My Nan has now been at Sandstone Brook for a few weeks. The place is immaculate, the staff are all very friendly and helpful and my Nan is on the up as a result of moving in here vs. being at her home.
This was the best move for her and I'm glad we as a family chose Sandstone Brook. The food is great from what my Nan has said, the activities are clearly listed throughout the week for her to take part in, from dance lessons to flower arranging.
I actually visited recently and they had a singer on who was fantastic and sang a lot of the 50s, 60s and 70s songs, which resonated with my Nan to the point she said her Mum used to sing these songs to her.
As mentioned, my Nan was very reluctant (she is very much old school) but in hindsight is in much better spirits as a result of being here surrounded by people of a similar age and being supported by the fantastic staff members.

Wow what an amazing place, it felt like I was stepping into a 5 hotel not a Care Home. The decor and the attention to detail is just beautiful and the cleanliness and the warm, caring friendly staff instantly gives it such an inviting feel and makes it feel so homely. Mum was discharged from hospital at short notice and had been having carers 4 times a day prior to being in hospital, we felt that the care company were not giving Mum the care and the time she needed and deserved. After discussing it with Mum she was given the option of going back home with a care package or going to a care home for Respite. Mum chose to go to Sandstone Brook. From the moment Mum arrived she was quite literally welcomed with open arms from the very happy, friendly, staff, who seem to go above and beyond for their residents. So far I've met lots of the staff and found them all to be very helpful and dedicated to their role, I would like to give a special mention to Emma who is absolutely amazing!!

Your review is greatly appreciated. I will be sure to pass your kind words on to everyone at the home.
Following yet another short stay in hospital, we finally found the help we needed.
Sandstone Brook has been supportive, compassionate and has given us the help we needed to get our mum settled in.
All the staff have been extremely friendly and professional, they have treated our mum with dignity and respect. My family members have felt confident, that mum will receive the loving care she deserves.
The home is beautiful, it is modern with a calm, home from home ambience.
There are lovely social spaces and also quiet areas. It was lovely to see a group of residents singing along with staff members to a great singer.
The care mum has received is first class and that means the world to us.
Your review is very much appreciated. I will pass your comments on to everyone at the home.
From when I first called in to have a look around, nothing has been too much trouble. Every member of staff takes the time to speak and it's refreshing to see how clean and tidy everywhere is kept. There is a real family feel to the home.
The rooms are lovely and well thought out, with plenty of space.
It was a straight forward process for my brother in law to go straight from being discharged from hospital into the home and things were arranged quickly. He has settled in well and we have the peace of mind he is safe and cared for 24/7.
They have a programme of activities, which is really nice, but equally there is no pressure to do things.
Everyone is lovely and we feel very welcome whenever we visit and happy with the decision to choose Sandstone Brook.
Thank you to the whole team.

to get to know one another . I now feel my MIL is part of an extended family but with the benefit of having access to medical needs . We can visit as a family rather than carers and give quality time. Sandstone Brook is like a 5 **** hotel but with expert nursing. As a retired health care worker I have been in many homes but none have been as special as this.

I cannot recommend Sandstone Brook enough. From the moment my husband and I first visited, we felt an immediate sense of warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. The staff are truly outstanding kind and compassionate nothing is too much trouble. The facilities are clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, creating a welcoming environment that truly is a 'home from home'.
Even the activities and social opportunities are personalised to my husband's interests which is incredible and keeps him engaged and happy. The communication from the team is clear and reassuring, making us feel confident and at ease about his care.
Overall, Sandstone Brook has provided peace of mind, and we are both eternally grateful, thank you.

We moved dad to Sandstone Brook in March just as it opened. We could not have been made more welcome, not only dad but as a whole family. Dad may have had to leave his house but the staff all aim to ensure the place feels like home. Dad has received exemplary care from everyone at Sandstone Brook and we appreciate and thank you for all you do.

Sandstone Brook is a beautiful and well run home. The environment is beautiful, like a 5 star hotel. The staff are patient and kind and really know the residents well. The facilities are excellent and the home is run very well, with a hands on approach by all. My mum came for respite following several hospital stays and, after less than a week, decided she wanted to stay. I cannot fault Sandstone Brook and am delighted at the quality of life mum now enjoys.

Amazing Care Home. I recently moved my 91 year old aunt to Sandstone Brooks and I cannot speak more highly of it. This is a home from home where you are treated as one of the family. The staff are wonderful, with kindness and professionalism shown at all times, nothing is too much trouble for them. Facilities are excellent, with a shop for my aunt to browse around, games room , daily activities, and gardens surrounding enabling lovely views, seating areas and walks. My aunt has settled so well and keeps telling me how blessed she is to be there.

If you are looking for a welcoming, gorgeous and caring home for your relative sandstone brook is the place to be. In March we started to navigate the care system for our grandmother who wasn't safe to return home from hospital. We loved sandstone brook & what facilities and services it has to offer but had no idea how to get her there. It is a beautiful, purpose built home. We were supported by the team through the process to make this move possible. My grandmother has been isolated for the last 10 years and really missed the social aspect of life. Sandstone Brook has given her the care, understanding and time to help her integrate socially and make new friends. They are loving, caring and welcoming. I'm so glad we made the decision for our grandmother to move here and already can see she is starting to flourish in this nurturing environment. The staff are lovely and myself & my children have been welcomed like extended family. Sandstone Brook & it's staff will not disappoint.
Thank you for your positive comments regarding the environment, services, the team and care at Sandstone Brook. The staff team work hard to deliver high standards of quality care.
