My mum recently moved into Leighton Rose care home and our experience has been wonderful. The team here are so lovely and they make every resident and guest feel welcome. The team were so supportive through this difficult time. When we first viewed the home I was speechless with how incredible it is. Everybody we have seen has greeted us with a smile, even if just in passing. The facilities are immaculate and highly secure, you can tell that the team have thought of everything to make residents feel safe and make every day different and enjoyable. Everything from rooms, catering and activities is second to none. I am fully reassured that my mums care is in the best possible hands and I can't thank everyone at Leighton rose enough, you are all amazing.

Leighton Rose is not only the nicest care home I've ever seen but the staff have been the most lovely people to look after my mum. This is only the beginning of our journey with Leighton Rose as mum has only just moved in but I couldn't dream of a better place for her to live and be cared for. The facilities are incredible, so many nice features for us to have some family time with mum. Carey gave us a tour, answered all our queries and has made the entire process so easy for us and we can't thank her enough. The process moving her in was very quick but the staff were so lovely & welcoming as soon as we arrived which made a difficult day a lot easier for us. Her room is very clean, housekeeping took all of her clothes to label them and she really enjoyed the food on her first day. I am also impressed with the daily activities and menu. Overall I'm delighted with the service and care for mum so far and I'm sure she is going to live a very happy life at Leighton Rose.

Myself and my family have had nothing but amazing help and understanding from all the staff. They have been very attentive and helpful. After our visit to my mother today, she unfortunately passed away. The team called myself and my sister and explained what had happened and they were very respectful.

My mother in law stayed at Leighton Rose Care Home for the last couple of weeks of her life unfortunately she didn't get to use to many of the facilities but I must say what a lovely place the staff where fantastic so friendly and helpful food looked great place is so clean and welcoming once again I can't thank the staff enough they where so kind and helpful

The food menus are in the lift so you could see what was being served each day, and it all looked amazing. The staff are amazing and really friendly and accommodating, answering questions and keeping us totally informed about my mum. It's the best care home I have been to. Thank you all for looking after my mum.

The big problem was the food. Cooked breakfast, sausage and bacon plait, followed by Jam Roly-poly and Custard for lunch, and pork pie or white bread sandwiches at dinner. No thank you. On a couple of days we had breakfast again at dinner. The printed menu was inaccurate. I only had a couple of nice meals with a good amount of vegetable

After a successful 3 weeks at Leighton Rose last November, I was extremely disappointed at the level of care my husband received on his second stay. In November there were only 4 residents on the dementia floor; this time it was full. On several occasions I found him unshaven, in wet trousers or in pyjama bottoms because his laundry had not been returned. His lower legs and feet swelled up for the first time ever due, in my opinion, to lack of movement, even though I have been promised that mobility would be encouraged. I will not be entrusting his care to them again.

There was always a satisfactory choice of meals 3 times a day.

We have been contacted by our local authority safeguarding team and informed that they will be commencing a full enquiry under Section 42 of the Care Act 2014 into the circumstances surrounding my mother's care.

Leighton Rose Care Home is exceptional in every way while caring for my father in the nursing part of the home. From the very beginning, they have been extremely welcoming, and the staff truly go above and beyond for residents and families.

The facilities are outstanding, from the cinema room to the large, open and bright coffee area. Every member of staff takes the time to get to know what my father likes and dislikes, personalising both his care and his preferences.

A special mention must go to the management and administration team, who are outstanding. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail make such a difference. They even set up a room for a private family lunch, making it feel like a luxury hotel.

The care, warmth, and dedication shown by everyone at Leighton Rose are second to none. I can't recommend the home enough.

It is a beautiful home designed to a very high standard with lots of lovely areas to relax, socialise and integrate if needed. Staff were very attentive and responsive to the needs of others. Very open and inclusive, offering lots of activities if needed.

Following a fall, my mother needed respite care with nursing support while she recovered from a broken arm and foot. I called Leighton Rose and within two days they had assessed her in hospital and arranged her transfer. The speed and ease of the whole process took so much pressure off our family. The facilities are stunning - it feels like a luxury hotel with full medical care in the background. My mother had a room on the dedicated nursing floor, giving her 24/7 assistance, but she could still mix with other residents once she felt up to it. The staff were warm, professional, and attentive, and she settled in quickly. I would wholeheartedly recommend Leighton Rose.

Overall we see Leighton Rose as safe but could do much better with catering and staffing levels.

My father-in-law has been a resident of Leighton Rose for a little over a year now, and although I haven't been able to visit often from Spain, we FaceTime twice a week. After our last call, I mentioned to my wife what a difference I'd noticed in him: he's more cheerful, socialises more, and is getting involved in the home's activities with some enthusiasm. I assume that much of the positive change is due to the care and attention he receives from key staff members.

My Dad has been in Leighton Rose for just over a year now and although he was initially unsure about moving into a care home he has now settled in and happy. He has developed friendships and good relationships with the staff which has been lovely and has put our minds at rest. There has been quite a turnover of staff which doesn't help some residents I'm sure but hopefully this will settle down. The activities seem to be increasing, as the home is filling up, which is positive but I think Dad would like more organised excursions as we move into the warmer months. The catering always seems to be brought up, by all the residents I have spoken to, as an issue but I know this is being addressed. Overall pleased that Dad is settled and special thanks to Kelly who supported us during Dad's transition from own home to care home.

My husband was in hospital for a month and our daughter-in-law spoke with Kelly about arranging Respite for him. Kelly then guided us through the rest of the procedure. It was the best thing for my husband. He didn't have to think about anything, it was all done for him, he could just re-charge his batteries. His room was lovely plus as a step towards his independence he could use the wet room style shower in the spacious bathroom. It was lovely for him to socialise with his visitors in the lounge area and enjoy coffee/tea and a selection of cakes! All the facilities were first class as detailed in the brochure. All the staff were very pleasant, helpful and efficient. Thank you to the hairdresser who shaved off his month old beard! Special mention to Kelly for all her help in arranging his stay at very short notice and then extending his stay. Must also mention Sarah, Bonnie, Lisa and Barbara for their help. A very big thank you to Leighton Rose for helping my husband return home.
