I always find this home to be clean and very friendly. The care that is shown to my mum is so lovely and make us happy to know she is safe and well cared for. Your staff are a credit to the home and are always friendly and happy to talk too.
Thank you for your kind words, i will be sure to share with the team
thanks again
Chris
I am satisfies.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this review it is really appreciated.
The Rowans is a lovely place. Alway welcoming. Staff caring and friendly. Food is good with a nice variety. Residents rooms comfortable and always clean, including en suite. My only concern is when a resident has to go to hospital (not a pre arranged appointment) there seems no provision for them to accompanied by staff, only family members. Can be really difficult if they become aggitated or agressive.
With regards to hospital escorts, there are a number of specific reasons for this listed in our statement of purpose, I will forward you a copy today and I'm happy to catch up and discuss further. I will also add this to today's relatives meeting if you are available.
Kind regards
Chris
Carers seem very competent. Staff on reception are really friendly.

We find The Rowans team so attentive and caring looking after mum, mum has been in The Rowans for the past 8 months, the love and care of mum by all the dedicated team is outstanding. Thank you to everyone. We feel very welcomed and supportive when we visit.
Thank you so much for such a wonderful review! The team will love reading this and we are all happy to hear that you feel supported and welcome, this is key to our ethos. We will share this with the team, thank you S
Mum seems very settled now days and gets on very well with the other residents and all the staff.
The home is very well maintained and regularly cleaned, rooms are well appointed with spacious ensuite bathrooms.
They have a regular activity and entertainment programme, this is something my mother doesn't make much use of but I'm hoping she may do with time.
I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about the rowans, it's modern purpose built and has ample on site parking.
Thank you so much John, we truly appreciate you taking the time to write this review. Our team will be thrilled to see that you're so happy with how they support your Mam and that you are happy that you have chosen The Rowans. Really appreciated. S
I recently had the exceptional pleasure of visiting my friend at The Rowans Care Home, and I was truly impressed by the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed into a warm and friendly environment that immediately put me at ease. The home was spotlessly clean, with a fresh and calming atmosphere throughout.
What stood out most was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. They were not only attentive and caring toward the residents but also genuinely friendly and approachable. It was clear that they take great pride in their work and treat everyone with respect and compassion.
The Rowans Care Home feels like a true home from home-a place where residents are well looked after and valued. It's reassuring to know that my friend is in such good hands. Highly recommended to anyone looking for quality care in a supportive and clean environment.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review of this home! We have an amazing team here and they are so happy to see this review - thank you!
I am happy that The Rowans found a place for my husband. The staff are amazing and very caring. I know my husband is looked after 100% some members of staff go on and beyond.
Helen - so lovely to see this review! Really appreciated. You are such an amazing wife and so caring and we love that you spend time with us at the home. Your ongoing support and your unwavering kindness is always welcome and personally I love seeing the photos of you both together enjoying your days :-)
My husband has been in The Rowans for about six weeks now. We've found it to be very friendly, from reception to the carers on the household. Its very clean and my husbands room is excellent. My only criticism is that I would like the carers to engage more with the residents on a one to one, but other than that it's a very well run care home and I would recommend it.
Thank you very much for your review - we will ask the manager and the team to share their plans with you - so that you feel assured that your husband has the engagement he needs moving forward. Many thanks
Everyone treated her with dignity, respect, care and genuine affection. In her final days she was kept comfortable and pain free.
Mum was bed bound but the staff checked in on her regularly throughout the day to make sure she was ok or just for a chat. For those residents able to use the communal areas, there are loads of great activities and there is a lovely atmosphere.
The home is spotlessly clean and the food is amazing.
Every member of the team I met was absolutely lovely and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Rowans.

Care and attention for Dad's nursing dementia needs is fantastic at The Rowans. Staff team are motivational and support Dad to achieve his mobility and personal care requirements. Welcoming and friendly atmosphere - attentive staff - who are responsive for Dad and attentive to the family.Couldn't ask for more. Thank you.
Thank you ever so much for this fab review!! The team at the home will be so happy to see this. They absolutely love being there and love to give people the very best days possible. Thank you we will share this with the team.
I had a lovely experience in this home. The environment is always neat and welcoming. I didn't feel I was in a carehome when I visited. The team members were cheerful and amazing even when we stopped by late at night to drop off our friend. He seems really cheerful to be back home. Nice staff, lovely ambience, great place to sit and have a cup of tea with family.
Thank you ever so much for your fabulous review - we truly appreciate you taking the time to send this through! We are so utterly proud of the team at The Rowans, we are so thrilled when people see just how amazing they are! So happy to hear that your loved one is happy in this home
After the medical team told us Mum needed to have 24-hour Dementia nursing. I knew I had to find the best home for mum.
Mum's needs are met with care. And this is most important to me.
I see Mum nearly every day. And I always feel welcome. It's a very very emotional time for mum and my family.
If you are looking at nursing homes.
You will not be disappointed.
Thanks so much for your amazing review of The Rowans, we really appreciate when families take the time to give reviews and the team will be delighted to read this! The manager and the team strive every day to ensure people's days are filled with purpose and love! Thanks so much.
My mum has been in another care home for three years, she moved to The Rowans mid December, in that time the difference in her has been unbelievable, she is smiling, talking and just overall in such a better place in herself, she is more relaxed and nowhere as near as anxious as she was. The staff are outstanding they go above and beyond to make life the best it can be for my mum, I was constantly worried when she was at the old care home l was phoning daily and visiting daily. Now even though I call as often as I can I have no worries whatsoever when I am not there because I know Mum is being cared for so well, she is cleaner, happier, even her shaking has subsided so much and I really think this is due to her feeling more at home. I cannot recommend The Rowans enough if you have a family member who is in need of support don’t look further than The Rowans, you won’t find anywhere better as a place and the staff are amazing Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you very much for your valued feedback. We are very happy to have your mum living with us at The Rowans. I will ensure our team receives your compliment.
My dad has been in The Rowans for just over 4 weeks, and I have seen a massive difference in him in that time. Dad was frail and lost his confidence, he’s put on half stone in that time, eating everything they give him and his sense of humour has come back, all the staff say how funny and witty he is which makes me very happy. Before dad went into Rowans I was visiting him every day and staying for many hours, and now I don’t feel guilty leaving after a couple of hours and having a day off, because I know he is being looked after like royalty, if anyone is looking for a place for their love one The Rowans is the best place.
