What a wonderful place moved my dad here after being unhappy with another home. The difference in my dad is outstanding after isolating himself from other at a previous care home he'd is now joining in with activities smiling and have fun.
The staff have all been amazing and even with his dementia
he has settled very quickly.
The rooms are bright clean and comfortable and the communal areas are very well decorated homely welcoming and comfortable.
Professional caring staff that take time to get to know and understand the residents is a welcome touch and much appreciated. Regular updates and photos of what dad has been up to is also reassuring that my dad is being well looked after.
Well done Perdiswell Rose your doing an outstanding job.
Thank you.

I recently moved my dad from another home. At the previous home he was spending hours in his room alone and we now believe that he was depressed.

Within a couple of days he is totally different. Socialising with other residents and the staff are amazing with him. This week he has been playing Bingo,

singing and dancing. To see him with a huge smile on his face means the world. This really is a home from home, all the staff are amazing and so caring.

From our initial visit , to then deciding to move Mum to the Perdiswell Rose, we feel that both Mum and family have been treated with compassion , dignity and understanding.
Mum has been living with Alzheimer's for over 8 years and being unable to live at home has been difficult for her.

I can't

thank the staff enough for the love and care they have given to Mum in helping her settle in.
All the staff are amazing. THANKYOU

As a family, we were so impressed with the Perdiswell Rose. My aunt, after our tour of the house, was pleased to choose a room of her choice. The home is a fit-for-purpose, well-appointed building with lovely surroundings, with warm, comfortable personal rooms with some access or views of the gardens.
The care given from day one by all staff, regardless, is outstanding, with a great medical team keeping loved ones safe and well. The busy kitchen staff, guided by the chef,s provide all meals to a very high standard indeed. Security is of paramount importance and is observed at all times. The home has several dining locations and also boasts a private dining room for family occasions, plus a cafe, cinema for favourite films, and a gym, for gentle exercise. The home is a safe 24/7 care. The staff and management make up a very dedicated team and are to be congratulated on making the Perdiswell Rose such a big success. All the best to you all for a long, happy future. Thank you.

My mum joined Perdiswell Rose after a short stay in hospital. During our initial visit, we were shown around by Abi, who immediately impressed us with her empathy, knowledge and gentle advice. She made us feel reassured and supported at every step.
Sandi, the care manager, visited Mum in hospital and
showed such warmth and genuine interest in her as a person. I'll never forget her words: "I don't want you to think of Perdiswell Rose as a care home, but instead a home with lots of care." Those words truly guided our decision - and they have proven to be absolutely true.
Since moving in, Mum has been treated with the utmost care and respect. The team at Perdiswell Rose truly values each resident as an individual on their own journey and Mum feels heard, understood and cared for.
I would highly recommend Perdiswell Rose to anyone looking for a compassionate and professional care environment. The staff are all fantastic and it really is - just as Sandi said - a home with lots of care.

As a family member, it's incredibly reassuring to know my Nan is so well cared for at Perdiswell Rose. The staff genuinely go above and beyond and it's clear how much they care about the residents' well-being.

The variety of activities they organise is fab - there's always something creative or fun

going on and it's lovely to see the regular updates on social media showing residents enjoying themselves.

Abi was so responsive and helpful from initial contact and Sandie during Nan's pre-admission assessment was so kind she brought my Nan to happy tears. Nan is now settled, sleeping well and being looked after with compassion and respect. We're so grateful to everyone at Perdiswell Rose for the care and comfort they provide every day.

My brother and I accompanied my aunt to view The Perdiswell Rose Care Home just before it was due to open, and we were extremely impressed with the thoughtful design and quality finish of the building and furnishings.
My aunt moved in on 9th September on a respite basis. Since then she has become a
permanent resident. All the staff are polite, friendly, very helpful and clearly have the knowledge and experience required within their respective positions.
Visitors are made very welcome. Recently we had a family meal for five in the well appointed private dining room to celebrate my brother and his wife's wedding anniversary. It was an excellent three course Sunday lunch. There is a small charge for visitors but the money is put into a fund to benefit the residents.
There is a wide variety of activities and entertainment as well as inclusive hairdressing, manicure and pedicure services.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and management.

Mother in Law was in hospital after a fall and we knew the Perdiswell Rose would be opening in the near future.
We had visited before it was fully open and felt it would be a great place for her permanent care.
The management team were great and Mother in Law came in on 11th September.
As its a new
facility the staff have been able to help Mother in Law adapt to her new home.
As you would expect of a new build the set up and facilities are first class.
We would recommend anyone to come and see for themselves.

