On the first visit I was so impressed with the home very pleased to see how beautiful the home is but also the level of care. The staff were so accommodating and helpful. From the reception area we were asked to say who we were I was pleased that they made sure who we were due to the issue of the resident
we were visiting is suffering with dementia. I would highly recommend this home. Excellent.

Blossomfield Rose is a superb care home. First impressions are calming, caring, beautiful in its surroundings and plenty of love for its residents. My husband is treated with care, dignity and compassion, I was confident in leaving him while taking a holiday. The staff are so friendly and always around
to help with extra care and advice. The dining room is a sociable place for eating, chatting and planned activities. Meals look appetizing and portion sizes are suited to resident's appetites. My husband often has his meals in his room - that is ok too. The rooms are very comfortable, beautiful and scrupulousy clean! I could not ask for a better care home for my husband and would highly recommend to anyone.

My wife who was suffering with alzheimers was loved and cared for by this excellent care home for over 3 1/2 years. In her time at Sutton Rose she received very high quality care from a well managed staff. They also supported me as I tried to cope with my wife condition they ensured we celebrated birthdays
and anniversaries. And they continue to support the links we set up with the local school when residents and children have fun. I fully recommend Sutton Rose Care Home.

Husband had 2 weeks respite in Leighton Rose. He didn't engage in the activity. He enjoyed staying in his room. The staff were very friendly and came to tell when meal time and he went to restaurant to eat. We would use Leighton Rose again.
Reply from Kelly Cox, Customer Relationships Manager at Leighton Rose Care Home

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we are very grateful. I understand that it is tricky to form a clear opinion of the home based on a short respite stay, hence the lower marks, as well as the fact that your husband opted not to take part in too many activities, however I can see you have scored us 5 stars for Staff, which is fantastic & it means the world that you would use us for more respite in the future. We look forward to welcoming your husband back, anytime!

Overall a positive experience.
Our main concern was the appearance of the grounds. The view from my mother-in-law's window was of a large area of weeds and thistles. It seemed as though this had once been planted up but appear never to have been tended since, as did the majority if the flowerbeds.
My mother-in-law commented on this many times. It was very disappointing for her. Such lack of maintenance does not constitute being 'nature friendly' or 'rewilding'.
Reply from Kelly Cox, Customer Relationships Manager at Leighton Rose Care Home

We are very grateful that you took the time to write us a review. We have had a historic issue with the upkeep of the gardens, and it is unfortunate that your mother in law was only with us for a short period of respite, as we have been working hard to rectify the issues in the gardens. I do hope that if and when she returns for another visit, she will find them in a much better condition. Other than that, we are pleased, that on the whole she enjoyed a 5 star stay with us.

I was terrified when I found out Mum had to move to this less expensive home from the one the hospital had placed Mum in when NHS was funding the care. Mum moved to Priestley Rose in May this year. She settled quickly. She loves the food. The nurses are great. They were so attentive when Mum was unwell
and needed hospital for suspected sepsis. The carers ensure hygiene is well maintained and always report any redness to the skin, which is carefully monitored. When I have had any reason to raise any queries about Mum the nurses respond to family worries, whether it is by contacting the doctor or their own input.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care team - they are always welcoming, friendly and eager to help. The activities staff create a wonderful variety of engaging events that keep mom fully involved and encourage residents to connect, fostering genuine friendships. The meals always look appetising and
Mom often tells me how much she enjoys them. Her room is always clean and well kept. Visiting is always a pleasure; the atmosphere is vibrant, and I can truly see that Mom feels younger and happier than ever - thank you.

I would like to thank the whole team at Blossomfield Rose for supporting my family in the transition into the home for my father this week. He has Alzheimers disease.
Following a hospital admission and advice on finding care, the process has been smooth and calm, it could have been very different.
From the receptionist to the manager, everyone has treated us with kindness and respect.
More importantly, my father has been treated with respect as an individual.
It is early days in terms of settling in, but I hope this will enable him to feel safe and secure.

Sutton Rose Care Home

On returning to the home on the day he entered care. They had forgotten to feed him. His drink was out of reach as was his call button. I advised that my husband has dementia and was not to be left in a chair or wheelchair on his own as he thinks he can walk. He had a fall that his daughter witnessed.
When his carer went to visit they were asked how they shower him? This was on the the Wednesday on the last day, my husband was dressed. He had a conveen on and a pipe but no bag resulting in him wetting himself.

Leighton Rose Care Home

My mother recently became a full time resident following a short trial stay earlier this year. Because Mum had been living in the Channel Islands, arranging her move was logistically challenging, but the staff were incredibly accommodating, making both the trial and permanent move as smooth and stress-free
as possible.
It has been a difficult and emotional time for Mum and our family, but throughout the process, the team at have been consistently helpful and supportive. Their patience, understanding, and willingness to go above and beyond have made a real difference.
Just today, I witnessed a young staff member respond with great compassion and professionalism when another resident accidentally spilled hot coffee on himself. The way she immediately and gently cared for him, offering comfort and reassurance, gave me real confidence that my mother is in safe and caring hands.
I am truly grateful to all the staff for their kindness and dedication. Special thanks to the customer relations administrator for everything.

Mum spent 8 months at Blythe' Rose and we were extremely happy with the care that she received. The staff clearly knew how to handle her challenging form of dementia and we could sleep easy at night knowing that she was properly cared for when we could no longer manage her at home. The facilities are
state-of-the-art with a high staff-to-resident ratio, so much so that we always referred to it as the Rolls Royce of dementia care. Once again, a heartfelt thanks to all at Blythe.
