but the Gracefield's staff took on the challenge he presented, treating him with great kindness. The same staff also showed kindness + understanding to me as I was naturally concerned about him. They are working steadfastly towards settling him in to the home.

Arlington Grove is a superb care home. It feels far more like a hotel than a care home and the facilities (and food!) are excellent. We've used the Family Room for Mum's birthday which had been beautifully decorated by the staff and other highlights include the lounges, bar, hairdressing salon, cinema and beautiful gardens. Pets are welcome and we usually take along our dog who also loves the gardens.

The staff are exceptional, always highly professional, friendly and caring. There are lots of activities arranged and the staff work really hard to care for Mum and the other residents. The support from the staff (both during the settling in period and ongoing) has been brilliant.

It's been a 'challenging' few months making the move to a care home but we firmly believe we couldn't have found a better place than Arlington Grove.

I felt really cared for. The staff were so helpful and kind. The respite care was just what I needed and will certainly be back should the need arise.

Gracefields seems like a friendly place, clean, relaxed and quiet. Food exceptional, makes my mouth water. Staff friendly and caring.

My aunt has been a resident of Gracefields for 12 years. She was transferred from hospital with numerous health problems. Within weeks she was back on her feet and enjoying her life at the home. Staff have always looked after my aunt with caring attitudes. I have always felt she was well looked after in a safe environment. My aunt had full mental capacity so she would have said if anything was not up to her standard and I felt very assured when she moved there. During her 12 years there she was always been well looked after, clean and her room kept very well. Staff are always friendly and professional. It was only through the care she received that she lived for 12 years.

We highly recommend Gracefields. Staff are skilled and professional and kind and respectful, and have caring relationships with the residents. Food is varied, appetising and there is plenty of choice. Rooms and bathrooms are always clean, and laundry seems to come back to the right person. One to one care and activities are good. Would highly recommend.
