I'm very happy with the facilities and the care home as a whole. It's always spotless, and there's a real sense of warmth as soon as you step through the doors. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely caring. There's also always a wide range of meal choices, which my sister really
enjoys. They put on events for all kinds of occasions, keeping residents busy and giving them things to look forward to. Knowing she's in such a supportive and well-run environment gives me great peace of mind. Highly recommend.

My auntie has settled in very well at Wyrley Rose.
The staff are fantastic - caring, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. There's always so much going on in the home, with plenty of activities and events to keep residents entertained and engaged. It's reassuring to know she's in such

One of the most difficult decisions a family can make is arranging respite care for a loved one. Fortunately we chose Wyrley Rose and we couldn't be happier with our decision.The care and support our mother has received have been exactly what she needed, right when we needed it most. The staff have

Mom has settled in so well and made friends quickly which has surprised us. She originally came in for 4 weeks rehabilitation after breaking her hip and decided to stay as a permanent resident. The residents are kept busy with lots of activities and all of the staff are amazing, especially the carers
who work hard to ensure the residents are happy and well looked after.

My father has received excellent care and support from the moment he arrived at the home.
All the staff have been really professional, supportive and helpful in all aspects of his care, finding solutions to his changing needs.
From the moment you walk in, the receptionists are welcoming, making you
feel at ease at a difficult time.
The nurses and carers are very attentive and always happy to discuss how things are and listen to us, as a family, to ensure they are meeting not only my father's needs but ours too.
The facilities are excellent and the food is certainly a favourite with my father.
Overall an excellent experience.

All of the staff are kind and friendly from the people on reception to the cleaners. Lovely welcoming reception, calm environment as you walk long the corridors. The rooms are light and airy. Staff are always kind and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. My mom has settled in well and its a real comfort
to me and my brother and sister knowing she is happy and cared for with meals, mediational and company. Keep up the good work, Wyrley Rose

On the first visit I was so impressed with the home very pleased to see how beautiful the home is but also the level of care. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. From the reception area we were asked to say who we were I was pleased that they made sure who we were due to the issue of the resident
we were visiting is suffering with dementia. I would highly recommend this home. Excellent.

Mom went in originally for respite care, now turned into permanent residence. Facilities are amazing, the home is brand new and up to date with everything. Mom is very happy in a safe environment and is being well cared for. Would highly recommend.

My nan has been in the home for just over a month and has settled in really well, all of the staff have been brilliant and really friendly. The facilities are great and she has been really happy here!

I would highly recommend Wyrley Rose care home. Everyone (from management to care and support staff) is very friendly and professional, nothing is too much trouble. Mum is treated with the utmost dignity and respect in the most beautiful setting, and visitors are made to feel very welcome. The attention

As a visitor only I have found the care of residents to be very good. Residents enjoy lovely surroundings and appear to be stimulated by outings etc. Beauty is of high standard.

My primary goal is twofold: to deliver the best possible care for our residents and to cultivate a supportive, positive working environment where our team can thrive.


My journey in UK healthcare began when I qualified as a nurse in 2015. Since then, I’ve gained diverse and invaluable experience across various settings, including hospitals, complex care units, and established nursing homes, always focusing on the care of vulnerable people

My name is Amanda, but I prefer Mandy.


I have been a qualified nurse since 2005. I completed my training at the University of Wolverhampton, where I studied Adult Nursing.


Before becoming a nurse, I started my journey as a care assistant before deciding to develop further. Since qualifying, I have worked within a Stroke rehabilitation and Parkinson’s disease unit, moved on to sexual health and HIV clinics, moved into prison nursing, and then the majority has been within the nursing home sector, from elderly care, dementia and more complex challenging behaviour units.


I have developed from a care assistant to becoming a nurse, I have been a clinical lead nurse and now a deputy manager.


As a child growing up, I have always wanted to be a nurse, and I hope to continue for many more years to come


I have been married for 27 years, I have two grown-up children and one granddaughter.
