Review of Eden Court from Carol J (Daughter of Resident) published on 14 August 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

Both my parents went to stay at Eden Court in April where they both received exceptional care and attention. I quickly realised that Eden court was definitely the right place for them and I had nothing to worry about,as, expecially my mum, had complex needs. My mum passed away peacefully and right up until her passing, she was given first-class care by Eden court.

Eden Court is more like a hotel than a care home. The food is excellent, the bedrooms are very comfortable & the staff are all really lovely I have made my mum feel very welcome. I feel that she is well cared for, with exercise classes to suit her needs & various activities to keep her occupied.

I came here initially for respite care but have now extended my stay. The attention I have received from carers and staff has been exceptional. I have enjoyed classes and have found it easy to make friends. Very impressed with the laundry and general cleaning staff - keeping everything immaculate

Eden Court has been fantastic for my Mum. The staff are so caring and look after Mum very well. She enjoys the environment especially the garden and cafe. The food is very good. Mum likes to get out and about and the amazing activities team escort her on regular trips to gardens, houses, exhibitions etc which is very beneficial. All in all 5* service!

I visit a dear friend who is a resident at this care home, once a fortnight. I am always very impressed with the staff and the facilities offered. My friend always tells me how lucky she is to be there and she is very happy with her living arrangements, the staff, the delicious menu and the activities on offer. It is always a pleasure to visit her and chat about old times. We have known one another for nearly 60 years and I am really pleased that she is being well looked after and enjoying her twilight years there. Thank you

Review of Rectory Court Care Home from Meg H (Friend of Resident) published on 15 June 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
Rectory Court are dedicated to providing excellence in residential care. We have been very pleased with how well they have looked after our friend and she has settled in quickly. Hopefully she will join in some of the activities soon.
As I am based a long way away it is really important for me to be able to rely on the team at Rectory Court and I know I can. My only challenge now is to find a good time to call for updates etc. I work full time so when I am free (lunchtimes, evenings and weekends) the care team are usually busy with the clients. Fortunately the more senior members of the team also use email for communications.

Thank you for all you have done so far!

Very happy with the level of care, quality of food and range of activities available for residents. There is always a member of staff on hand when assistance is needed and we feel that our aunt is being well cared for. It's great that a therapy dog goes in regularly and very happy with the physio team also.

I honestly cannot praise the staff at Rectory Court enough. They have shown the highest level of care, compassion and sensitivity caring for my mum, and nothing is ever too much trouble. They greet us with smiles and have been incredibly supportive when times have been difficult; they have become friends we look forward to seeing. Mum loves every one of her carers and they brighten her day in so many ways. The home is beautiful - even the toilets are luxurious! Mum loves the food and choosing from the menu is a highlight of her day! Rectory Court are nothing short of amazing.

Review of Eden Court from Paul P (Son of Resident) published on 10 June 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

I am overwhelmed with the kindness, compassion and professionalism shown to my mother since her arrival in early December 2025. Her care is exemplary and all her needs are catered for. She has always led a simple life and hates to be a trouble to anyone. Unfortunately, she does not have much of an appetite these days as she is in constant pain. This is sad as the meals are excellent - I have partaken a few myself, eating with her. The last occasion was on my birthday. Her medical needs are very carefully monitored and the nursing staff are always there, waiting patiently, to address any concerns one may have. Also I have a very good relationship with the auxillary staff who will always go the extra mile. When I visit I always make a point of trying to meet face-to-face with as many of the team as possible. This results in a close family orientated relationship. Thank You!

We have been so impressed with the care and happy atmosphere at Rectory Court. All the activities are geared to help people on many different levels of physical and mental aptitude. Barbara has settled in so well in quite a short space of time. As a family we feel so relieved that she is safe there but also happy. They also welcome friends and family that come hot visit. Well done Rectory Vourt for being everything you promised to be.
