I would highly recommend Culverhayes for its excellent care, its cleanliness and attention to detail.

We found it very difficult when we realised our mum had to go into a nursing home but it didn't take long before my mum settled down and was very attentive . All the staff at the orangery were very friendly , nothing was too much trouble . The orangery is spotlessly clean , very modern and bright , we knew that would be important to mum . I want to thank all the staff for looking after my my mum , especially towards the end of her life , they made sure my mum was very comfortable and gave amazing support to all the family ,a massive thank you to you all

From the minute we walked into Winfield Lodge we knew that this was the place for Mum to live. We were greeted by Dawn when we arrived and were quickly put at ease by her calm and friendly manner. We were offered a cup of tea as we spoke about Mum's care needs before being given a guided tour and shown a room that was available. Once the decision was made the process was smooth and once Mum's room had been redecorated, she was able to move in. Mum has been there for 5 months now and her progress has been amazing. We, as a family, are hugely grateful to all the lovely, friendly, caring staff who have helped her so well

The care given to my friends was so exceptional. This was home away from home. Thank you for your love, care, emphaty, support and professionalism. This is a home I will recommend to others. Thank you and God bless you.

My partner has been at The Orangery Nursing Home for 5 years. I visit every day. I have got to know the home and the staff very well. In the last years the home has had extensive refurbishment done including air conditioning. There has been a change of manager and administrator, this has made a real difference to the smooth running of the home. I cannot fault the staff from the managers down to the cleaners. The quality of the effort and commitment that the carers and nurses give with loving care is excellent. No two residents' needs are the same and the staff are professional at dealing and coping with residents that have individual needs which at times can be very challenging. The home is spotlessly clean The chef cooks very good meals with a choice to fit residents' needs. All the staff are friendly and approachable, the manager Toby is always available if I have any concerns, he is easy to talk to, he will listen and work at resolving the problem. I am unable to have my partner at home but I am happy with him at The Orangery. He is well looked after, safe and content there, he would if he was able to join me in saying how grateful we are in having such dedicated people looking after him.

I wanted to review again as he has been there for seven months now. I cannot fault the Home, he has been looked after so well. He is cared for and all the staff have got to know him and his "funny" ways which can at times be quite challenging. They are all so kind and patient with him and nothing is too much trouble. I am kept up-to-date with everything that happens even though I am there every other day to visit. I obviously worry about him, but I never need to worry about the care he receives at Culverhayes. This is such a blessing and one less thing to worry about. I cannot recommend this Home more highly. Thank you to everyone.

The members of staff were very friendly and helpful everything was/being done for the comfort of the residents and staff, but when you go upstairs its unbearable. Cedar Care needs to do something about the heat in the bedrooms and corridors.

I am continualy grateful for the care given to my husband by all staff, they are always alert and aware to every situation (eyes at the back of their heads come to mind). Staff are always cheerful in what must be a very challenging job. Also they always check that I am ok. I feel I have become part of the Culverhayes family. They have beautiful souls. I am always updated on my husbands care needs.

But most importantly I think they care about the welfare of the people they look after.

I have no complaints, the care home takes very good care of my husband. I visit my husband every day. The staff are very friendly, and I enjoy talking to them. I could not complain about the care and looking after my husband gets. Thank you.

The decorating referbishments have greatly enhanced the care home. The staff are very profeshoinal and caring. You can talk to appropriate people when needed. Food is profesionaly prepared and cooked with new and old favourates. The rooms and area are kept clean and tidy.

As family visitors, we were always warmly received. Thank you for giving us such happy memories of our mother's time at The Orangery that we will treasure.

My husband has now been in the home for over a year and he is very happy there. The staff are amazing and so caring and helpful. He couldn't be in a better place. It has taken a load off my mind knowing that he is safe and well looked after. I wouldn't want him to be anywhere else.

Staff are good, my wife is happy where she is now.

The Manager is proud and passionate about Culverhays and is working hard to develop & improve the home further. His staff are all friendly, professional and seem happy as well as committed.

We find the staff very friendly and attentive. Always polite to us when visiting, offering us coffee. Activities always going on day trips. Our friend is very well looked after, and cared for. We couldn't ask for more.
