My dad's care has been extremely good, on every level. The last year of his life has been made very comfortable, and for that we thank you hugely. All staff have gone above and beyond and have formed a lovely bond with my dad, for which we thank you hugely too.

My husband has been in care for 14 months now. he has become very settled under the care of all the staff who are seeing to his needs most of the day. He looks forward to each of his meals and often discusses how good they are. The laundry is excellent in every way. To date we have had no complaints.
Thank you.

As an owner of a retirement flat at Eden Court for 4 1/2 years I have been very happy.
My husband was in the care home for about 2 years before he died, he had lovely care with TLC.

Having a relative in Eden Grange is an enormous relief. A huge weight and stress has been taken from me, and now I can enjoy visiting without worrying what happens between visits. The people I love are safe and warm and well looked after, socially, medically and physically. But more than that, they
are valued as individuals; staff know them and their likes and dislikes and try hard to make them happy and engaged and comfortable.
Reply from Yetty Adepegba, Village Manager at Eden CourtThank you for your lovely review, it truly means a lot to us. The team will be thrilled to read your kind words and we're so happy to know you have peace of mind and that your family is enjoying their time here at Eden.,

Eden Court has been the best choice I have made for my husband, who suffered from dementia. The place is charming and welcoming, clean, esthetic and inviting. The programme is full on, with several concerts every week, pet stroking, activities with children, choir in the nearby library and many day
trips. But what makes it really special is the quality of carers who are genuine and loving, and work very hard to ensure that residents are happy and well looked after. They are smiling and helpful and give the place a feel of home. The management is reachable and attentive, always resolving any issues. I cannot recommend Eden Court enough.
Reply from George Bacon, Resident Service Advisor at Eden CourtThank you very much for this lovely review. Our wellbeing and activities team work incredibly hard to put on a diverse and enjoyable range of events for all our residents no matter what their care needs. We are so proud of our brilliant team for creating and maintaining our beautiful home that our residents can call home.

Our mother moved into Eden Court this year and lived very happily for 3 months until her death. She was welcomed and made to feel cared for by everyone. Each member of staff from management to the nursing staff, cleaners, housekeepers and catering staff made her feel valued and honoured. It is a big
step for anyone to move into residential care with the inevitable loss of independence and autonomy, but the Eden Court team made the transition as smooth and as caring as possible.
We were very grateful for the preparation made for our mother's passing and the information shared with us was invaluable in terms of what to expect, the signs of decline, the support, both medical and practical, in this transitional time was very much appreciated.
We cannot recommend Eden Court more highly and will always be grateful for the care of a very special team.
Reply from Yetty Adepegba, Village Manager at Eden CourtThank you so much for your kind review. I have had respite care at Eden Court for 4 weeks and 2 days after having an Unicompartmental Knee Replacement. The building gives the impression of a give star hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The care staff excellent. The rooms are attractive and comfortable. The courtyard garden in the
centre of the complex has attractive comfortable chairs, shady umbrellas, flowers and a quietly splashing water feature giving an air of tranquillity and calm. Eden Court is well kept and clean. The food is excellent with a choice of menus, plus sandwiches or omelette if one prefers. Fire alarms are tested each week. Like all private care homes it is expensive but one gets value for money in pleasant calm surroundings.

My husband, who has later stage Alzheimer's, and I stayed at Eden Court in a care suite for three weeks while work was carried out in our apartment and I was unable to care for him at home. As neither of us had stayed in a residential care home before I was somewhat uncertain beforehand of how the
stay would go. However, within minutes of our arrival it became clear that the words "care" and "home" are truly fitting at Eden Court.

It is rare to find any organisation where every member of staff on every level and in every department is so unfailingly cheerful, helpful, reassuringly competent and well trained. Every resident, whatever their needs, is treated with warmth, patience and understanding, and throughout the whole of Eden Court there is an extremely pleasant and friendly atmosphere.

I consider that we were very lucky to have had the opportunity of staying at Eden Court. It has given me great insight and reassurance for future care needs that either of us may require.

Reply from Yetty Adepegba, General Manager at Eden CourtThanks so much for such a lovely review. We will pass your positive comments on to the team. Wishing you and your husband all the very best as you continue on this journey together.

Excellent stay after a major operation and needing respite care for 2 weeks. Staff friendly and supportive. The food was excellent, varied and nourishing. The facilities are very relaxing and more like a hotel than a care home. I will recommend to others including my consultant surgeon at the hospital.
Thank you to all the staff.

It is a truly grim thing to find that the place you have chosen for the person you love most in the world to recuperate after surgery is somewhere where you both feel he is unsafe. This was the horrible position my father and I found ourselves in.
But a friend recommended Eden Court and after my
frantic phone call, they worked their magic so quickly. Within hours of my call, I had looked around, my father had been assessed and then welcomed warmly into this wonderful safe environment. It is fair to say that we were both fairly traumatised, untrusting and tired but my father was cared for by a particularly wonderful carer with such calm kindness and charm that over the next day or so he was finally able to relax and concentrate on his rehab. And I felt able to breathe.
Every single member of staff at Eden Court is smiley, friendly, helpful, kind and welcoming. Trust me, not all places manage that... If we ever need help again I won't hesitate to knock on their door.

