My Aunt has been with Sutton Park Grange for 2 and a half years. She has dementia but can be reasonably lucid a lot of the time. She can get stroppy and confused in other period of the day. I have nothing but thanks and respect for the staff who have cared for her.
She has felt secure and loved throughout
her stay. SPG is a very lovely and most professional home. I recommend it highly.
The reception / coffee lounge area is a great social area. The whole place is comparable to a high end hotel / cruise liner.

We are really happy with how well our mum has settled into Parkfield Grange in such a short time - it's amazing to see how comfortable she is after just two weeks. The home itself is beautiful and feels welcoming and well cared for. There is a great variety of activities on offer, which has really helped
mum stay engaged and happy. The staff and carers are absolutely lovely with her - kind, patient, and genuinely caring. They are also very approachable and supportive, even taking the time to return calls after work hours, which has meant a lot to us as a family. We feel reassured knowing mum is in such a caring and professional environment.
Reply from Emily Hocking, Home Admissions Advisor at Parkfield GrangeThank you so much for taking the time to share this, it truly means a great deal to us all at Parkfield Grange.
We are absolutely delighted to hear how well your mum has settled in such a short space of time. Those first couple of weeks are so important, so knowing that she already feels comfortable and at home is wonderful to hear.
It is lovely that you have noticed the variety of activities too, keeping everyone engaged and happy is something we are very passionate about. Most of all, your kind words about our team will mean so much to them. They really do care deeply about the people who live here, and about the families who trust us with their loved ones.

Our uncle came to Parkfield Grange for respite care following a heart attack. It became clear that he was getting weaker. The care he received was excellent, and the staff were caring and attentive. They were also encouraging to him and considerate of the family. They made sure that his and our wishes
were followed.

Mum came to Parkfield in November following a fracture. We have been hugely impressed with the quality of care , carers are kind and capable and treat mum with dignity and respect. Other staff are very friendly too . As mum had started to recover she has been able to take part in a range of activities. The
activities on offer are varied and tailored to the residents needs and wants. We've been really impressed with what is on offer and like the fact that activities take place in different areas of the home . We feel that having the opportunity to move around the building is a really positive addition to daily life. Parkfield is a large care home. We have found this to be advantageous in terms of what is on offer and allowing mum to engage with many different residents and staff members. We've also found that the care/ daily life is very tailored to individual needs which is impressive with the number of residents living in the home. We would highly recommend Parkfield.
Reply from Emily Hocking, Home Admissions Advisor at Parkfield GrangeThank you so much for taking the time to share your lovely review. We are really pleased to hear how well your mum has settled at Parkfield since joining us in November following her fracture.
It means a great deal to know that our carers are supporting her with kindness, dignity, and respect, as this is central to everything we do. We are also delighted that as her recovery has progressed, she has been able to take part in a range of activities. Our activities team work hard to ensure sessions are varied and tailored to residents' individual needs, so your feedback is truly appreciated.
We're pleased you have seen the benefits of using different areas of the home, helping residents remain active, engaged, and socially connected. Thank you also for recognising the personalised approach we take to care, even within a larger home.
Your recommendation means a great deal to the whole Parkfield team. Thank you again for your kind words and trust in our care.

Recently, my friend stayed at Sutton Grange for respite care following an operation. From our very first conversation, Karen was absolutely fantastic so calm, reassuring, polite, and highly professional. She took the time to show me around the facilities so I could make an informed and confident decision
on my friend's behalf.
The facilities are first-class; everything was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and every member of staff we encountered greeted us with a smile and a friendly hello, which was a lovely and reassuring touch.
My friend has since recovered well and returned home, but they cannot praise the care team and deputy manager highly enough. They worked tirelessly to ensure her every need was met and provided outstanding support throughout the stay.
I would not hesitate to recommend Sutton Grange to friends and family. Thank you for making what could have been a stressful experience feel so supportive and reassuring for both myself and my friend.
Reply from Karen Handley, Home Admissions Advisor at Sutton Park GrangeThank you for your lovely review, and we were delighted to support your friend in their recovery and are pleased to hear they are continuing to improve back at home. I will ensure your kind words are shared with all the team.

