Church Rose is a 42 bedded modern care facility in Handsworth conveniently located close to local amenities including GP surgery and places of worship. Access to major road network is close with the M5 being just over a mile away.
Bedrooms and communal areas have been designed and furnished to the highest standard utilizing professional expertise, bespoke materials with a blend of traditional and contemporary style. Every bedroom features an en-suite facility, the majority with wet rooms.
There is excellent outside space for the residents to have a stroll, involve themselves in some gardening or develop their own vegetable patch. Ample car par space is available at the front for visitors.

Initially I felt apprehensive and guilty about my husband, who is in his 50's, moving to a nursing home following a stroke, when he became paralysed and incontinent. Due to my disability I was unable to look after him. Church Rose has turned out to be a very good choice. We were concerned that there may be issues as we are gay but thankfully thats not the case, we are both made very welcome and treated like all others. He received very good care. All his health needs, including diabetes and epilepsy are treated very well. The staff generally care in a professional and friendly way. There are plans to expand the activities programme which is very pleasing.

My dad arrived at the home quite poorly, however, the care home have taken such good care of him. He is eating, looking healthier, happier and his quality of life has improved so much. They monitor my dad really thoroughly and act on his health so he's been making such huge improvements based on this. They spend time with him and play games and watch movies. I am a registered nurse for 17 years and been in Macc Care for 4 years. i have been promoted as Home Manager for Church Rose.
I have been working as the Head Chef at Macc Care for 12 years and love every part of my job. I do daily visits to each of our residents to ask their meal preference.
I have been with Macc Care for over 9 years and enjoy organising entertainment for our residents, arts and crafts workshops and especially on special celebrations we like to dress up to have a wonderful time.
