Since my husband has moved into Studley Rose I have been really pleased with the care. My husband always looks very smart and taken care of. He is always included in activities and is always happy and smiling. Staff are always polite and communicate well, they tell us how my husband has been. He loves
his daily cooked breakfast. We can't thank you enough as a family.

Arrived in the home early February 2024. Was made to feel very welcome by all levels of staff.
Amenities are extensive and am able to participate or not, as I wish.
Food is very good and if anything is too much!

My parents moved into Studley Rose towards the end of November.
The home is beautifully presented, and the staff are friendly, attentive and very professional. Nothing is too much trouble.
My parents have both settled in really well, which is a credit to the staff's expertise and the level of care
given.

My mother became a resident mid-November and the care she receives is amazing. The staff are so friendly and it is lovely to see how Mum, who has dementia, is so settled happy and trusting of them. She is never left in her bedroom during the day and is taken to all activities where carers are always
encouraging and participating with the residents. Studley Rose is a wonderful care home that has an amazing care and compassion for both the residents and their families.

Since becoming a resident at Studley Rose, my mom has received the best of care, and any issues we have had have been quickly and courteously dealt with. My mom is not able to partake in some of the activities at Studley Rose, but I am there a lot of the time, and other residents are obviously very
happy there. I am very happy with my mother’s care. I am very pleased we placed her there. Lovely place, with lovely, friendly people - we are always welcome.

A welcoming home with a relaxed feeling. Really helpful care staff, office staff and receptionists. Always treat residents with kindness and dignity. Rooms are cleaned regularly, including bathrooms. Very happy with the standard of facilities and food. Overall, I would rate the home as good, with outstanding
features. Always room for improvement, and there is a suggestion box for families/residents to submit ideas.

We were worried before my dad moved in as he likes a lie in and not to be rushed. We are thrilled with how well my dad, even with his bad health, is enjoying living here. Everyone is wonderful with him and it already feels like his home and he raves about everyone who works there.

Dad has been a dementia sufferer for ten years and, as he slipped into the latter stages, the care required surpassed what we were able to provide at home. Having looked at numerous nursing homes, as a family, we struggled to find one that we would be happy with leaving our much loved Dad in. When we
walked into Studley Rose, we were pleasantly surprised as to how 'homely' it felt. The staff were really friendly and made us feel at ease. The decor, whilst being modern and clean, provided warmth and the range of activities was impressive. Dad has been there for over four months now and they care for him like he is their own relative. He is smartly dressed, shaven, brought into activities (even though he can't participate) and is treated with dignity. Our family have been treated amazingly and are always made to feel welcome, even when we have two dogs and two children. I wouldn't choose for Dad to live away from home, but I wouldn't want him anywhere other than Studley Rose.

What can I say! This home is amazing. It’s beautiful. Lovely atmosphere. Kind caring staff, from top to the bottom. No problem too small. They are a wonderful blessing. And the whole family just breathes a sigh of relief, knowing that our mom is so well looked after. When she first came to the home,
she was seriously depressed, but within days of being there she became her old self; happy and confident. Basically we got our mom back. The home is clean, the food is amazing. All round wouldn’t hesitate to have your loved ones in this nursing home.

Our mum has recently had a seamless transition from a nearby residential home. Her needs were assessed really quickly along with the arrangements for the move. All the staff and nurses have been extremely friendly and welcoming to both Mum and us as a family. Mum has frontal lobe dementia and gets
quite anxious and the care given by the nurses is amazing. I love how those residents who are not mobile have a chair and are supported to join in. Mum has a lovely room and she is able to continue to enjoy watching her TV. Thank you to all.

The manager and the team couldn’t have been more helpful. A rather stressful change was made utterly seamless - I couldn’t recommend higher. Immaculately clean with lots of inclusive extras like spa and aromatherapy baths, it had the feel of a high-star hotel.

My 82-year-old father has been at Studley Rose Care Home for just over a year now. He has dementia and managed to live alone with support until 2022, when the doctors helped the family to decide it was time he needed more care.
He has his own huge room upstairs, plenty of room around the hospital-style
bed, and we added a raise/tilt chair and a small fridge. He has a large en-suite with a walk-in shower, rails for support, etc.
He can walk around that floor on his own; there are several other rooms, including a cafe, TV room and "pretend" bar.
Previously at his own home, he was staying in bed all day, which hasn't changed much over the last year, but now he has a huge TV at the end of his bed and a bed that tilts up to be much more comfortable. We can visit at any time, and after signing in, can go straight up on the lift, but all accesses/exits have a key code, which my father doesn't know! So he can only get around on the second floor without a carer.
He seems to love it here!

Great home. The staff are very attentive, wonderful home. The nurses were great. The chicks were cute too. Got to meet a very, very cute dog. Had a wonderful welcome. A very clean home - had all the information we needed.

