Studley Rose Care Home

Studley Rose care home is absolutely remarkable and that's down to every member of staff.

Thank you to everyone at the home, it is so good to know Mum is safe and cared for to such a high standard.

My sister has been a resident of Studley Rose for about three months. I could not be more impressed with the level of attention and care that she is receiving. She has brightened, quite noticeably, from when she was living alone. I attribute that, to a great degree to the variety of engaging activities that make her days so much less boring than just sitting at home watching television. Both the staff and the other residents seemed to embrace her from day one. Almost immediately, she developed a sense of belonging. I live all the way over in America and my way of connecting with my sister is via video chat. She has trouble, at times, dealing with how to make the connection and open up her video camera. The staff has proven always ready to get with her and help us get connected and that has meant the world to me in keeping in touch with my Sis.

Upon arrival, we were impressed by the friendly and warm welcome from the staff. The room was spacious and comfortable. My husband has been a resident of Studley Rose for one week and has been so well looked after.

I highly recommend Studley Rose Care Home. My father went to the care home in June and the transition from the hospital to the care home was organised brilliantly by the care home. Great communication, updated me on how my father was settling in. The staff give my father excellent care and after such a worrying time of him having to go to a care home, I have no more worries as the care is excellent. It's been a great reassurance to the family, especially my mother who was anxious about putting my father into a care home for health reasons.

Studley Rose provides great care for my mum. The staff care for residents and truly connect with families, keeping you informed and involved. Residents benefit from a diverse calendar of activities, ensuring there's something for everyone. In the first months mum has enjoyed games and musical performances while staying at Studley. Studley Rose keeps residents engaged and spirits high. The facilities are very clean, providing peace of mind, knowing your loved ones are in a safe and comfortable place.

Our uncle was a resident of Studley Rose for a short time before sadly passing away. While he was at Studley Rose he was treated with kindness, caring and compassion as he had not long lost his wife before becoming very unwell himself. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff at Studley Rose, we were all instantly welcomed and made to feel at home. We couldn't recommend this care home enough with what they have to offer and the great members of staff! We are sad that our uncle is no longer at Studley Rose but they have asked us to keep in touch and said we are always welcome whenever we want to come back! We could not have met more genuine people!

The thing that really makes Studley Rose stand out though is the manager and the team. Friendly, caring, patient, empathetic, nothing is too much trouble.

A five-star home. Staff - welcoming, professional, caring and smiling. Management - well-led, organised and listening. House - modern, clean and odour-free. Facilities - lots of parking, big rooms, wide corridors, hairdressing and entertainment. Food - good choices, personally tailored menus, fresh and well-cooked. Activities - inclusive, varied and good choice. But above all staff engage!

Since my husband has moved into Studley Rose I have been really pleased with the care. My husband always looks very smart and taken care of. He is always included in activities and is always happy and smiling. Staff are always polite and communicate well, they tell us how my husband has been. He loves his daily cooked breakfast. We can't thank you enough as a family.

Food is very good and if anything is too much!

A faultless experience and the standard of care from all staff was excellent. A lovely care home which was comfortable, spotless and very welcoming. We would have no hesitation in recommending to our friends and family.

My parents have both settled in really well, which is a credit to the staff's expertise and the level of care given.

All the staff at Studley Rose Care Home are very friendly and helpful to both myself and my father.

My mother became a resident mid-November and the care she receives is amazing. The staff are so friendly and it is lovely to see how Mum, who has dementia, is so settled happy and trusting of them. She is never left in her bedroom during the day and is taken to all activities where carers are always encouraging and participating with the residents. Studley Rose is a wonderful care home that has an amazing care and compassion for both the residents and their families.

Since becoming a resident at Studley Rose, my mom has received the best of care, and any issues we have had have been quickly and courteously dealt with. My mom is not able to partake in some of the activities at Studley Rose, but I am there a lot of the time, and other residents are obviously very happy there. I am very happy with my mother’s care. I am very pleased we placed her there. Lovely place, with lovely, friendly people - we are always welcome.

A welcoming home with a relaxed feeling. Really helpful care staff, office staff and receptionists. Always treat residents with kindness and dignity. Rooms are cleaned regularly, including bathrooms. Very happy with the standard of facilities and food. Overall, I would rate the home as good, with outstanding features. Always room for improvement, and there is a suggestion box for families/residents to submit ideas.

We were worried before my dad moved in as he likes a lie in and not to be rushed. We are thrilled with how well my dad, even with his bad health, is enjoying living here. Everyone is wonderful with him and it already feels like his home and he raves about everyone who works there.

Dad has been a dementia sufferer for ten years and, as he slipped into the latter stages, the care required surpassed what we were able to provide at home. Having looked at numerous nursing homes, as a family, we struggled to find one that we would be happy with leaving our much loved Dad in. When we walked into Studley Rose, we were pleasantly surprised as to how 'homely' it felt. The staff were really friendly and made us feel at ease. The decor, whilst being modern and clean, provided warmth and the range of activities was impressive. Dad has been there for over four months now and they care for him like he is their own relative. He is smartly dressed, shaven, brought into activities (even though he can't participate) and is treated with dignity. Our family have been treated amazingly and are always made to feel welcome, even when we have two dogs and two children. I wouldn't choose for Dad to live away from home, but I wouldn't want him anywhere other than Studley Rose.

What can I say! This home is amazing. It’s beautiful. Lovely atmosphere. Kind caring staff, from top to the bottom. No problem too small. They are a wonderful blessing. And the whole family just breathes a sigh of relief, knowing that our mom is so well looked after. When she first came to the home, she was seriously depressed, but within days of being there she became her old self; happy and confident. Basically we got our mom back. The home is clean, the food is amazing. All round wouldn’t hesitate to have your loved ones in this nursing home.
