An exceptional experience for Dad and our whole family

We cannot thank the whole team enough for the care, kindness and dedication they showed my dad, David, during his two-week respite stay in August.

Dad's stay was arranged so that he could attend his daughter's wedding, which was an incredibly special family occasion. Without the support and care of the team, having Dad there to share such an important day simply would not have been possible. It meant an enormous amount to all of us.

From the moment Dad arrived, he was made to feel welcome, safe and genuinely cared for. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, attentive, compassionate and kind. It was clear that they went above and beyond not just to meet his needs, but to make sure he was happy, comfortable and included.

WELL DONE to all staff at the home (in whatever role they do) the atmosphere is calm but fun for the residents with care running through the heart of all they do.

OUTSTANDING is the word I would use to describe my mum's stay at The Gables so far. The care home is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated with stunning facilities and gardens. My mum has a beautiful room which manages to combine being functional but also feels luxurious and welcoming. The communal facilities are superb and my mum is particularly enjoying a stroll around the garden or an afternoon chat on the terrace. She is also full of praise for the super meals she is presented with three times a day which she eats with other residents in the dining room. The main strength of The Gables are the outstanding staff who work there. I am always greeted with a warm welcome whatever time I visit and the carers on my mum's floor are kind, attentive and respectful at all times. A massive "THANK YOU" to Paul who was most helpful during the process, from the first enquiry to actually settling my mum in at the home. He is a fantastic ambassador for The Gables and an absolute asset!

Thank you for all the love and attention. We could not have asked for more. The medical care was perfect. Carol looked after Ian both for medical care, (nasty cut had to be dressed) and superb social support- chatting about the Caribbean etc. The care team were excellent at involving Ian in social activities. Especially carers who introduced us to Netley Court.

Mum has been at Netley Court over 3 years and has been very happy. In the last month care has continued to be excellent. I am so impressed with the genuine care shown by staff. The team is extremely well led by Elizabeth but the gentle, kind and caring nature of the younger staff is so evident in the way they have looked after Mum. Mum has told me she really appreciates the attention she gets without feeling smothered.

When I first came to Merriman Grange I was very hesitant as I was leaving my home and my routine. However after being here for a very few days, I am relaxed and happy! The home is beautifully decorated. The facilities are first class & the food is delicious.

The care has been outstanding at Sutton Park Grange. My mother stayed here for a period of respite and she came out healthier, happier and brighter. I don't know what we would have done without this. Thankyou to the team who have all been exceptional.

From walking through the door the whole team here showed both professionalism and warmth. Nothing was too much trouble from accommodating my husband's special dietary needs to labelling all his clothes for his stay for a week's respite. The Carers were understanding and patient and made sure my husband was comfortable at all times. The decor was modern and welcoming which made visits easy. Can recommend.

Visited the home to see a family friend and was blown away by the whole atmosphere, ambience, decor and friendliness of the staff, the fact there's a salon, cinema and coffee area was a joy! It all felt so homely and refreshing. .

The staff have been absolutely wonderful! Friendly, helpful, professional and made dads stay enjoyable, so much so that he he is now open to the idea of moving into a similar facility where he lives.

Leah Lodge was a lovely cool environment and we thank all the staff for the help and care provided to mum in her four week stay.

This is the fourth time my wife has gone in for respite care to this particular care home as it provides the best care attending to all personnel requirements without being sort for once being made aware.All staff are very supportive and caring and take a personal interest to deliver what she needs. All staff whether maintenance, catering, caring and management provide the utmost respect and support on a personal level. The care home is well maintained like a poss hotel with all amenities provided twenty four hours a day. This is the best care home in the area having been and viewed several others for my sister in law.

My aunt has advanced dementia and arrived at Watermeadow Grange after a year in another "high end" care home with onsite nursing 200 miles away. I have found the facilities and care provided for her at Watermeadow Grange excellent and incomparably better than the previous home. Local nurse practitioner and district nurse care has been excellent. Carers are kind and considerate and also respectful of my 98 year old aunt. I am very happy that she is being well looked after

I couldn't wish for Mum to be in a better place. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Eastcote Park and have complete peace of mind knowing that Mum is so well cared for.

The outside care park is spacious, the reception area large and welcoming with a "Luxury Hotel Ambience", thoughtful design and high quality furnishings. My accomodation was accessed via wide sympathetically decorated hallways and my room spotless. The en-suite easy to use, direct access from my room to the pretty outdoor garden a bonus! The staff are knowledgeable attentive and helpful especially curing the early post op days and nights when my mobility was limited and personal care challenging. Nothing was too much trouble. In house hairdresser appreciated. Other residents friendly and welcoming. My recovery rapid, so thank you all!

My work as a middle manager for L.Assd enables me to comment with some objectivity and knowledge. Tom has been resident at Earlsfield almost 4 months. This has been a transition and life changing painful experience for me his wife for 40 years, and a gradual settling period for Tom. He is diagnosed with Alzheimer's. The outstanding and difference of this care home is it's mission to make the environment, homely, inviting to family, visitors and community, the staff are responsive and flexible, and there is a feeling of calmness and kindness to resident and their families. For me, having to slowly adapt to my husband living at Earlsfield, this period has been very painful, but the staff have enabled me to begin to trust others to care for Tom. They have listened to information that I have imparted to them, talked to Tom about his life using the book of his life/photos. Tom & I are settling thanks to the ethos here.

The overall experience of my father becoming a resident at Watermeadow Grange has been very positive. From the outset there have been informative and helpful discussions about how his needs might be met. The facilities are excellent and opportunity to engage in activities as people choose. I find the atmosphere welcoming, often a lovely buzz of activity around the coffee bar, and staff attentive + helpful. It's been a huge adjustment for my father but I feel the supportive + caring environment he's in has helped him to settle and begin to appreciate what Watermeadow Grange offers

My Aunt stayed at Parkfield Grange for respite earlier this year. She had an absoulutely wonderful time. From garden parties to zumba and everything inbetween she really, really enjoyed her stay. Thank you so much to Emily and the team at Parkfield Grange. My aunt now has a new energy and confidence which is wonderful to see.

I was worried about my Aunt coming into a care setting, she settled well and is so happy which in turn is good for me to know.
