The home is thoughtfully divided into seven unique communities, each with its own dining areas, lounges, and accessible bathrooms, creating a warm, intimate, and personalised living experience.

Gwyneth is the Commissioning Home Manager at Kingfisher House, bringing with her over 30 years of nursing expertise and extensive leadership experience as a Care Home Manager. Throughout her career, Gwyneth has championed a person-centred approach, ensuring that each resident is treated with the utmost dignity and respect.


Starting her professional journey as a frontline nurse, Gwyneth has gained in-depth knowledge across elderly, dementia, nursing, and palliative care. She is proud to offer these high standards of care to the local community in Perth.

I've been a Nurse for over 35years, predominantly working within the NHS, actually starting my career in Hillside hospital, the site that Kingfisher Care Home now stands. My interest has always been care of the elderly, dementia, either at home within the community or hospital. I have extensive experience within Tayside's palliative care services. My ethos is always to deliver care as I would expect for my family. I look forward to providing excellent nursing standards and working alongside my colleagues.
