Overall Experience

We honestly can't thank the team at Bilbrook Rose enough for the care and support they have given Nan since she moved in.
The beginning was a difficult adjustment for everyone and there were understandably a few teething problems while Nan and Grandad got used to such a big change. What has really stood out to us is how patient, kind and understanding the staff have been throughout it all. Nothing has ever felt like too much trouble, and we've always felt able to raise anything we were worried about and have it listened to properly.
A special mention has to go to Lizzie, Nanda and Precious, who have all been absolutely amazing with Nan and with us as a family. They are caring, reassuring and genuinely seem to want the best for her. Knowing Nan is somewhere where people understand her, look out for her and treat her with kindness has made such a difficult period much easier for all of us.

Elizabeth on reception also deserves a special mention. She is always so lovely and welcoming

Overall Experience

We are very happy with the care Dad recieves at Dora Rose. He has been there for 2 1/2 years and although there have been changes Dad has always been cared for very well. He is very settled and happy and we as a family feel his needs are met with dignity. Staff are very friendly and go the extra mile to make sure we are all happy. If only we had viewed Dora Rose first (we looked at 6 homes before Dora) it would have saved a lot of stress! Highly recomended.

Overall Experience

The process of making this very difficult decision was made easier by the caring and compassionate nature of the management team.
They were very understanding and really supportive in accommodating our family needs and wishes.
The transition was handled with amazing love and care which reassured us that Dad would be well cared for in his new environment.
All the staff are very attentive to Dads needs and nothing is ever too much for them. They are also very caring towards us as a family too, always making us feel welcome and involved. They feel very supported by the management team and are able to discuss any issues they may have.
We can definitely recommend Bilbrook Rose. The love, care and compassion from all the team is above and beyond what we expected.

Overall Experience

My grandad Graham, moved into Wyrley Rose on the nursing floor for the last few weeks of his life. During this time he was cared for with love, compassion and exceptional care! We could not of asked for any more if we tried. We were all able to spend his final days by his bedside, day and night and we was also treated just as well as grandad! A massive thank you to the all who contributed to his final weeks we will forever be grateful!

Dora Rose Care home is an amazing place, at the time I had never visited a care home, but my health was deteriorating and my friends were becoming concerned. They thought it would be a good idea to look at some homes. They found Dora Rose and an appointment was made to look around. We were shown around and all our questions were answered. I was apprehensive at first but my friends explained there would always be people around, which is what I had had all my life until the last few years. I agreed to 2 weeks respite care, and here I am 5 years later!! The care is fantastic, they treat you as if you were the only resident. Any health issues are dealt with immediately, the doctor attends every Wednesday.

My Mum is in respite for a month & is very settled. She says the food is excellent along with the staff. She is being well cared for. The communal areas are lovely & its nice to sit in the Bistro area & have coffee with her. Doesn't feel like a care home.

My mother has settled in well, the staff are easy to talk to if any problem arise. They also get my mother involved in activities and it's great to see my mother smile. When me and my brother first saw the place, they went through the process clearly and in a calm way. I fell confidant that my mother is being looked after and have no problem with the staff.

Very welcoming happy & clean establishment. Felt a little like a hotel & not a care home. My mum didn't use all the facilities but all were of an excellent standard. Family members were welcomed to visit day or night without any prior arrangements & access provided with a special key fob. Debbie ensured the entire ground floor was spotless & clean. Amanda was fabulous & quite clearly cared for every resident as if they were her own family we felt. Activities generally good & varied but sometimes subject to change at short notice which was disappointing. Food was good but very occasionally ran out of basics. Overall excellent & wish Mum would have stayed in such a great & safe environment for longer.

BIlbrook Rose is a lovely friendly place to be with so much to do. The facilities are exceptionally good. Cleanliness is brilliant.Food is very good. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. It is safe and secure. The place is exceptional and the rooms are a very good size with en suite. The garden area is well kept and seating outside and very comfortable chairs and tables with umbrellas so you don't get sunburnt. They have a full entertainment programme and have guest artist in the home. The cinema is very popular and so is the hair and beauty salon. Go and have a look around you be surprised how lovely it is. You can also follow them on social media to see what they get up to as recently they had Elvis and Shifnal Male Voice Choir to name a few. They also have a coffee Morning every

Monday 11.00 - 12.30 so pop in for a cuppa.

I couldn't be happier with the care my mom received during her 4-week respite stay at Bilbrook Rose care home.
My mom has dementia and the staff treated her with kindness, warmth, dignity and respect, while also keeping her laughing and engaged.
The staff also supported me as a family member, before, during and after mom's stay. They are a wonderful team of people and the home is a very special place to be.

I would whole heartedly recomend them.

Overall Experience

Was very unsure to put mom in home, however with much deliberation it was the best option for everyone. Wyrley Rose is the best you can get compared to other homes. Residents are treated with respect and encouraged to participate in activities. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The reception and rooms are more like a hotel than care home. Would highly recommend.