My husband was a resident in Eden Court for several months before he passed. During his time there the care and consideration of his needs was exceptional - infact I feel his life was extended because of it.
Also, my needs were taken into consideration and the general manager and his care team were
readily available during the dark times and made sure I was looked after when my husband died. I cannot recommend Eden Court and highly enough - my husband was lucky to be in their care.

We moved house in July 2024. Mom is a senior at 94 years old and suffers from cognitive decline. It would have been very stressful for her to stay in the house during all the packing and moving. We asked Eden Court for help and their resident manager was amazing. We took a tour of the home and it was
like a 5-star hotel! An organised nurse assessment was arranged (thank you mom thinks you are super lovely), and dates were set for mom to stay for 2 weeks while we packed, moved and unpacked. During her stay, she was so well looked after. All her needs were met including ice cream at 3 pm! I really want to thank the whole team for making this rather chaotic and stressful time in our lives a much smoother transition. Could not be more happy with all the help provided!

My sisters and I are completely blown away by the extraordinarily high standard of care our mother receives 24/7. We feel so lucky to have found Eden Court - the peace of mind it brings us knowing she is so well looked after is priceless. Every member of staff is unfailingly kind, empathetic, considerate
and helpful. Eden Court's focus on the quality of life for all its residents is impressive, and the dignity it allows residents is exceptional. We appreciate the attention paid to making Eden Court's interiors and facilities feel more luxury hotel-like than care-home-like, and love that the comfortable lounge, bar and restaurant mean we've been able to host a number of family gatherings with my mother over coffee and meals. A special shout-out to the gourmet quality of the cuisine that the chef and his team produce, my mother really enjoys her food, as do the rest of us when we get to eat in the restaurant with her (and we also enjoy the excellent cocktail and wine list).
Reply from Adam Tallis, Village Manager at Eden CourtThank you so much for your wonderful review, the team will be delighted when they read it. Eden Court is simply the best care home/hotel I could have ever imagined for my wife. She was very apprehensive about a move into care, however, the whole team at Eden Court have shown nothing but love and respect for her. being at Eden has managed to get her appetite back. I cannot thank you all enough.

Current Review Score: 10.0 (9.962)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 10 (9.962) out of 10 for Eden Court is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 22 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 22 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.962 for Eden Court is calculated as follows: ( (252 Excellents x 5) + (10 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 262 Ratings = 4.962
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Eden Court is based on 22 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 79 registered maximum number of service users is 15.8, which has been reached with 22 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

As the Village Manager at Eden Court, I have the privilege of overseeing this beautiful retirement village. Eden Court is truly unique—each time you step in, it feels special and welcoming. We strive to create an environment where both residents and their families can form a meaningful emotional connection.

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of care, ensuring that it goes beyond just our residents. I also take great pride in offering a workplace where staff feel valued, have fun and love to work, creating a positive and supportive environment for all.

My Experience

Throughout my career, I have been honoured with several awards, including Manager of the Year and Care Home Team of the Year, and have successfully commissioned brand new luxury care homes.

About Me
I believe in the power of laughter and enjoy having fun in everything I do. As a proud mother to three wonderful princesses, I cherish family and the joy they bring to my life.

In my free time, I love writing and playing music, as well as watching comedies that bring a smile to my face. Nature is a true source of inspiration for me, and I enjoy surrounding myself with vibrant colours and the beauty that the world has to offer.

In my spare time, I love clambering over old ruins, visiting castles and historic monuments. English history is something that fascinates me, especially as there is so much of it around! Our other joy is travelling around Europe (when we can) and trying out new cuisines and restaurants.

Job Title: Care Services Manager Joined: 2025

What I Do
As Care Services Manager, I oversee all aspects of care and clinical practice within the home, ensuring high standards of safety, compassion, and person-centred care. I bring over five years of NHS experience to the role, including three years in a busy A&E trauma centre and time in intensive care, where I developed a strong foundation in acute clinical practice and crisis management.

My Experience
Since moving into the social care sector, I’ve held management positions in several care homes, leading teams to deliver dignified, high-quality care in complex environments. My passion for elderly care is deeply personal—my grandfather lived with dementia, and that experience continues to drive my dedication to ensuring residents feel safe, respected, and well-supported.

About Me
Outside of work, I enjoy running, football, trying my best to play golf, and spending time with friends. I’m very family-oriented, and I love travelling and being out in nature whenever I can.

What I Do
As a Resident Services Advisor at Eden Court, I support new residents and their families through one of life’s big transitions by making sure they feel informed, welcomed, and cared for every step of the way.
