Mum has settled into Perdiswell Rose very well. Management, care staff, housekeeping, chef and reception staff are all excellent. Very high standards provided.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're delighted to hear that your mum has settled in so well at Perdiswell Rose. It means a great deal to our entire team - management, care, housekeeping, catering, and reception, to know their hard work is appreciated. Providing a warm, supportive...
My father moved into Perdiswell Rose, feeling very apprehensive about moving out of his home where he/d been living alone for several years. Within a very short space of time, he was feeling safe and extremely well cared for and quickly reassured us about how much he was enjoying living here. We couldnt have made a better choice for him.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We understand how difficult and emotional the transition into care can be, especially after living independently for many years, so it means a great deal to hear that your father settled in so quickly.
It's wonderful to know that he now feels safe,...
The care team there are so welcoming and treat both Mum & Dad as part of the family we couldn't wish for him to be in a better place. It has made such a huge difference to Mum's life now she is not trying to look after him at home, we are so grateful to everyone there as they really go the extra mile! In turn Dad has improved significantly.
Special thanks to Abi, Sandi, Kix, George & Shaun - there are plenty of others, but I don't remember the names. You are all amazing, thank you all so much!
We're so pleased that from your very first interaction you felt supported and reassured during what we know was a significant and emotional decision for your family, especially travelling from NZ to help your parents. Being able to welcome your dad so quickly and ensure a smooth transition was...
My husband went to Perdiswell Rose for two weeks respite. I needed a break from caring having fallen in garden and bruising ribs. I was exhausted. After initially feeling guilty for not being able to care for husband I was very pleased with the care he was receiving. The rooms are absolutely beautiful too. I cannot fault anything . So pleased i found Perdiswell Rose - from initial contact through to the two week respite stay the Staff were so friendly and caring. Wouldn't hesitate to have hubby booked in again. Thank you all!!
We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. It means a great deal to us to know that during what must have been a very challenging and exhausting time for you, we were able to provide both reassurance...
My mum stayed at Perdiswell Rose for respite care in December 2025, the rooms, facilities and staff were all fabulous. Everyone handled my mum with warmth and kindness and despite suffering a few periods of ill health requiring some hospital treatment she enjoyed her stay.

After moving mum from a different care home, we were worried about how she would settle in but all the staff at Perdiswell Rose have gone above and beyond to help reassure her and make it feel like home. The surroundings are beautiful but it's the staff that really make it special - nothing is too much trouble and always have a smile. Lovely atmosphere throughout.

Since my Mother in Law came in early December, i have been very impressed with Perdiswell Rose. Right from first contact with Abi, the clear emphasis has been on both Maureens (and the familys) well-being and health. The home is comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly and profesional and the care and compassion Maureen gets is heart warming. I feel that, best of all, I can see the effect it has on my wife, knowing her Mom is happy, safe and getting the care she deserves.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful and heartfelt review. We're really pleased to hear how positive your experience has been since Maureen joined us, and that Abi and the whole team helped make the transition a reassuring one for your family. Knowing that Maureen feels happy, safe, and cared for...
The building, the rooms and all of the facilities on offer are outstanding, it's like staying in a very high quality hotel.
What is even better than the quality of the rooms and facilities are the staff, they are simply the best! The staff are always happy, upbeat and friendly and most importantly they provide the best care that you could wish for. They look after your relatives as if they were their own.
There is always something going on at the care home to keep residents and visitors entertained, go and take a look at their social media page.
I highly recommend Perdiswell Rose.

As a resident who initially came for respite care I arrived reluctant to leave the home and independence of the life I knew and ready to be critical of this steep change. I arrivevd was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by name and was gradually introduced to staff who were in uniform with name tags. My personal belongings were taken to my well furnished warm bedroom and then I was taken to my first meal where I met the other residents. My experience here has transformed my life from one of a daily grind to become a permanent resident enjoying an active lifestyle with a varied selection of activities.
We truly appreciate your honesty about how challenging the transition initially felt, and we are delighted that your first impressions were a positive surprise....
From our first visit to my father-in-law now being a full-time resident the home has always felt friendly and professional. The staff to a person are all diligent and caring. There is a wide breadth of activities which will provide something for everyone and all those we have seen are very well attended. The home has more than met our expectations, which were high to start with thanks to Abi and the staff, and gives every impression of continuing this trend.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review of Perdiswell Rose. We are delighted to hear that from your first visit through to your father-in-law becoming a full-time resident, the home has consistently felt friendly and professional.

My husband settled in quickly, mostly due to the friendliness of the staff. I find that there is a very calm atmosphere, which helps a lot.

Our mother came to stay with you for a four week respite break over Christmas. She had previously had a most unsatisfactory stay at another care home and was not at all keen on coming to Perdiswell Rose. On the morning we collected her she was anxious and argumentative but her boiler had broken down and she was without heating or hot water so had little choice. We were initially worried about leaving her because we know that she can be difficult but the staff at PR were fabulous. They handled out mother really well, with kindness and understanding helping her to settle, caring for her and then drawing her into the community life. This is as physically and emotionally well as we have seen out mother in a long time. We are truly grateful for your treatment and warmth listening and responding. Mother has now returned to her home but is reporting that she feels lonely and bored after her experience with you. We are hopeful that she will decide to move to you permanently.
We understand how difficult it can be to entrust a loved one to a care home, particularly after a previous experience that was not positive. We're so pleased to hear that...
My dad came to Perdiswell Rose following a fall and initially stayed for respite. From the very beginning, the care, kindness and reassurance shown to him and to us as a family were outstanding. Knowing that he has Parkinson's, we were understandably anxious, but every member of staff treated him with dignity, patience and genuine warmth.
Since being there, his health and mobility have improved noticeably. The level of support, encouragement and consistency in his care has made such a positive difference to his confidence and wellbeing. He feels safe, settled and cared for, which means the world to us.
The experience has been so positive that my dad has now decided to stay permanently, which speaks volumes about how comfortable and happy he feels at Perdiswell Rose. As a family, we have complete peace of mind knowing he is in such capable and compassionate hands.
Thank you to th

