It's like walking into a 5-star hotel, not a care home. Staff can't do enough for you, all very helpful. My sister came for respite care but likes it so much has decided to stay.

My brother and I accompanied my aunt to view The Perdiswell Rose Care Home just before it was due to open, and we were extremely impressed with the thoughtful design and quality finish of the building and furnishings.
My aunt moved in on 9th September on a respite basis. Since then she has become a
permanent resident. All the staff are polite, friendly, very helpful and clearly have the knowledge and experience required within their respective positions.
Visitors are made very welcome. Recently we had a family meal for five in the well appointed private dining room to celebrate my brother and his wife's wedding anniversary. It was an excellent three course Sunday lunch. There is a small charge for visitors but the money is put into a fund to benefit the residents.
There is a wide variety of activities and entertainment as well as inclusive hairdressing, manicure and pedicure services.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and management.

Mother in Law was in hospital after a fall and we knew the Perdiswell Rose would be opening in the near future.
We had visited before it was fully open and felt it would be a great place for her permanent care.
The management team were great and Mother in Law came in on 11th September.
As its a new
facility the staff have been able to help Mother in Law adapt to her new home.
As you would expect of a new build the set up and facilities are first class.
We would recommend anyone to come and see for themselves.

My mother-in-law moved into Perdiswell Rose in September. Both my wife and I have been to visit several times, as well as having had a tour before my mother-in-law moved in. I am very impressed with the home, all the staff are very resident-focused and nothing is too much trouble. There are ample social
activities to engage the residents, which is lovely. The building is brand new and has been appointed to the very highest standards. I was more than a little jealous of the cinema room!

My mother in law is so at home at Periswell Rose. All the staff are competent, caring, supportive and friendly (and to all the family). The many activities are welcome, exciting for mind and body. The food is always wholesome and good. I am very impressed with the care home inside and out.

I moved into the Perdiswell Rose Nursing Home on Saturday the 20th September 2025. I can reliably say that it is the best decision I have ever made. I was immediately made to feel very welcome and not only as part of a family but also part of the establishment. My thoughts and ideas mattered and staff
listened to your likes and dislikes and take on board. All the staff are friendly helpful and very caring. All my family are delighted with the facilities open to me and I feel as if "I have come alive again". My review of the Perdiswell Rose Nursing Home is the best thing that has happened to Worcester in a very long time.

My mum moved her home to Perdiswell Rose on 25th September 2025. She has gone from strength to strength with the help and support of the fantastic staff at the home. Everyone goes the extra mile to help and offer advice. My mum has found a new family and for me it was lovely to see her twinkle back
in eye.
The accommodation is beautiful and mum has a great view of the garden which she loves. The squirrels keep her entertained!
My husband and I also feel part of the community at Perdiswell as we are always included and invited to the social gatherings. It's just brilliant to know mum is being looked after so well and she actually said to me ' I am happy to be here'. I can't ask for anything else.

Our first contact was the Manager of the home. She was kind and supportive as it was a very emotional time for me, making this decision on behalf of my Mum. Mum's room is spacious with en-suite facilities, including a shower.
Mum has been a resident of Perdiswell Rose Care Home since 11 September
2025. All staff have given us a warm welcome and all have been so caring and attentive to my Mum's needs. Staff from all departments have taken the time to chat with her, to help her to settle in.
There is a full timetable of activities that are available for residents to attend. Mum especially likes Art work and being out in the courtyard garden, where she did some painting. It was lovely seeing her smiling and enjoying the activity. Mum enjoys the delicious food that is provided, freshly cooked on-site.
I would highly recommend the Perdiswell Rose Care Home. It felt like the right place for Mum and she is being truly cared for by compassionate professionals who provide excellent care.

Current Review Score: 9.3 (9.316)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.3 (9.316) out of 10 for Perdiswell Rose Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 8 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.3 out of 5 from 8 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.990 for Perdiswell Rose Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (95 Excellents x 5) + (1 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 96 Ratings = 4.99
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.326 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Perdiswell Rose Care Home is based on 8 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.1 + 0.1 + 0.1 = 3.8
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 76 registered maximum number of service users is 15.2. 8 Positive Reviews ÷ 15.2 = 0.526
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
