Studley Rose Care Home

Thank you so much Studley Rose Care Home for making my mom feel welcome in her new home. She looks better than she has looked for a long time due to staff taking time while helping her with meals and keeping her looking clean and well dressed.

Our mum has recently had a seamless transition from a nearby residential home. Her needs were assessed really quickly along with the arrangements for the move. All the staff and nurses have been extremely friendly and welcoming to both Mum and us as a family. Mum has frontal lobe dementia and gets quite anxious and the care given by the nurses is amazing. I love how those residents who are not mobile have a chair and are supported to join in. Mum has a lovely room and she is able to continue to enjoy watching her TV. Thank you to all.

The manager and the team couldn’t have been more helpful. A rather stressful change was made utterly seamless - I couldn’t recommend higher. Immaculately clean with lots of inclusive extras like spa and aromatherapy baths, it had the feel of a high-star hotel.

Great home. The staff are very attentive, wonderful home. The nurses were great. The chicks were cute too. Got to meet a very, very cute dog. Had a wonderful welcome. A very clean home - had all the information we needed.

Studley Rose Care Home has consistently gone above and beyond to care for our 100-year-old grandmother. We cannot praise the management and all staff enough for their care, attention to detail, inclusion and transparency. For the more active residents, there is always something going on to keep them entertained and spirits lifted. For those residents with more complex needs, the personalised care is diligent, 24/7 and thoughtful. Not many establishments would hold my nan's hand throughout the night to comfort her or throw a great party to celebrate her birthday. Studley Rose Care Home strives to make the residents feel completely at home and fully loved and cared for, they are achieving this, and we are eternally grateful. In a difficult climate, this home is leading the way.

The food is very good, and I really enjoyed the full English breakfasts. My room was comfortable and mostly well-equipped (there were no mirrors or soap dishes available in the bathroom, an additional grabrail would have been useful for the shower). It's like being in a nursing hotel.

I am extremely impressed with the facilities and level of care being made available to my mother by the staff here at Studley Rose Care Home. I feel they are offering and providing her with everything she requires to ease her pain and still help her maintain the level of dignity that she deserves. Her room is extremely well equipped to help her with every need, and the staff try to integrate her with daily interactions that help to stimulate her mind. Thank you.

My mother-in-law moved into the nursing home at the end of February 2023. The staff are lovely, always willing to help and support her, caring for all her needs. The home is beautiful and clean, with friendly staff waiting to greet you with a smile.

Just want to thank everyone at Studley Rose. My mum came here in January after having a fall and has dementia. You are all amazing; the care you give my mum is brilliant; such a lovely place. When it was Mum's birthday, they put balloons and banners up. Mum has settled so well. Thank you all so much.

Studley Rose is an absolutely wonderful place in so many ways. The staff are key to this and feel like extended family. They are kind, caring and helpful and made a significant contribution to caring for my father, prior to his passing after a very short period of time at Studley Rose. As a relatively new resident, my mother is still finding her way, which makes it all the more important that she makes a happy transition to her new home, and the staff are there and are doing just that. There are many different beautiful spaces where residents can relax with visitors who are always made welcome. There are kitchens where you can help yourself to tea, coffee and biscuits - just like home. They provide an extremely comfortable, caring and safe environment and one, where, we, as a family, are happy to have our mother living.

Studley Rose provides a safe, caring and clean environment with friendly staff who always appear to do their best to support the residents and visitors. The resident's rooms are good, although bland standards. A variety of different small and large communal rooms helps make the stay more interesting. In general, my mother appears to be well cared for, and when there was a medical emergency, it was very well managed. I would like to see a bit more structure to the care plan and feedback to the family. There have been some changes in staff which may have affected continuity, and I believe the current team are fully committed to improving this aspect. Social activities for the residents appear to be enjoyable, with special attention on birthdays, Christmas etc. There has also been an effort to allocate some useful tasks, and if maintained, this should give a greater sense of purpose and engagement to the residents. So, overall good, and keep up these improvements - five stars next time.

My brother was looked after in a comfortable, caring environment by extremely professional and committed staff. Both the nursing team and support staff went out of their way to make sure all his needs were met. Nothing was too much trouble. They also made sure his family were supported at a very difficult time emotionally.

The staff were amazing. The Christmas dinner was of a very good standard, and the staff were very helpful, as always.

My mother-in-law was taken to Studley Rose in November 2021. We have found this home to be amazing in all of her needs. It is so bright and cheerful, the rooms are beautiful and have everything to make her life easier. She has enjoyed all the activities and entertainment, which were arranged over the Christmas time. We are so happy she is so well looked after by the wonderful staff.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care my mother is receiving at Studley Rose Care Home. The home is like a 5-star hotel in a very quiet location, surrounded by landscaped gardens, ample parking, beautiful bedrooms, immaculate throughout, fantastic food, a hair and nail salon, a cinema, and activities, and residents are treated with the utmost respect. My mother has Lewy Body Dementia, hence needs full-time care with everyday tasks and also having to be fed. From the manager to all the staff, they are amazing with the care I see them give not to just my Mother but all residents. My mother was 84 yesterday, and she had a brilliant Birthday - thank you to all the fantastic staff! If you are looking for a care home for a loved one, I highly recommend Studley Rose Care Home.

The care given to my dad was excellent. The home was superb in all respects. The staff were impeccable. They were caring, professional and just really nice. I couldn't recommend highly enough.

Mother has been in the home for 3/4 months. Her stay here has been marvellous. She loves it so much; she praises everyone. My mum never wanted to go in a home, but at 97, we thought this was the best option for her, and we were right. Everyone is so friendly. When I get older, I would love to live here.

A brand new care home, so my mother is one of the first residents. She has found it difficult to settle, having come from her own flat, but all the staff have been wonderful to her, going out of their way to make her feel a valued member of this little community. New residents are moving in all the time, so Mum is able to find more people to spend time with, and more activities are being developed. Mum’s walking has improved as there are good paths in the flat garden and a variety of different socialising rooms in the building. All the staff are happy to spend time with Mum and have made a point of getting to know her well. Any queries I have had have been dealt with promptly and openly, with Mum’s best interest as key. An excellent care home!
