Mum was a very sociable person and loved the activities and entertainment. She particularly enjoyed trips out and her favourite was to go to the theatre. Towards the end of her life Mum needed palliative care which was provided with the support of the community nursing team who visit the home regularly. I am so pleased that she was able to remain in the home surrounded by people she knew and who knew her until the end of her life. I will also always be grateful for the support offered to me by all of the staff during that difficult time.

The arrangements were very professional and prompt which allowed us total peace of mind for the admission. He settled in immediately and thoroughly enjoyed taking part in some of the activities and sitting with other residents during lunches. Unfortunately, he became quite unwell a few days after admission, the staff noticed this immediately and called an ambulance, informed the family, and kept the room open for his return when discharged. I cannot recommend Rivermede highly enough, everything is 5*. Thank you to three members of staff in particular, and all the staff.