Studley Rose Care Home has consistently gone above and beyond to care for our 100-year-old grandmother. We cannot praise the management and all staff enough for their care, attention to detail, inclusion and transparency. For the more active residents, there is always something going on to keep them
entertained and spirits lifted. For those residents with more complex needs, the personalised care is diligent, 24/7 and thoughtful. Not many establishments would hold my nan's hand throughout the night to comfort her or throw a great party to celebrate her birthday. Studley Rose Care Home strives to make the residents feel completely at home and fully loved and cared for, they are achieving this, and we are eternally grateful. In a difficult climate, this home is leading the way.

My first time in a care home. I found it to be very welcoming. The staff are very caring and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with nothing too much trouble. My medication was administered on time by the nursing staff.
The food is very good, and I really enjoyed the full English breakfasts.
My room was comfortable and mostly well-equipped (there were no mirrors or soap dishes available in the bathroom, an additional grabrail would have been useful for the shower). It's like being in a nursing hotel.

I am extremely impressed with the facilities and level of care being made available to my mother by the staff here at Studley Rose Care Home. I feel they are offering and providing her with everything she requires to ease her pain and still help her maintain the level of dignity that she deserves. Her
room is extremely well equipped to help her with every need, and the staff try to integrate her with daily interactions that help to stimulate her mind. Thank you.

Faye

Faye Maycroft

Hi, my name is Faye and I am the Home Manager at Studley Rose Care Home.


I am a registered nurse, having qualified in 2009, I also had a brief couple of years as a qualified midwife but I decided that my passion remained in nursing and I have been specialising in older adults nursing for the last 12 years.


My career progressed from nurse in charge, through to deputy manager and then home manager, one of my biggest achievements was working as a team towards a CQC rating of outstanding and maintaining that outstanding rating.


I am very dedicated to my job role and will always strive for the best, enabling residents to live the best life they wish for.


In my spare time, I like gardening, I am a member of a running club and I am kept busy with family life.

Donna Wakelam

Hi, I'm Donna and I am the Deputy Manager at Studley Rose.
I have been here since the home opened in August 2021.
I have worked in the care sector for 28 years originally training as a nurse.
I enjoy the friendship, supporting our wonderful residents and the diversity of the staff team.
We are one big family at Studley Rose.

Janet

Janet Herbert - Fowler

Hi, I am Janet,
I am the Home Administrator at Studley Rose Care Home.


I have over 18 years of experience working within an office environment, and am fully qualified to level 5 in HR. Within the care industry, I have been working for a year. I joined Studley Rose in June 2025, and I am thoroughly enjoying the home and my role here. And it feels like I am very suited for the role here. I enjoy the care environment and getting to speak with a wide range of different people every day. After personal experience of a family member being in a care home, I have developed a passion and interest for the industry and looking forward to developing further here.

Jayne Forman

Hi, my name is Jayne and I am the receptionist at Studley Rose.
I have had a variety of roles, working in industry for 20 years and the care sector for 23 years. 11 years working with Learning Disabilities and 12 years in care for the elderly.
I love working at Studley Rose as it is such a warm and welcoming environment. Everyone is so friendly and relaxed.

Rosemarie

Rosemarie Truscott

Job Title: Receptionist Joined: 2023

I am grateful that I got the chance to work for this company.


I enjoy my role of meeting and greeting visitors who come to the reception and I love to be involved in helping them with their queries. My experience from previous employment within the NHS guides me along nicely in sometimes challenging situations to which I am very confident dealing with and if I’m unable to help I message my managers.


I also enjoy being part of a team, I feel it helps me grow professionally and my goal is learning more about the care home.

Hi, I'm Paulo and I am a Registered Nurse at Studley Rose.
I was a nurse for 10 years in the Phillippines and gained my PIN in the UK Dec 2021.
I love how friendly everyone is at Studley Rose and what a warm and loving environment it is.
What is important to me is that our residents are safe and appreciated. If they are happy then I am happy.

Jane Ellison

Job Title: Housekeeper Joined: 2021

Hi, I'm Jane and I am the housekeeper at Studley Rose.
I have been in post since the home opened in 2021.
I have worked in the care sector for 29 years and was previously a carer in a residential home.
Studley is a really special home and I love chatting with residents as I go about my housekeeping duties.
I enjoy learning about our residents lives and really enjoy involving residents in daily tasks such as folding laundry and dusting.

I have worked in the health and social care sector for over 14 years, including being a nurse back home.


I really enjoy my role here at Studley Rose as a senior care assistant as I get to make a real difference in the lives of those who live with us.

Millie Louise

Millie Louise Masefield

Job Title: Care Assistant Joined: 2023

Hello, my name is Millie and I'm a care assistant here at Studley Rose.


I have worked at Studley Rose for over a year now and I enjoy getting to know the residents and getting involved with the activities.


At school, I studied performing arts and from the age of 10 until 16, I took part in dance shows held at the NIA in Birmingham. We did freestyle, rock and roll and ballroom.
