A very warm welcome to my mum + myself. Transferred from old care home with ease. The ambience of the home is warm and like being in a smart modern hotel. Staff are proactive and reacting to residents in a very professional manner. Food I have seen looks high quality. Drinks are made throughout the day for residents. Nursing staff have provided great care and actively treating a wound/pressure sore that had been neglected in previous care home.

Dad needed respite urgently and this home could accommodate him. From the minute I walked through the door I felt at ease and so did my mom . We was worried about costing and viewed other home we then transferred him for 3 weeks at another home at the end of it my mom had decided that Millfield was the best place for my dad. When I asked her about pros and cons this was her reply "better food, ensuite bathrooms, easier to get in and out ,more interaction from staff towards my dad, better bus connections (which means alot to a non driver). The only con was we couldn't always get outside in the garden and would have to trouble carers to open the doors and once out no general garden benches. Dad did have a couple of falls from falling to sleep bent foward in a arm chair. The staff are lovely and do feel more like friends and family and because of this and the decor I don't feel like I'm visiting dad in a care home I feel like I'm going to see him in a hotel.

Your comment about the home feeling more like a hotel than a care home really made us smile - that's exactly the feeling we hope to create!
We're also really pleased that you've noticed the little things that make a difference, from the food and en-suite facilities to the interaction with the staff and the bus connections. Thank you for your feedback about the garden too. We completely understand how important it is for residents and families to be able to enjoy the outdoor space. I have nothing but praise for Millfield Rose. All the staff give 100% care to all the residents. Their care goes beyond personal care and safety for residents with dementia. They have so much more to offer as well as this. Daily activities and entertainment are provided and all residents are encouraged to join in if able or just to watch and be part of the family the care home is. My aunt was more or less left to just exist in a previous care home and certainly looked like she had lost all her personality and her love for company had gone. Since moving to Millfield she has completely changed, she loves her new room, loves the staff and entertainment and nobody can stop her joining in and singing along to the music. The change in her face is remarkable and we are so grateful to all the staff for being so kind and supportive. Residents who have to have care more than others always have staff to support them emotionally or otherwise. Family and friends are always welcome. Thank you

My husband was admitted to Millfield Rose Care Home in June 26 After looking around several Care Homes in the area there simply was no comparison with Millfield Rose Brownhills. I wanted the best for my husband and I got it! It is beautifully modern, clean and welcoming with a hair dressing salon, cinema, craft room and activity Co-ordinator. All the staff are trained to a high standard and are so helpful in delivering a Service, which is rarely experienced these days, As a former Manager of Services for the Elderly, my expectations were high but I am pleased to say all aspects of care given promoted Dignity, Individuality,Respect, Empathic and Sensitive attention to all residents. Nothing is too much trouble in making relatives feel welcome as an integral part of the caring team and support for the resident. Congratulations to the chef for a healthy and varied Menu tailored to individual needs.

My dad was only here for a short while but from my first step through the door I felt welcomed and reassured. The staff have been incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely caring, always treating everyone with dignity and respect. It's obvious that they don't just see it as a job-they really take the time to get to know each resident and make them feel valued.
The home is like a five star hotel, always clean, comfortable, and it has a lovely, friendly atmosphere. Knowing my Dad was safe, and well cared for gave me real peace of mind. My sisters father is in this care home and the communion and conversations with the staff and my sister has been fantastic and has eased so much off her worry for her father. The staff are all wonderful in communication, quality off care, and training. The home it's self has everything a person would need for dignity, care, comfort, ease off a life as it has so many components to help with the type off wonderful luxury quality off end off care such as a cinema room, hairdressers which allows the service users/family under the the protection off care off the home to have things to do within the home and what is important for there end off life care. The decorations has a luxury and comfortable feeling as soon as you walk around. I haven't found a single thing I can say bad. I would personally live in the home because it's such a luxury type of care home. Amazing staff and support and eases the stress and worry I feel about my relative being in a care home. Thank you

My husband and I had a great experience. Our uncle has complex needs, but we were reassured from the start and felt completely confident that he would be well cared for. The team were very professional and informative, taking the time to answer all our questions and put us at ease.
The home itself is fantastic-beautifully set, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are of a hotel standard, offering both comfort and dignity.
We couldn't have wished for more when it comes to the comfort and wellbeing of a beloved relative.
The manager was both friendly and reassuring and we feel confident of the decision we have made to move our uncle here.

Well, where do I start? From the moment I walked in there I knew I needed to get my dad into Millfield Rose, it far exceeds any nursing home I have ever been to. My dad has complex nursing requirements and I was reassured from day 1. Karen the manager and her staff, Keeley in particular have gone above and beyond to help me secure a room for my dad. Their assistance, attention to detail and compassion is second to non, and we can now finally spend some quality time with dad knowing his is safe, looked after and cared for. Thank you Karen, Keeley, and everyone for being amazing.

Hello, I’m Rebecca, and I’m part of the Customer Relations team at Millfield Rose Care Home. I’m new to MACC Care, but after seeing the positive impact the home has on residents and the local community, I knew it was somewhere I wanted to be.
I have over 10 years of experience working in private healthcare, where I developed a strong understanding of how important it is to support people through what can be an emotional decision.
In my role, I build relationships with prospective residents, families and professionals, supporting enquiries, arranging visits and helping people feel confident in their choices. I also spend time in the local community, raising awareness of the home and the care we provide.
What I enjoy most is knowing I can make a real difference during an important time in people’s lives.
