Mum had 2 weeks respite at Perdiswell Rose while we went abroad. First time she's been for respite anywhere so we were all a bit apprehensive. The staff were so welcoming & did everything they could to alleviate concerns- found her a room near some residents she knew, called me to say how her first night went, sent photos & videos of her during her stay. We could also see general activities etc on social media. Staff even cooked a different meal for her when she didn't like the options one day. Mum did lots of the activities, loved sitting in the garden & made various new friends. She said although she was apprehensive on arrival, she'd had a lovely time & would be happy to go for another stay. Can't say better than that. We are so grateful to the staff who organised her stay, and everyone who looked after her so well with such care and kindness. Definitely 1st choice for future respite needs.
