Overall Experience

Both my parents went to stay at Eden Court in April where they both received exceptional care and attention. I quickly realised that Eden court was definitely the right place for them and I had nothing to worry about,as, expecially my mum, had complex needs. My mum passed away peacefully and right up until her passing, she was given first-class care by Eden court.

Overall Experience

Eden Court is more like a hotel than a care home. The food is excellent, the bedrooms are very comfortable & the staff are all really lovely I have made my mum feel very welcome. I feel that she is well cared for, with exercise classes to suit her needs & various activities to keep her occupied.

I came here initially for respite care but have now extended my stay. The attention I have received from carers and staff has been exceptional. I have enjoyed classes and have found it easy to make friends. Very impressed with the laundry and general cleaning staff - keeping everything immaculate

Eden Court has been fantastic for my Mum. The staff are so caring and look after Mum very well. She enjoys the environment especially the garden and cafe. The food is very good. Mum likes to get out and about and the amazing activities team escort her on regular trips to gardens, houses, exhibitions etc which is very beneficial. All in all 5* service!

Overall Experience

Merriman Grange is an exceptional, modern and well appointed care home. The staff are all friendly and have provided an excellent level of care for my mum. It is comforting to know that she is being so well looked after. She was confined to bed before she arrived, but is more mobile now and is able to engage with the many and varied activities on offer. This has done her the world of good. In addition to this, the facilities are outstanding. I am happy to recommend Merriman Grange.

Our Dad has been living at Merriman Grange for a couple of months now and he is very happy, settled, and has made new friends, giving him a new lease of life.
Every member of staff is wonderful, from the carers, management to cleaners and minibus driver. Everyone is kind, friendly, and genuinely cares about the residents. They are also very welcoming to family and friends that visit regularly.
The rooms are beautifully decorated and have been furnished to a very high standard .The food is amazing ! There are always a variety of homemade dishes. They offer excellent facilities plus a varied activities programme that changes each week.

Merriman Grange feels more like a five-star hotel than a care home, while still providing exceptional care. I have already recommended it to several people and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic care home for a loved one .

The amenities, layout, variety and attractive environment at Hartwood House are excellent and well thought out especially for a wheelchair user. Residents and members of the staff are friendly and kind. The welcome we received; and that was also given to friends and family members who visited during my husband's stay; was outstanding.
The individual and flexible responses to residents was admirable and reassuring. From a late breakfast, or a timely cup of tea offered to a visitor or patiently helping a resident decide what they wanted to do next.

Food was excellent, activities varied and the thread of kindness was felt throughout the home.

The team at the Gables were hugely professional throughout the time my dad stayed with them. Great consideration and compassion was afforded to making arrival arrangements, including to my mom and the whole family. This made the transition into the care home easy for all concerned. After moving Mom from another care home due to serious concerns about her care, we were understandably anxious. Choosing The Gables was the best decision we could have made. From day one, we received exceptional support, kindness and reassurance. In just three weeks, Mom has become a different person calm, happy, starting to enjoy meals in the dining room, taking part in activities and beginning to make friends. The environment is exceptional, homely, clean and welcoming, with a secure outdoor area she can enjoy independently. The genuinely person-centred care is exceptional, with staff taking the time to understand the little things that matter to Mom, from her appearance to how she likes her meals. We now have complete peace of mind knowing she is safe, happy and receiving the care she deserves. Our visits are now quality time together, and for the first time in four months, I know I don't need to visit every day. Thank you to the whole team, we are so grateful!

Excellent service from start to finish. We needed to arrange an urgent admission for an elderly friend following a serious fall while on holiday, and the whole process was handled quickly, efficiently, and with great compassion.
Communication was clear and responsive throughout, and the team were able to accommodate our friend at very short notice. The management team were exceptional, and all of the staff have been warm, friendly, and welcoming.

The home is always clean, comfortable, and has a lovely atmosphere, making it a pleasure to visit. I would highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for high-quality, compassionate care.

From the first time we contacted Lakeview Grange we have been absolutely delighted with every facet of what they have to offer . Every single member of staff from the Admissions Secretary , Jackie ( who has just won an award and very well deserved ) General Manager, Sean , the two lovely ladies on reception and all of the medical staff headed by Caitlin on my Mothers floor and catering staff are very professional , courteous and polite . The facilities are amazing , a lovely cinema , private dining which you can book for special meals . The entertainment is varied and well attended .It has a beautiful well tended garden for all to enjoy. We recently were invited to a lovely race day with Barbecue and Chichester City Band . Most of all my Mother is extremely well cared for and although she didn't want to move from being next door to us her circumstances dictated her needing more care than we could give her. All in all a seamless change and we couldn't be more delighte

We could not be happier with our experience of Mornington Court so far. My recently widowed mother has been warmly welcomed into this beautiful home by every one of the wonderful staff. They have helped her to settle in amazingly well, encouraging her to join in the many activities the home provides on a daily basis and making every effort to cater for her dietary needs, interests and routines.
