Wyrley Rose Care Home

Overall Experience 5.0 out of 5
In March this year we found ourselves needing to find a local Care home for my Aunty. How fortunate were we to find Wyrley Rose Care Home! Having read their reviews and looked at their website we arranged a visit. From the moment we stepped into this beautiful home where we were greeted by Michelle
we instantly knew this was the place we wanted our Aunty to reside in. The home is immaculate and the quality of care is exceptional. Not only has my Aunt been made so welcome but so have we as a family! Thank you to every member of staff for the services you provide to ensure our Aunty gets the care and attention she deserves - it's a great comfort to us all as a family knowing that she's being so well looked after every single day. Thank you.
Reply from Soni Atwal, Senior Customer Relations Manager at Wyrley Rose Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful feedback.

We are delighted that your experience with Wyrley Rose Care Home has been such a positive one. It means a great deal to us that you felt welcomed from your very first visit, and we will be sure to pass your kind words on to Michelle and the rest of the team.

Providing exceptional care in a warm, comfortable, and supportive environment is at the heart of everything we do, so it is incredibly rewarding to hear that both your aunt and your family feel welcomed and reassured. Knowing that we can provide comfort and peace of mind to families is one of the greatest compliments we can receive.

Thank you for placing your trust in us to care for your aunt. We are privileged to be part of her journey and look forward to continuing to support her and your family.

I was admtted to Leighton Rose Care Home for respite care following a fall.
My son contacted the care home and very quickly, the deputy manager visited me in hospital to assess my needs prior to admission.
Everything regarding my move from hospital to Leighton Rose was arranged.
I was greeted by
friendly, helpful staff on arrival and settled into my very pleasant room on the nursing floor.
Throughout my 3 month stay I was treated with kindness and efficiancy from all levels of staff.
The staff were very busy and many worked long hours , but they remained cheerful and friendly at all times.
Although I chose not to join in all the group ativities, there were plenty on offer.
My visitors were made welcome and we enjoyed making use of the Bistro facilties on the ground floor, where there is also a hairdressing salon, and cinema.
There was always a satisfactory choice of meals 3 times a day.
Reply from Soni Atwal, Senior Customer Relations Manager at Leighton Rose Care HomeThank you for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review of your stay at Leighton Rose Care Home.

We are delighted to hear that your admission process was smooth and that our Deputy Manager was able to support you and your family during what must have been a challenging time. Ensuring a seamless transition from hospital to our home is something we strive for, and it is wonderful to know that you felt well supported from the very beginning.

Your kind words about our team mean a great deal to us. We are incredibly proud of our staff and their commitment to providing compassionate, person-centred care. It is especially rewarding to hear that their kindness, professionalism, and cheerful approach made such a positive difference throughout your three-month stay.

I am a lay minister, and I also have a friend/service user staying here as a permanent home. I have always been made welcome every time I have visited, and my friend has settled in really well. The opening day was really special, the food was delicious, and the visit from the mayor and the alpacas certainly
made it memorable. I found the staff joined in with our small church service.

We're pleased that you enjoyed our opening day celebrations. It was a fantastic occasion for everyone, and we're glad the delicious food, the mayor's visit, and the alpacas helped make it such a memorable day!
At Heathview Rose, we believe in supporting the wellbeing of our residents in every aspect of their lives, including their spiritual needs. It is lovely to hear that our team joined in with your church service and helped create a warm and inclusive atmosphere.

Grandad came to Heathview for respite care. Myself and my partner are so pleased with the high level of care grandad has received. The care home is beautiful, homely and has a lovely feel. Everyone is chatty, welcoming, and so helpful. I stayed for lunch one day, and it was amazing, and so fresh and
tasty. Grandad is so settled and comfortable. He says all care/support is very dignified, he has seen the animals outside and has been for a walk in the garden. Such a beautiful, caring place. Thank you!!

Mum moved into Perdiswell Rose 3 week ago. It's been a really tough few weeks for mum and her family. The support has been fabulous, from all the staff. There is a very nice feel to the place. And I love that ALL the staff know mum's name, even on different floors. It's early days and mum still settling
in, but I have peace of mind finally and I know mum is safe and well cared for and she's smiling again.

Studley Rose is a fantastic care home with superb care staff who are always very friendly and attentive to my mom. It truly feels like a home from home and being able to personalise the bedroom has helped massively.
The care home has plenty of space inside to socialise or have a rest and there's a
good program of activities every week for which the residents are encouraged to participate.
There's lovely gardens surrounding the home with easy access to it and nice garden furniture.
I have no hesitation in recommending Studley Rose if your looking for a care home for your loved one.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Sammy for making what could have been a very emotional and stressful transition such a positive experience. From the very beginning, Sammy was incredibly supportive, compassionate, and professional, guiding us through every step of transferring my Nan into care.
The
home itself is absolutely beautiful, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately put our minds at ease. Every member of staff has been kind, caring, and attentive, and it is clear that the residents' wellbeing is their top priority.
Knowing that my Nan is receiving such excellent care has given our whole family great comfort and reassurance. We couldn't be happier with the decision, and we feel confident that she is in the best possible hands.
Thank you again to Sammy and the entire team for making this transition so smooth and for providing such a wonderful environment for my Nan. We are truly grateful.

My mother had terrible care in the assessment unit she was referred to from hospital. When we were assessed at needing nursing care, my moms carers had no hesitation in recommending Sutton Rose. It is friendly and welcoming home with staff who genuinely know their residents and contact relatives promptly
if there are any concerns. My mom was well cared for in her 9 months there.

Gran was very unsettled when she first came to Sutton Rose. The staff are amazing. The support and kindness to gran has been wonderful. But also the help and support towards family has been really great. The team has had to adapt to gran and her needs and so far we have been pleased. Some staff have/need
some more training in dementia approach but they have been guided well with support from staff. Thank you for all your kindness!

My mother has been resident at this care home for a few months now. Each time I've visited, I've found the ambience much more than dutiful and caring. There is a special bond amongst staff and residents, and dignity and quality of life are paramount. The activities planned for every week are fun and
inclusive, for example the session with a local ukulele group in the lobby yesterday; residents sang along to known songs, and danced with each other. Ongoing efforts for the residents are thoughtful and sincere.
Reply from Abi Hargreaves, Customer Relationship Manager at Perdiswell Rose Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We are delighted to hear that your mother has settled in well and that you have felt such a positive atmosphere during your visits.

Creating a warm, supportive environment where residents are treated with dignity, respect, and genuine compassion is at the heart of everything we do. It is wonderful to know that the relationships between our team and residents have made such a positive impression on you.

We're also pleased that you enjoyed seeing our activities programme in action. The ukulele session was a fantastic afternoon, and it was lovely to see so many residents singing, dancing, and enjoying themselves together.

Your kind words about our staff's thoughtful and sincere efforts mean a great deal to us, and we will be sure to share your feedback with the team. Thank you again for your support and for trusting us with your mother's care.

Carol is well looked after and content. Staff have taken time to get to know her and treat her with kindness, respect and a friendly approach. Carole has significant mobility and cognitive issues, and staff take time for her to understand when administering personal care. The home has a warm feel whilst
maintaining a professional approach.

The facilities, the activities and the staff all make Sutton Rose a great care home. Resident lounges are often full of life and provide an environment of care and engagement I'm struck by how all the staff seem to know the residents by name, and take the time to build relationships with me, a family
member, too during my weekly visits. I am happy to know my grandpa is well cared for every day.