My father came to the home for a respite stay following a difficult spell in hospital. He arrived in a fairly poor state but within days he was looking much better. He viewed his stay as a necessary evil and was reluctant to participate in any of the activities on offer but there were plenty of opportunities,
staff encouraged him to participate and sometimes succeeded. He was able to go home after two weeks and was much more mobile than when he arrived. From a family perspective the care was excellent, and everyone was very welcoming to him and to all of the family. The home was spotless, the food was good and the staff lovely. This was our first experience of respite care and it was very positive. We wouldn't hesitate to use Sutton Park Grange again.
Reply from Karen Handley, Home Admissions Advisor at Sutton Park GrangeThank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We're delighted to hear that your father's respite stay was positive and that he was able to return home feeling more mobile and well. It's completely understandable that he was hesitant about activities, and we're pleased our team could gently encourage him to join in when possible. Your kind words about the care, cleanliness, food, and the welcoming atmosphere mean a lot to us. Providing excellent care and making families feel supported is always our priority, so it's wonderful to know we achieved that for you.

Since my brother has been in your care, I have noticed a great improvement in his overall health and demeanour. He is happy and content and treated very well. My main comment is that the food needs slight adjustment in some cases.

I feel confident that my mother is safe and well cared for, as her needs are changing. Staff will quickly adapt to manage this. It took her a while to settle, having previously been living independently. The facilities are great, including a lovely garden. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I would highly recommend Parkfield Grange. Since our first meeting with Emily and our show around, we got the sense that they would really take the time to understand and adapt to my Dad as a person and also his needs. We have not been disappointed in this regard and feel he has really come a long way
since being here; both in terms of enjoyment, integration and anxiety levels. It has been of great peace of mind to our family to know that he has been so well looked after. We are only moving him now due to the need for more out-of-home activity.
Reply from Emily Hocking, Home Admissions Advisor at Parkfield GrangeThank you so much for your lovely review. It means a great deal to all of us at Parkfield Grange. From the moment we met you and your dad, we wanted to truly understand his needs and personality, so it's wonderful to hear that you felt supported and that he has grown in confidence, enjoyment, and connection during his time with us. It was a pleasure to support your father as well as you as a family, and we wish your dad every happiness in this next chapter. Please know he will always be warmly thought of here.

We have had a parent at Sutton Park Grange for 18 months now and are completely delighted with the way our parent is cared for there. The home is spotless, bright and comfortable with spacious rooms for all the residents. We love the garden, the coffee bar and the different lounges as well as the stylish
and comfortable bedrooms. The food is varied and plentiful. All the facilities are excellent but it is the staff who make this Home so special. They are very skilled, knowledgeable, kind and friendly. They treat all the residents with care, humour and respect and know them so well. We see the same familiar faces on all our visits and they help us as a family as well in many ways. There are plenty of varied activities for residents to take part in and all wants and needs are attended to in a caring and calm way. We recommend SPG unreservedly.

Nothing is ever too much trouble at Sutton Park Grange.. and that attitude is embraced by every staff member from every department.
Dad has been resident coming up to 2 years now, we did not expect it to be this long. It's such a massive thing losing your house, independence and the majority of what
you've spent your life working for.
But he calls SPG his home. That is worth a million dollars. He is treated with the utmost respect and dignity at all times. ( even when he might be mumbling/ grumbling, a challenging side to his dementia)
I cannot fault fault anything at SPG, it is truly 5*

Dad has lived at Sutton Park Grange for over 18 months now and has always been treated with care and respect.
The property is maintained to a high standard and has a great family atmosphere. All of the staff are friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in.
Dad is encouraged to engage in a range
of activities that help him keep active and mobile.
As a family, we have had help throughout, with advice on supporting both Dad and ourselves in relation to
some of the challenges his progressing dementia presents.
I have completed faith that Dad is in a comfortable, caring and professional environment which gives me peace of mind.

Dad has been at Sutton Park Grange for over a year and we cannot fault the care he has been given.
His diagnosis and developing health & care needs have been communicated and responded to with warmth, appropriate humour and professionalism by all the staff and management.
The facilities are beautiful,
well maintained and spotless, he has regained lost weight with a well balanced and tasty menu and the activities provided have restored and maintained his mobility as much as possible.
Although his condition has understandably progressed whilst at SPG he has been encouraged to participate in activities, daily discussions and wellbeing one-to-ones.
The best thing about SPG is that it gives us complete peace of mind that Dad is OK!

I felt at home as soon as I arrived for 8 days respite care.the reception I received was very warm with Karen and other staff making me feel welcome. All the staff I saw during my stay seemed very well trained to make me feel comfortable. The food was exceptional with the choice of menus remarkable.
There is a daily choice of activities which I found satisfying but not strenuous.. a lot of thought has obviously been given to the management of this care home. It has 5 star rating in my book and no doubt I will calling again ! Thank you . Dennis.