My mother-in-law moved into Perdiswell Rose in September. Both my wife and I have been to visit several times, as well as having had a tour before my mother-in-law moved in. I am very impressed with the home, all the staff are very resident-focused and nothing is too much trouble. There are ample social
activities to engage the residents, which is lovely. The building is brand new and has been appointed to the very highest standards. I was more than a little jealous of the cinema room!

I moved into the Perdiswell Rose Nursing Home on Saturday the 20th September 2025. I can reliably say that it is the best decision I have ever made. I was immediately made to feel very welcome and not only as part of a family but also part of the establishment. My thoughts and ideas mattered and staff
listened to your likes and dislikes and take on board. All the staff are friendly helpful and very caring. All my family are delighted with the facilities open to me and I feel as if "I have come alive again". My review of the Perdiswell Rose Nursing Home is the best thing that has happened to Worcester in a very long time.

My mum moved her home to Perdiswell Rose on 25th September 2025. She has gone from strength to strength with the help and support of the fantastic staff at the home. Everyone goes the extra mile to help and offer advice. My mum has found a new family and for me it was lovely to see her twinkle back
in eye.
The accommodation is beautiful and mum has a great view of the garden which she loves. The squirrels keep her entertained!
My husband and I also feel part of the community at Perdiswell as we are always included and invited to the social gatherings. It's just brilliant to know mum is being looked after so well and she actually said to me ' I am happy to be here'. I can't ask for anything else.

Our first contact was the Manager of the home. She was kind and supportive as it was a very emotional time for me, making this decision on behalf of my Mum. Mum's room is spacious with en-suite facilities, including a shower.
Mum has been a resident of Perdiswell Rose Care Home since 11 September
2025. All staff have given us a warm welcome and all have been so caring and attentive to my Mum's needs. Staff from all departments have taken the time to chat with her, to help her to settle in.
There is a full timetable of activities that are available for residents to attend. Mum especially likes Art work and being out in the courtyard garden, where she did some painting. It was lovely seeing her smiling and enjoying the activity. Mum enjoys the delicious food that is provided, freshly cooked on-site.
I would highly recommend the Perdiswell Rose Care Home. It felt like the right place for Mum and she is being truly cared for by compassionate professionals who provide excellent care.

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.735) out of 10 for Perdiswell Rose Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 14 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.8 out of 5 from 14 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.964 for Perdiswell Rose Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (162 Excellents x 5) + (6 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 168 Ratings = 4.964
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.771 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Perdiswell Rose Care Home is based on 14 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.85
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 76 registered maximum number of service users is 15.2. 14 Positive Reviews ÷ 15.2 = 0.921
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

I am a passionate and experienced Registered Home Manager, with a background as a Regional Director and Commissioning Home Manager.

Over 30 years, starting as a care assistant to a registered manager, I’ve led teams and services with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional, person-centred care. Caring comes naturally to me, and I believe in not only supporting residents within the home but also building strong community connections. I actively engage with local organisations, families, and support networks to create inclusive, enriching experiences for those we care for. Outside of work, I enjoy walking, taking holidays to unwind, and spending quality time with my family and grandchildren who I adore. These moments recharge me and reflect the balance I strive to bring to my professional and personal life.

I genuinely love what I do, and I’m proud to make a difference every day.

With over 20 years of experience in kitchens and restaurants across the UK and France, I’ve developed a deep passion for creating delicious food inspired by a wide range of cultures. Cooking has always brought me great joy, but nothing is more rewarding than seeing our residents enjoy the meals we prepare here at Perdiswell Rose.

I believe food is not just about nourishment — it’s about comfort, connection, and memories. Working closely with our residents, we take the time to understand their preferences and favourite dishes, often recreating treasured recipes that evoke happy memories and a sense of home. It’s a true team effort, and I feel privileged to be part of it every day.

Job Title: Home Administrator Joined: 2025

My name is Lynda, and I am the Home Administrator for Perdiswell Rose.
I joined the Perdiswell Rose just as it was in the final completion stage of building, so it has been wonderful to see this lovely home open its doors to welcome our amazing residents.
I have worked in Home Administration for almost 4 years and thoroughly enjoy the various aspects of the role. Previously, my career was in Travel & Tourism, so I am relatively new to the Care Industry, but I have learnt so much during this time.
I feel both Industries require the highest standards of Customer Service, and I am certainly an advocate for this. I have such respect and admiration for our Staff Members in all Departments who demonstrate daily their skills and dedication, ensuring our residents receive the best attention and care and are always treated with such respect and kindness.
I consider it a privilege to be part of the team, using my skills to support our Residents, their Families, Management and staff to ensure the smooth running of the home.
