What I do:
I am the General Manager of Rectory Court, as such I have the overall responsibility of the home with the support from my team. My role can vary from day to day and no two days are ever the same .
My experience:
I have been working in the care industry for over 30 years, starting as a care assistant then going back to further education to become a manager first for Suffolk County Council and then into the private sector. I have a passion for Dementia care and hold an advanced Dementia training qualification in addition I have a Dementia mapping qualification which I undertook with Bradford University.

I am 55 and have been married for over 30 years to Adrian a teacher, I have two sons Tim and Tom both currently studying at university. I am a highly competitive person who likes to succeed. I love to shop and find a bargain!

I am originally from the Wirral and I moved to London with my husband in 2015 as he had a promotion and was asked to relocate. We have created a lovely life here. We now have two young children who keep us busy most of the time.

I’m the head chef here at Rectory Court I started as a 2nd chef and was delighted to become Head Chef; my role now is to work closely with my team and all our residents to provide a nutritional and healthy menu with the odd treat. I liaise with our residents to find out their likes and dislikes and provide an alternative meal of their choice if they wish. Me and my team will always aim to please and provide a good dining experience.

I have 6 years of experience working in catering and have enjoyed every moment, learning new things all the time. I have a BETEC level 2 in hospitality and catering and an NVQ level 2 in kitchen services and food safety.

My Experience:
Before joining Rectory Court in 2024 I worked as a Back of House Manager in a few London-based restaurants for over 10 years. That experience sharpened my ability to manage operations efficiently, maintain health and safety compliance, and deliver high-quality service. Transitioning to maintenance management has allowed me to apply my organizational skills and technical expertise in a new yet equally demanding environment.
About me:
Outside of work, I enjoy practical and creative tasks. Gardening and cooking are some of my favorite hobbies, providing a mix of relaxation and hands-on engagement. These activities reflect my detail-oriented nature and problem-solving mindset, both at work and in everyday life.
What I Do:
I have been with Rectory Court since it opened in October 2017. I worked initially as the full-time Receptionist before taking on the role of Administrator a few years ago.
I am responsible for Admin support at the Home – including HR and recruitment, payroll and finance. Working alongside two part-time admin assistants, we aim to provide a warm welcome to visitors, as well as support to the residents and wider Rectory team when required.
My Experience:
Most of my jobs have been forward-facing ones, and I enjoy working with members of the public. I have a vast amount of experience working in a range of administrative and customer-service roles.
About Me:
I am married and we have a son who we’re very proud of. Much of our spare time nowadays is spent walking our two lively dogs, which we thoroughly enjoy. I also like socialising with friends and going out for meals.
What I do:
As the Lead Wellbeing & Lifestyle Coordinator at Rectory Court, I create weekly schedules focused on physical wellbeing, mental stimulation and social engagement. I organise a variety of activities, such as group exercises, music sessions, arts & crafts workshops and lot of interesting social events. Apart from activities inside the home, I organise trips out and visits outside into the community. All is aimed to bring our Residents joy and fun. Our program is based on the Residents interests so everyone can find something to enrich their lives, enabling the feeling of belonging and being valued.
My experience:
I studied at a Music Grammar School and I also hold a degree in Social Work & Social Pedagogy, which I studied in Prague. I mostly worked with children and young adults with behavioural difficulties and I aimed to improve their lives, supporting them through the challenges of living in group homes.
I have been working for Cinnamon Care Collection since 2016 and have been using all my experience and passion for helping people to create a good life for our Residents.

I am a people person and I love spending time with my family, my partner and friends. I love music; I play piano and sing so I created a community choir at Rectory Court for people who share the love of music.
In my spare time, I also like going out to concerts and West End shows. I like travelling and learning languages and I practise yoga every week.
