It was a privilege to care for Mom, and we are grateful for your appreciation of our team's dedication. Our thoughts are with you all at this difficult time.
into The Orangery care home several years ago for dementia care. After an initial period of adjustment they both settled into life at the home with the help of a patient and caring staff.Despite having to deal with complex challenges on a daily basis the staff has gone above and beyond to ensure the safety and wellbeing of my parents. When my father died last year, they helped my mother deal with the loss which eventually led to her more active participation in the amenities the home has to offer.Since I live a considerable distance away it helps considerably knowing that my mother is well cared for.
The home also seems to make an effort to constantly improve the facilities and services at the home. They recently added a new patient lounge and the ability for the residents to pick
meal choices for the coming month.
But most importantly I think they care about the welfare of the people they look after.

The accomodation is always comfortable and clean and the facilities are first class. I feels my wife is well cared for and treated with dignity, which is very important, and I do not have any fears for her safety and comfort at any time.
Thank you! It is lovely to hear such positive feedback. I will share this with our team at The Orangery. Kind regards,Mirabela Nedea
Service could be improved with better communication between the sub-teams ie nursing, caring and events teams. In general staff are very caring and capable, but most would benefit from better training and support. We were told at 1st visit dementia and non dementia residents would be separated. This seems not to be the case.
Thank you for your feedback. I am disappointed that I was unable to rectify your concerns at the time. We are devoted to improving our services and we will be looking into all the areas mentioned to make improvements where necessary moving forward.
The staff always made you feel welcome. The care they gave was excellent. I couldn't thank them all enough from the cleaners to managers.
Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review, I will make sure your kind words are passed on to all of the staff at The Orangery.
