Overall Experience

My mum moved into Greenways's in April 2026. The home had just recently opened and we were delighted how homely it felt. It is always clean and fresh. There is a lovely , easily accessible secure garden area at the rear of the building. This garden is well used and even has a covered area so it can be used when it's raining. The staff are very kind and welcoming and the management very approachable . This is Mum's 5 th month living here, and the staff that started when the home opened are still here which is indicates to me it is a happy place to work. It also means they have got to know my mum and know what she likes to do , eat and drink without being prompted by any of my family. They are all loving and kind to her and that gives us 100% confidence that mum is well looked after. The activities are well chosen and take into consideration the resident's needs and ability. The food is top class with lots of variety.

I moved my mum from another care home to Greenways 4 months ago. It is a lovely environment.
Staff are so caring and attentive, and work very well as a team to keep mum safe and well looked after.

Mum is fairly feisty at 95, however, she settled in very easily, and as a family we are very appreciative of all staff at Greenways

Overall Experience

My 86 year old mother enjoyed two weeks respite care at Greenways. The staff were warm and caring and the ambience was equally pleasant and comfortable. Mother had a very positive experience and I felt confident that she was being looked after well. We fully intend to apply for another period of respite care in due course.

Overall Experience

My mum loves Greenways. Since moving in, she has been treated with the utmost care, kindness and dignity. My father passed away not long after mum arrived, and the staff at Greenways have been exceptional in their compassion, doing everything possible to help her feel safe, secure and cared for during a very difficult time. Greenways take a genuinely person-centred approach. Staff clearly know residents as individuals and support them in a way that help maintain independence and confidence. Mum quickly made friends with other residents and especially appreciates the kindness of staff taking her to get her daily newspaper - a small thing perhaps, but something important to her that helps maintain her sense of routine, independence and connection with the outside world. While mum isn't up for every activity, she enjoys the cinema and has even done yoga - not bad for 93! I find the staff welcoming, friendly and cheerful. They all know me by name and genuinely seem to care. I would recommend Greenways Care Home without hesitation.
