I have some experience of relatives in care homes and I really feel the staff are particularly conscientious. I have been visiting someone weekly for nearly two years. She has been treated with patience, understanding and kindness. The manager is absolutely exceptional. She is unbelievably kind and
helpful, going way beyond what any managers I have ever met in empathy, imagination, patience and kindness.

I find all the staff cheerful and helpful. The carers are efficient and well trained and always have the safety and comfort of the residents in mind.
The accomodation is always comfortable and clean and the facilities are first class. I feels my wife is well cared for and treated with dignity, which
is very important, and I do not have any fears for her safety and comfort at any time.

My brother was at Culverhayes for only 3 months before he died there of Alzheimer's. He was already a shadow of his former self in spite of excellent care at another care home. With hindsight it was good for him to have made this move. The staff at Culverhayes are numerous, always ready to help, always
so kind and gentle, always smiling. It was reassuring that nursing staff were on duty 24 hours a day and entertainment staff to pass the days.

My Auntie & Uncle are residents of St Teresa's since February 2025. The home is always welcoming and all staff, Managers, nursing staff, well-being coordinators, care staff and housekeeping staff are friendly and always make time to say hello. Staff are very caring and go out of their way to make residents
comfortable. There are many activities offered throughout the week and the ladies put so much effort into ideas and encouraging residents to particpate both in the home and out in the local community. The Nursing staff are attentive and communication is good, we are always kept up to speed with any changes, reviews of care plans and all members of the nursing team are very supportive when you want to discuss any aspects of relatives health and well-being.
The quality and variety of food is very good and there are alternative options available if someone doesn't want what's on offer.
The home is well maintained with beautiful grounds that residents are able to enjoy if they wish.

My mother has been a resident of St Teresa's for 14 months and we are very pleased with the level of care that she receives from all the staff. They are attentive and very caring, they are dedicated to their roles and show great kindness and compassion towards my mother. The nursing care is very good
and I am kept informed of any issues that arise. The food is very good too with smaller portions being provided for mum on the days when she doesn't feel too hungry. Mum has recently celebrated a milestone birthday, 100 years young, and the well being team couldn't have been more proactive and helpful. Mum's room was decorated with a banner and balloons and we had an afternoon tea party for her in the large drawing room which was also beautifully decorated. The light buffet was just right and the cake was delicious. All the staff on duty at the time gathered with us to sing happy birthday, it was a fabulous day and mum really came to life for the occasion.

Service could be improved with better communication between the sub-teams ie nursing, caring and events teams. In general staff are very caring and capable, but most would benefit from better training and support. We were told at 1st visit dementia and non dementia residents would be separated. This
seems not to be the case.
