Mom has been here for few weeks now. She came with high anxiety and unable to walk without assistance. She does seem somewhat calmer much of the time now her meds are taking some affect on her mental health. The staff are very friendly and helpful and supportive of mom. The home itself is spotlessly
clean, modern and rather homely for a Nursing Home.
Reply from Elizabeth Bradley, Customer Service Executive at Willow Rose Care HomeThank you for sharing your experience. We're very glad to hear that your mum is feeling calmer and that her medication is helping. It's wonderful to know that our staff have been friendly and supportive, and that you find the home clean, modern, welcoming and homely. My Dad moved into Willow Rose in December 2025. Right from the start Willow Rose ensured that they could support Dad's needs carrying out a full assessment of him before he was offered a place (no other care home we enquired with did this).

Dad was given the most wonderful care by the staff at

Willow Rose. Unfortunately due to illness he became very ill, Willow Rose supported us to keep dad within the setting where they provided exemplary end of life care. Dad was provided with care, respect and dignity throughout, until he passed. Additionally, the staff were so supportive to our family, ensuring that we could stay with Dad in his final days, feeding us, providing us with a place to rest when we needed to and just being a wonderful support.

During the time we spent at Willow Rose it was clear that they are a family, the care staff work extremely hard and treat the residents so kindly and with understanding and respect. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for care.

Reply from Elizabeth Bradley, Customer Service Executive at Willow Rose Care HomeThank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful and moving review. We are deeply sorry for the loss of your Dad and feel honoured that Willow Rose was able to support him and your family during such an important and emotional time.

It means a great deal to hear that the assessment process gave you confidence from the outset, and that our team was able to provide your Dad with care, dignity, and respect throughout his time with us, particularly during his final days. Supporting residents to remain in familiar surroundings and supporting families alongside them is something we care deeply about.

Your kind words about our staff and the sense of family within Willow Rose will be shared with the whole team - they work incredibly hard, and feedback like this truly matters to them.

Our doors are always open for you to join us for a cuppa.

Thank you again for your recommendation and for trusting us with your Dad's care. Our thoughts remain with you and your family.

From initial enquiry to my dad leaving Willow Rose the care has been wonderful. All staff have been excellent not only caring for my dad but giving us attention as a family - especially my mom as she was not well when dad went into Willow Rose. Every member of staff we came into contact with were always

Dad's returned to Willow Rose for a week's respite - his third stay this year. He is pleased with care, likes the carers, enjoys the meals and is very comfortable. I feel confident to go to work knowing that he's completely safe and well looked after.
I particularly appreciate the time taken to encourage
Dad to join in with the social activities. He's made friends already and has lots to talk about when I visit. He's loved the children visiting to sing Christmas carols today. He's staying on the ground floor this time and he's enjoying that he can sit in the lounge and just pop back to his room whenever he likes.

I wanted to take a moment to thank all the staff of the Heatherton Suite for the care and support that was provided to my mom during the last few days of her life. The staff treated her with dignity and respect which meant the world to us as a family. They took care of us as well during a very emotional
time. No amount of money can repay the kindness and compassion that was shown to us as a family in the short time she was with you. Thank you does not seem enough but it is meant wholeheartedly.

We were welcomed into Willow Rose and only stayed for 3 days, but we felt the warmth and care that the staff of Willow Rose shared. Staff were always polite, helpful, knocking before entering the rooms, and checking on residents every two hours. I also stayed overnight with my Mum, and the staff were
very accommodating. Making sure we had everything we needed. Throughout our stay, I noticed that residents were well cared for, clean and fed lovely meals. I would highly recommend Willow Rose.

Current Review Score: 9.8 (9.805)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.8 (9.805) out of 10 for Willow Rose Care Home is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 33 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 32 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Care Home is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.805 for Willow Rose Care Home is calculated as follows: ( (323 Excellents x 5) + (56 Goods x 4) + (10 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 389 Ratings = 4.805
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Willow Rose Care Home is based on 32 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the registered maximum number of service users in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Care Home registered for a maximum of 50 service users has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 73 registered maximum number of service users is 14.6, which has been reached with 32 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Care Home does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Customer Relations Executive Joined: 2025

Hello, my name is Elizabeth, though most people know me as Lizzie, and I’m the Customer Relations Executive here at Willow Rose. Part of my role is supporting and guiding residents, families, loved ones, and professionals who are looking for care and support. I also work closely with the local community to build strong connections, because Willow Rose isn’t just a care home—it’s an extended family, full of community, love, laughter, and friendships.

I’m passionate about helping people feel confident and reassured from their very first contact with us. I’m also naturally adventurous, always seeking new challenges and meaningful ways to make a difference. In May 2026, I’ll be taking part in a charity skydive to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society—an organisation very close to my heart, dedicated to supporting people on their memory-lane journey.

Building positive relationships and guiding people through their care journey is something I truly value, and I’m proud to bring that commitment to my role at Willow Rose. I love meeting new people and making sure everyone feels welcome, supported, and understood.
