I am a dedicated professional with over 23 years of experience in the care industry, consistently delivering exceptional care to those in need. I’m very much passionate about providing care to residents to enrich their lives. My dedication and commitment to providing high-quality care led to the achievement of an Outstanding rating during the CQC inspection.

As a dedicated and compassionate care home manager, I bring years of professional experience and a genuine passion for providing exceptional care to residents. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated my commitment to ensuring the well-being and happiness of those under my care.

I strongly believe in fostering a warm and inclusive environment that promotes independence, dignity, and respect. By combining my managerial skills with my nurturing nature, I strive to create a home where residents feel safe, supported, and valued.

My goal is to continuously improve the quality of care and enhance the overall experience for residents and their families as I firmly believe that every individual deserves the highest standard of care and attention.

I recognise the importance of inspiring and supporting fellow managers in their pursuit of excellence. Achieving a CQC outstanding rating is a significant accomplishment that requires a combination of effective leadership, a dedicated team, and a focus on person-centred care. By sharing my experiences, strategies and lessons learned, I hope to empower and encourage other managers and care teams to strive for exceptional care outcomes within their own organisations.

I have worked in the care sector for over 7 years helping families residents and families find the best possible care in a home-from-home environment.

My passion for the care industry started when my Grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, we realised as a family it was difficult to understand his memory loss journey and support him in the most dignified way. With help and guidance from dementia experts we as a family were able to make the right choices for him to lead a fulfilling life with Alzheimer's.

I knew then I wanted to make a difference in supporting families and loved ones in care. Finding care for a loved one is a very emotional experience and I feel I have the right qualities to support families with empathy and kindness.

In my spare time, I enjoy running, having completed 6 marathons and a number of half marathons raising money for the Alzheimer's Society and Samaritans.

Hi, my name is James...

I come from a background in construction and maintenance within the domestic property sector.

I’ve also been maintenance manager for 3 hotels. Village hotel, Malmaison and Hotel du vin.

And a foster carer in between.

My main interest is travelling at weekends in my campervan. Hoping to do Scotland and France next year!

My name is Lisa, I am the Administrator at Oakley Grange. I have worked in care for the last 12 years. I love being part of a team and I am looking forward to welcoming new staff members and residents to Oakley Grange. I love chatting with the residents and hearing all their lovely stories.

I am responsible for the finance and HR within the home and am always happy to help if anyone has any questions or problems.

I enjoy walking and spending quality time with my family in my spare time.
