I came in for Respite for two weeks as I am finding it difficult to cope on my own at home. The care and support I received from the staff was excellent. I was treated with the utmost care and dignity. Anything I wanted or needed at anytime I only had to ask. I was very happy with the environment in the home itself too.

Lovely well appointed building - top class hotel standard lots of space making access easy. All staff approachable & helpful. Activities looked interesting. Could do with a lodge where residents are able to converse with each other. Is that a residential lodge? Postive impression of place left with me.

I have had an exceptional experience with this care home. The care they provided was unparalleled. Being bipolar, my aunt had very complex needs, but the staff were unfailingly patient. She was fond of a lot of the staff members and called them her family. We were always well informed, and whenever we had any questions, we were always well looked after. I will always recommend this care home very highly to anyone who asks.

The activities available group sessions , the generous size of room and the efforts to create familiar surroundings family pictures etc , coffee lounge, gym and gardens to walk in. The variety of food , in my friends case Asian vegetarian meals. Tea and coffee upon request plus snacks in the kitchen. There is a gym room however, due to my friend's illness, this is not used by him. And one of the most important things with care homes cleanliness cannot fault it

My dad has been looked after so well, so cared for, made him feel like a family member. Especially what he'd been through with being in a car crash and losing his wife, and not being his fault. Everyone is amazing, looking after us as well. Thank you.

On my first visit to Watermead Rose I was very impressed with the warm welcome that I received from the management team, and I knew that it was going to be a suitable place for my partner who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Since he moved in twelve days ago he has settled in well, and I can't fault the treatment that he has been receiving.

Staff and nurses very professional and caring feel really cared for. It's like a 5 star hotel.

Over the last few months, I've been ill with a few problems, but when I have visited my mum in the care home, the staff have been very supportive towards me, asking how I am doing, and now that I am getting better, we can start going out again. Last week, my mum was 87 on Tuesday, 28th April, and I visited her on her birthday. The staff made her birthday feel really special with a cake and a present, and it was presented to her in the afternoon. Afterwards, we had Showaddywaddy playing and dancing. An excellent time was had by all, thank you.

My dad has been in the home since April, 2026, and I can honestly say that he is being looked after so well. If we have any questions or concerns, they all go out of their way to assist. Such a good home for someone's final days, and I can't thank the clinical manager enough for all she does for both my dad and me! After 3 weeks in hospital, we highly recommend the team at Watermead Rose. Thank you all!

The catering team Susan and staff make a special effort to connect with the residents each day. Her dietary needs are being constantly monitored and specialist soups/ drinks and food provided which are delicious. Thank you all for the exceptional care. We are so grateful Mum is being cared for by you all.

My father arrived at Watermead Rose from hospital in June 2025 on palliative care, with a prognosis of only 3 months to live. Today he is back home, and this is entirely due to the wonderful care and professionalism shown by the nurses, carers and management. We cannot thank all the staff enough for their kindness, dedication, and unwavering support. The facilities at Watermead Rose are exceptional, and there is always so much happening to engage and entertain the residents and their families. Nothing is ever too much trouble. I would wholeheartedly recommend Watermead Rose to any family in need of compassionate and high-quality care.

From the very first day my husband came to live in Watermead Rose Care Home, myself and my family just knew it was going to be his forever home. We felt so relieved and grateful for the support and love from the management and staff. We instantly felt part of the special Watermead Rose Family. My husband was only with you for a short six months when he sadly passed away. The love and respect we were shown by all the staff was exceptional and genuine. We can never put into words the thanks and gratitude we feel for what you all mean to us. We will never forget the Watermead Rose Family.

I've had a very happy experience at Watermead Rose. I have found everyone to be very pleasant and they've taken good care of me. I've enjoyed the home cooking, the good care from the carers and from everyone looking after us, including the cleaners. I've also enjoyed the whole range of activities.

From the initial contact with the home to mum moving in, I cannot fault the care and dedication they have shown to me and mum. The staff are very friendly and show genuine concern for mum. Cannot praise them enough.

Very impressed with the home and all the staff my husband is bed bound and recives devoted care there is always someone to see to his needs on top of this when I visit I am made very welcome as the home is lovely and relaxed. The running of the home overall is very impressive.

The staff are looking after her health and well-being in exemplary caring and patient fashion. We specifically wanted a care home with nursing provision, and the nursing team are proactive and keep us updated on her needs and the steps taken to meet them, including arranging visits from GPs, chiropodists and appointments at the on-site hairdressing salon. The food always looks delicious and there is a busy activities schedule.

Beautiful home, more like a hotel. Came to see my wife's aunty who is currently a resident at Watermead Rose. Very friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Very clean and welcoming with plenty to do, from a cinema to a cafe, would highly recommend.

My aunt is staying at the home on respite. It's wonderful to see her smiling and having her hair done by the hairstylist. The staff are wonderful and welcoming. I will be forever grateful. Thank you to the whole team for helping our family through this difficult time.
