I visit my father in Holbeach Meadows Care Home at least once a week, in addition to chatting with him each evening. He has settled in well, enjoys some of the daily activities, walking in the gardens and is bowled over by the warmth and friendliness of all the staff. The homemade meals prepared and
served on a daily basis, (accompanied by red or white wine) are tasty, plentiful and nutritious. Managers and staff are kind, courteous, hardworking, and above all, they care about the residents, something not always seen in care homes.
The furnishings throughout the home are stylish and modern, reflected in the communal lounges, dining areas and residents' rooms.
A personal visit to Holbeach Meadows will give a well-rounded view if you are considering this home for a loved one to stay for respite or a long-term stay.

Mum moved in two weeks ago and is settling in well - she loves her room and all the staff are really nice. The food is excellent. Mum hasn't joined in any activities yet as she is still finding her feet.

I cannot rate Holbeach Meadows highly enough.
Mum entered the care home when she became too frail to live on her own. Due to early onset of old age dementia, it took her a little while to settle, but all of the staff, from cleaners, carers, catering staff to the management team, all took time out to
chat with Mum and help her adjust to her new living environment.
The home is warm, bright and comfortable, and Mum could not have wished for anymore and soon started to comment that she was very happy there.
All the staff were exceptional in looking after Mum when her health started to deteriorate and treated her with respect and dignity in her final days.
I have no hesitation in giving Holbeach Meadows my highest recommendation without reservation.

My mum has been at the home for about three months. It is a lovely place and feels more like a hotel than a care home. The staff are friendly and welcoming and genuinely care for the residents. The cher is amazing and makes a variety of delicious meals.

This care home is outstanding. My mum has dementia and we worried about how she would cope in a care home but she loves it. She's really well cared for. The staff are exceptionally caring, compassionate and friendly and treat the residents like family. Always activities to take part in if Mum would
like but if not she has a beautiful room with exceptional facilities. Mum thinks she's on holiday in a five-star hotel which is fantastic. She's happy so we are too. Thank you Holbeach Meadows for helping Mum enjoy her life again.

I find this home excellent. I can now go away knowing that my mother is well cared for and looked after, and treated with the upmost respect and dignity. She has gained weight since being here, and enjoys the company of other residents. I feel I picked the right establishment for her, feels like a hotel.

The staff at the Meadows have been delightful - always so very caring and helpful. The accommodation itself is of a very good quality, comfortable and welcoming.
The facilities were all well-maintained and regularly cleaned.
Mum's medical needs were thoughtfully and professionally attended to.
Activities
were interesting and managed to lift Mum's mood and encourage a good social life.

My experience has been delightful for the past 12 days respite and I have no qualms in ever coming again. The food is excellent due no doubt to the current chef and staff. The care that I have received from the staff in general has also been excellent. they care with love and quite often work under
difficult situations. Nothing it seems is too much trouble. The leadership is obviously great. standards are high, all in all a good stay.

Accommodation was first class, comfortable room and attentive very caring staff throughout which helped my recovery to full mobility. During the summer months, the facilities could be enjoyed even more outdoors.

"I have worked in the Care home sector since May 2012 as an Administrator. Prior to this, I worked as a Personnel Administrator in the Royal Air Force for 22 years. I'm looking forward to seeing Holbeach Meadows continue to grow and see more residents and their families come into the home. I love entertaining and will be entertaining the residents with my singing on a regular basis. The best reward is when you see the residents smiling, joining in, and having a great time."
