Hartwood House arranged a fantastic birthday party on 18th October to celebrate my mum's 100th birthday. They arranged for a singer to entertain Mum and the residents in the morning. They provided wonderful party decorations, a magnificent tea and birthday cake and a separate room to use for family
and friends. In addition to this, the home arranged for the birthday card from the King and Queen to be delivered to the home and presented to her by the Deputy Lieutenant of Hampshire on behalf of the King. A fabulous and memorable day. A big thank you to all staff.

My grandmother was welcomed in with open arms and constantly sings the staff's praises about how helpful, patient and kind everybody is. The room is always tidy and clean and she has everything she needs 24/7. The home provides plenty of activities for the residents to do to keep their minds and bodies
active, but there's no pressure to force anyone to do something they don't want to do or are unable to do. All of her needs are catered to, including doctors appointments, hair cuts, podiatrist appointments etc. The staff really are wonderful and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing my grandmother is well looked after in her final years. Couldn't be happier.
Reply from Charlotte Dean, Home Admissions Advisor at Hartwood House Care HomeThank you for such a lovely review! It is our absolute pleasure to have your Grandmother with us, what a ray of sunshine she is to us all! The activities are such a vital part of the residents care home experience and we strive to have them tailored to their needs. We are so glad that you feel peace of mind knowing that she is in a safe environment and well looked after. She is absolutely thriving here and seeing her make friends and socialise is really wonderful! I will pass all of your kind messages onto the team, thank you again!

Netley Court is doing a very good job of looking after Mum's complex care needs and providing genuine care and support. Everyone has been very attentive and helpful, especially in the last few months. Special mention to all of the carers who give Mum a lot of affection which she enjoys giving back and
I really appreciate their friendly welcome. As ever, everything comes from the management and I feel that the positive environment in this big and busy care home is a reflection of the people in charge. Congratulations to all. TW

I have been really pleased with the care given to my Mother in Law at Netley Court. Despite being 99 in a few weeks she is still loving life and enjoying her time in the home. The professional, caring attention given to the residents is second to none, and the range of activities provided means she

Netley Court continues to offer excellent care for my Mum, who is in her very late nineties. The staff go over and above to show genuine care and commitment to the residents. The appointment of a new well-being lead and the continued enthusiasm of the activities team, has resulted in a noticeable improvement
in the range of entertainment offered; the emphasis being placed on trips and visits in the local area as well as entertainment and differentiated activities. Mum currently has a more varied and interesting social life than me!
I marvel at the patience of the staff and the understanding they show the elderly people in their care. The relationship between the carers and residents is excellent and there is a lot of laughter and compassion shown, not just by the carers but by the whole team. The home itself is large enough for the residents to have privacy and not feel smothered or institutionalized.
Reply from Sarah Gillett, Homes admission advisor at Netley Court Care HomeThank you so much for such a lovely review. It's always a pleasure hearing how well your mum is getting on at Netley Court - especially as she nears such an amazing age! We're really glad you've noticed the difference the new Well-being Lead and activities team have made. They've been working hard to add more variety and keep things fresh, so it's brilliant to hear your mum is enjoying such a full social life (even more than yours - which gave us all a smile!).Your kind words about the team's care, patience, and the atmosphere in the home really mean a lot. We're lucky to have such a dedicated group here who genuinely care, and it's lovely to see the laughter and relationships between residents and staff being recognised. Thanks again for your continued support - and for being part of the Netley Court family.
