Mum moved into Studley Rose Care Home on the 23rd January 2023, just over three years ago. Throughout her time there, the staff have been kind, considerate and very professional, often going far beyond what could reasonably be expected of them. In short, we could not have wished for a better place for
our mother to spend her final days. Our sincere thanks to everyone who has been involved in her care.

My father has recently moved into Studley Rose. From the very first contact we had with them, the staff have been welcoming, caring, warm and compassionate to help him settle in and enable all of us to make this huge transition within our family. Without exception every staff member has been patient,
kind, friendly and considerate . You feel listened to and my father is treated with dignity and respect and he says he feels safe. Nothing has been too much trouble in helping to meet his increasing medical needs so that he is well cared for and comfortable. When it was his birthday the staff decorated his room, bought him a gift and provided a birthday cake. It is the little things like this that make such a difference and have helped him to feel part of the resident community. If anyone is looking for care for a loved one, I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Studley Rose. They also have wonderful facilities with a very good range of activities for the residents.

We can't thank the staff enough for making sure mom was comfortable and in a safe environment before her passing, they made a world of difference to the whole family.

From the first contact with Carla, my mother's stay at Studley Rose has been amazing. Parent was resident for 3 1/2 years. The care provided always met their needs. The carers and staff tried very hard, under sometimes difficult situations, to provide the necessary care. Dignity was always provided along with the caring nature of the staff which ensured a peaceful and pleasant environment.

I have always felt that dad was being well cared for and that he was safe and comfortable at all times. When he was able he loved participating in the activities programme. The food was good and he particularly loved the puddings. We always struggled to get him to accept personal care but there were
one or two exceptional nurses that he came to trust. He has the best 3.5 years of care that we could get for him.

The caring staff team are kind to Carol and makes her feel welcome. Some days the staff team is a bit stretched/short-handed, which clearly impacts on care - such as response time when calling for help or running activities.
The friendly way the team work with Carol to help with meal times and getting
her involved in activities is much appreciated.

From the moment that we walked through the door of the Studley Rose; it has felt like home. The staff are so welcoming and show great compassion and professionalism towards all the residents. Visiting has been an enjoyable experience despite a difficult situation. The kindness and help shown by all

When someone is diagnosed with dementia it's a difficult time for everyone. Most especially for the person, but also their relatives and close friends. My friend of many years has recently made Studley Rose Care Home his permanent home. In such a difficult time, the staff have gone above and beyond
to help him settle in and feel comfortable and safe. They are attentive and caring and nothing is too much trouble. The food excellent and varied and the cake offered daily to residents and visitors in the lounge is delicious! Activities are varied and staff encourage residents to join in, resulting in a bright, cheerful and welcoming atmosphere. I can't recommend Studley Rose enough.

I have been extremely impressed with the warm, welcoming atmosphere and environment for my mum. It was a challenging transition for her to go into residential care, but the staff were so kind and patient. I am hugely relieved that she is now settled and is very happy with her new 'friends' and the care
she receives. I can't speak highly enough about the friendliness of the staff and how well we have all been treated.

My dad moved into Studley Rose Care Home in June 2025 and sadly had a stroke in September before passing away in early December. He was so well looked after by all the staff - carers and nurses both sets of which were brilliant and caring and also had lots of fun with him, but also all the other staff
from administration to catering, laundry and housekeeping to reception, management to hosting. Fantastic staff who really cared about him and tailored their approach to him and his personality as well as his needs. He had a great summer getting around independently, reading and talking in the various lounges and the garden - with help and encouragement always nearby - and even after his stroke had great banter and fun with the staff. We can't praise the team at Studley Rose highly enough and are so grateful to them for making his final months as good as they were.

From our very first meeting to taking Mum in for emergency respite after the passing of my dad, the team at Studley Rose have been exemplary. They answered every question and helped ease Mum through what was a very difficult transition, especially as she is living with dementia.


Since then, Mum has

moved floors and is now a permanent resident. She is definitely much more settled, and it's clear how well the team get on with all the residents. The home has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere.


I honestly can't fault Studley Rose at all - I'd happily move in myself.

My father John, had been at Studley Rose for nearly four years. When he came, he was very poorly and frail, but he thrived at Studly Rose and loved his room, and all the support he received from the staff was exceptional.
He passed away recently due to his Parkinson's, but the staff looked after him
and cared for him exceptionally. The home gave me and my father fun times together, and we could also take my collie, whom he loved. I will always have fond memories of Studley Rose.

We came to visit a friend, and really enjoyed the visit. Lovely, friendly staff. We can see she is well cared for. Was welcomed by staff and offered coffee and cake in the lounge area. Lovely clean facility. Great care home.

Faye Maycroft

Hi, my name is Faye and I am the Home Manager at Studley Rose Care Home.


I am a registered nurse, having qualified in 2009, I also had a brief couple of years as a qualified midwife but I decided that my passion remained in nursing and I have been specialising in older adults nursing for the last 12 years.


My career progressed from nurse in charge, through to deputy manager and then home manager, one of my biggest achievements was working as a team towards a CQC rating of outstanding and maintaining that outstanding rating.


I am very dedicated to my job role and will always strive for the best, enabling residents to live the best life they wish for.


In my spare time, I like gardening, I am a member of a running club and I am kept busy with family life.

Hi, I'm Donna and I am the Deputy Manager at Studley Rose.
I have been here since the home opened in August 2021.
I have worked in the care sector for 28 years originally training as a nurse.
I enjoy the friendship, supporting our wonderful residents and the diversity of the staff team.
We are one big family at Studley Rose.

Hi, I am Janet,
I am the Home Administrator at Studley Rose Care Home.


I have over 18 years of experience working within an office environment, and am fully qualified to level 5 in HR. Within the care industry, I have been working for a year. I joined Studley Rose in June 2025, and I am thoroughly enjoying the home and my role here. And it feels like I am very suited for the role here. I enjoy the care environment and getting to speak with a wide range of different people every day. After personal experience of a family member being in a care home, I have developed a passion and interest for the industry and looking forward to developing further here.

I have had a variety of roles, working in industry for 20 years and the care sector for 23 years. 11 years working with Learning Disabilities and 12 years in care for the elderly.
I love working at Studley Rose as it is such a warm and welcoming environment. Everyone is so friendly and relaxed.

I was a nurse for 10 years in the Phillippines and gained my PIN in the UK Dec 2021.
I love how friendly everyone is at Studley Rose and what a warm and loving environment it is.

Hello, my name is Millie and I'm a care assistant here at Studley Rose.


I have worked at Studley Rose for over a year now and I enjoy getting to know the residents and getting involved with the activities.


At school, I studied performing arts and from the age of 10 until 16, I took part in dance shows held at the NIA in Birmingham. We did freestyle, rock and roll and ballroom.
