I was booked in here before I had even seen the place. My daughter said I would love it here and she was right. It's a lovely atmosphere of comfort and even luxury was there from the start. Nothing is too much trouble and all the staff are very helpful and cheerful, you get the impression they really
enjoy working here and helping a lot of old biddies! I love it here and would be happy to die here - but not yet!

Choosing care for a loved one, in our case for my mother, is a very difficult journey at the best of times. However, I knew the moment I visited the Moat House in Great Easton, we would be happy for my mother to move here. Every member of staff without exception has made the transition as easy as possible
from the initial enquiry to the day-to-day kindness and friendliness shown by carers and support staff. There is flexibility wherever it is needed and there is no doubt that my mother's needs are prioritised. I was initially concerned that a new facility wouldn't host many activities to stimulate my mother who has Dementia. However, the close-knit 'Moat House' community provides an informal, engaging family atmosphere and I can already see a positive change in her demeanour. My mother has also had a few medical hiccups and the response to these needs has been immediate. I honestly could not have asked for a better welcome for my mother. Thank you to all the Moat House team.

My mother was the first resident at Moat House. She was extremely reluctant to become a resident, albeit for three weeks respite, and she had been living completely independently and found the transition hard. All the staff were aware of this and respected her desire for privacy and to retain as much
independence as possible. She was so reassured by the excellent care given by all the staff following a couple of minor medical procedures, she decided to stay an extra week, maybe longer! From when I first made enquiries all the staff have been professional and understanding. The building is beautifully appointed, and the hospitality and food are excellent. I cannot emphasise how friendly, courteous, professional and caring the staff are, and I would recommend Moat House to anyone seeking care.
