My mother has only recently become a resident, and we have been delighted at the kindness and professional care she has been shown. The communication with us has been superb, and we feel we can discuss all aspects of her care freely and at any time. Her room is light and airy, and a new 3/4 bed was
arranged as she struggled with the original one. All the staff are pleasant, efficient and approachable. We absolutely feel she is in the right place for her to be safe and have a great quality of life.

My mother in law went into Abbotswood Court Care Home initially for respite care and after just a week she liked it so much that she wanted to be a permanent resident. It's quite understandable - the staff are so nice, extremely professional, caring and attentive to the needs of the residents. Everything
you could possibly want. I am also impressed with their proactive nature to find interesting and enjoyable activities for keeping the residents engaged and happy from one week to the next. Thank you so much, it's such a relief that she's in such great hands.

Many, many thanks to you and your colleagues for making my mum's stay so successful. I can't think of the all the ways in which you went above beyond - I thought the welcome card was nice until you brought the flowers! Mum had nothing but praise throughout her stay, with 'that's no trouble' being the
normal response to any request. The quality of the meals was big win, too, and she enjoyed meeting other residents.

I think it's fair to say that my mum (who speaks for herself, of course!) is still undecided about leaving her independent living, but I don't think there's any more that you could all have done to make her welcome as Wellington Vale. We will see what the future holds.

Once again, many thanks for making her stay so enjoyable.

What a wonderful community this is, my grandmother is happy, healthy and engaged. It's been amazing to see her improve after assisted living in her twilight years (carers in her home). Hartwood House feel makes me realise how well a community for the elderly can be managed, supporting residents whilst
maintaining dignity for them, and the families.
Thank you very much to all staff and external stakeholders for the service.

Since visiting, we have noticed a great improvement in our loved one. She appears happier and healthier than she has over the last couple of years. She talks about enjoying the food and that she looks forward to the daily activities.
It has made spending time with her much more special as we don't
have to worry that she's being left home alone or what she will eat.

My nan has been a resident at Sunnybank House since the spring and she's so happy. The staff are all extremely helpful and my nan feels supported and safe. Its like a beautiful hotel when you walk in. They have gone out of their way for my nan, its the little extras like a setting a zoom video up to
watch my sister's wedding in Cyprus or letting us use the function room for special family moments. Highly recommend for your loved ones.
Reply from Jessica Wooldridge, Home Admissions Advisor at Sunnybank House Care Home

Thank you so much for your heartfelt review We're absolutely delighted to hear how happy your nan is at Sunnybank House-it means the world to us. Creating a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel truly supported and safe is at the heart of everything we do, so knowing that your nan feels this way is incredibly rewarding. It's often the little touches that make the biggest difference, and we're so glad we could help her be part of your sister's wedding celebration and share in those special family moments. Our team takes great pride in going the extra mile, and your kind words are a wonderful reminder of why we do what we do.Thank you again for your recommendation-it's an honour to care for your loved one.

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
Mum entered Netley Court Care home in September 2023 and settled well and was very happy. Whilst she never integrated and made use of the fantastic facilities or got involved in the many arranged activities she was in her way very happy. The staff always cared for mum with kindness, and dignity and
kept her safe and secure. The friendliness of the whole team was always evident when the family visited and this made visits an enjoyable experience. In the last few weeks of mums life and particularly the last few days, 'nothing' to keep mum safe and comfortable was too much for the team. I was able to stay at the home during mums last days which enabled me to be with mum at the end. I cannot thank the management and whole staff team enough for the care of my mum and the dignity with which she was able to pass away.
Reply from Sarah Gillett, Homes admission advisor at Netley Court Care Home

Thank you so much for your kind and heartfelt words. We're truly honoured to have cared for your mum and are glad she felt safe and comfortable with us. It means a great deal to know that our team could support both her and your family during such a difficult time. Your appreciation will be shared with everyone here at Netley Court. Thank you again.

I have been very pleased with the level of care provided to my mother at Wellington Vale. The staff are very good at keeping us updated on how mum is doing which is much appreciated .We were so relieved to find somewhere where we felt comfortable leaving mum which suited her needs and which we felt
happy with. The admissions process was smooth and the understanding provided to the family at this difficult time was very much appreciated . There are different activities each morning and afternoon to keep the residents busy and entertained. The staff are very caring and professional. The food is excellent as are the facilities .
