Review of Willow Rose Care Home from J B (Niece of Resident) published on 28 July 2026 Submitted via Website•
Overall Experience
My experience of Willow Rose Care Home is that it is welcoming and homely. The Home is kept beautifully clean and tidy. The staff, including admin staff, cleaners, laundry, chefs, carers, nursing staff and activity organisers all work very hard to make this happen. A very big THANK YOU to all of them! My Aunt has lived in the Hatherton Suite for the last 6 months and is extremely happy and settled. She is positively thriving and enjoying life again! She enjoys the variety of food provided and joins in with all the regular activities e.g. knitting club, cooking, exercise sessions. She also looks forward to the music events and occasional trips out arranged for the residents. The carers are kind and compassionate and have a lovely relationship with the residents, making them feel safe and secure, especially when challenges arise. Family members are welcomed at any time and encouraged to attend and join in any of the events arranged.
In short, my Aunt is now 'Living Her Best Life'!!

Review of Wulfrun Rose Nursing Home from J T (Daughter of Resident) published on 23 July 2026 Submitted via Website•
Overall Experience
After 23 months I feel I can give a very balanced review of Wulfrun Rose Nursing Home. This home has given my Mum her life back. We joke together that she is so lucky to be living in a 5 star home now. Importantly, the individualised nursing care she receives to maintain her standard of living is given by an excellent team. Medical support is also available importantly in the home, helping to keep Mum healthy. Mum has her own room 'new home' with her trinkets. She has an ensuite for her hygiene and privacy to be maintained. The rooms themselves are kept clean, along with an in-house laundry service which includes her clothes. The daily activities provided are given whilst recognising Mums general condition. The food is nutritious and varied with drinks and snacks as required.
Mum is happy to share her day with the other residents she has made friends with by chatting, watching TV and singing which she loves to do. The staff encourage these pastimes and add many more including hairdressing.
↩Reply from Louise Kearns, Manager at Wulfrun Rose Nursing Home

Review of Bilbrook Rose from Simon W (Son of Resident) published on 23 July 2026 Submitted via Website•
Overall Experience
What an amazing place. From the very beginning of my first enquiry to the first day of my mums arrival at Bilbrook Rose it has been an excellent experience. The first day my mum arrived they made her feel like a star and treated her with respect. Shirley and Nanda have welcomed us all as a family into the Bilbrook Rose family. Lizzie has gone above and beyond and ensured I was kept updated with everything I needed to know. All of the care and activity staff have kept Mum entertained over the last three weeks and she seem really happy to have moved here.
Well worth a visit and a look around if you are considering somewhere for a loved one or yourself to go into care establishment.

Bilbrook Rose is a wonderful care home! Such lovely staff members and management that go above and beyond for my Grandmother. On her first day there, she was welcomed to her favourite song and got to cut the ribbon to open her room, she was absolutely ecstatic! This is the first time I have experienced admiting a family member in a nursing home. My husband came to Meadow Rose 4 months ago after a bad experience in a previous home and a 3 month hospital stay. It was a very difficult time for both of us. I have to say from the very first visit I felt this was the right place. The staff are wonderful - patient, kind and professional. He even went out on a day trip which is something I never believed would be possible. The activity team looked after him so well and he had a wonderful time. I'm finally able to relax knowing he is being well cared for. I cannot recommend this Home highly enough.

Review of Wyrley Rose Care Home from E G (Wife of Resident) published on 17 July 2026 Submitted via Postal Card•
Overall Experience
My husband went from the hospice to Wyrley Rose for end of life care. We felt welcome from the initial assessment process till he died. The nurses and the carers treated him with such dignity, included him in the decision making every time and were very caring and helpful to me and our family. The atmosphere in the building was calm and welcoming from reception through to the support staff. My husbands diet was somewhat complicated and finding the right food/consistency was difficult at times. My family and I were able to spend quality time with him and we were well supported at the end. Our dog was made welcome too.

Review of Meadow Rose Nursing Home from Eve R (Regular Volunteer) published on 15 July 2026 Submitted via Postal Card•
Overall Experience
I became a volunteer visitor after having such a good experience originally visiting a resident. There is always a warm welcome on entry because of someone on reception which sets the tone. All staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming, Residents are treated with dignity and respect and are given to believe nothing is too much trouble. When speaking to residents They speak very fondly and highly of The carers. Rooms are kept nicely and homely and always clean. Corridors/passages are kept empty to allow for easy passage along them, clean and fresh looking. The manager is friendly and professional and respected, is obviously doing a really good job