I've been here 3 weeks one more to go. That will be 4 weeks in total. The home is only as good as it's staff! They are all first class

Overwhelmed by the kindness empathy and support on a professional and emotional level shown to resident and family. Facilities and quality services are first class second to none. I would never have believed that my mum would have so readily settled and adapted in a positive way to life in a care home. The Rose is more than just a care facility, and I do not hesitate in recommending The Perdiswell Rose to others. They really take a keen interest in each of their residents and making sure that their needs and wishes are catered for
It means a great deal to us to hear that you felt supported both professionally and emotionally, and that your mum has settled so positively into...
Having been at 2 previous homes had a recommendation from someone whose mom is now at Perdiswell Rose. Saying how impressed he is and how much his mom loves being there. I decided to enquire. The process from the call and mom moving in was effortless . I can honestly say I've never felt so happy and at ease with the transition for mom. All staff are caring towards both resident and family I feel it's like one big happy family. Everything from the care, accommodation, food and all round enjoyment of activities to join in or watch . I really feel now that when I'm not visiting mom I have no worries . Just one week on I saw mom happy and smiling when we walked in instead of head down and tears. Thank you so much all staff you really do make a difference
It means a great deal to our whole team to know that the move...
The constant provision of activities has provided her with a new purpose in life which has shown itself in a marked improvement in her general heath and wellbeing.
The whole combined team of management and staff have embraced her and she fells fully included in life within the family of Perdiswell Rose.

We viewed the home for both parents who were looking to relocate from another part of the country and were left with a very positive impression. During the subsequent planning and move their positive words were reinforced by the actions taken; from video calls, answering questions, and a welcome on arrival with many small actions that went above and beyond to make a difficult day so smooth. As they settle into life at Perdiswell, the attention to detail and care received continues in all aspects of their lives, and ours as extended family.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and positive review. We are delighted to hear that your initial impressions were reinforced throughout the planning and moving process, and that our team was able to help make what can be a challenging day feel smoother and more...
In my opinion Perdiswell Rose has raised the bar higher than most with a refreshing, special take on providing care and by inviting locals to join in the many events they provide for residents. Amazing!

I am a passionate and experienced Registered Home Manager, with a background as a Regional Director and Commissioning Home Manager.
Over 30 years, starting as a care assistant to a registered manager, I’ve led teams and services with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional, person-centred care. Caring comes naturally to me, and I believe in not only supporting residents within the home but also building strong community connections. I actively engage with local organisations, families, and support networks to create inclusive, enriching experiences for those we care for.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking, taking holidays to unwind, and spending quality time with my family and grandchildren, whom I adore. These moments recharge me and reflect the balance I strive to bring to my professional and personal life.
I genuinely love what I do, and I’m proud to make a difference every day.

As the Customer Relationship Manager at Perdiswell Rose, I’m passionate about building meaningful relationships with residents, their families, our staff, and the wider community. With a strong background in customer service and a deep understanding of the unique needs within elderly care, I aim to bring empathy, respect, and professionalism to every interaction. My role is all about connection — supporting smooth admissions, ensuring clear and compassionate communication between families and care teams, and championing the satisfaction and wellbeing of our residents. I’m dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming environment where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported throughout their journey with us.

My name is Lynda, and I am the Home Administrator for Perdiswell Rose.
I joined Perdiswell Rose just as it was in the final completion stage of building, so it has been wonderful to see this lovely home open its doors to welcome our amazing residents.
I have worked in Home Administration for almost 4 years and thoroughly enjoy the various aspects of the role. Previously, my career was in Travel & Tourism, so I am relatively new to the Care Industry, but I have learnt so much during this time.
I feel both Industries require the highest standards of Customer Service, and I am certainly an advocate for this. I have such respect and admiration for our Staff Members in all Departments who demonstrate daily their skills and dedication, ensuring our residents receive the best attention and care and are always treated with such respect and kindness.I consider it a privilege to be part of the team, using my skills to support our Residents, their Families, Management and staff to ensure the smooth running of the home.

I am a Clinical Lead with over 20 years of experience across nursing, leadership, and operational management in the UK and the Philippines. With a background in Medical Surgical Nursing, Geriatric Nursing, and Dementia care, I am passionate about delivering safe, person-centred care and leading with compassion, accountability, and integrity.
I work closely with residents, families, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams to maintain high standards, support continuous improvement, and create a care environment built on dignity, well-being, and trust.

I am an experienced Activities and Events Coordinator with a passion for delivering person-centred lifestyle and wellbeing support that enhances the quality of life of every resident. I am dedicated to creating meaningful, engaging experiences tailored to individual interests, abilities, and preferences.
I enjoy thinking outside the box and developing creative, unique, and enjoyable activities that bring people together, encourage participation, and create lasting memories. Whether organising themed events, wellbeing programmes, or spontaneous moments of fun, I strive to ensure every resident feels valued, included, and inspired to live life to the fullest.
