Meet the Team (1)

Wendy has over 40 years of experience in the care sector, including a long career with the NHS, where she worked across a range of wards, primarily supporting older people. She spent the final 12 years of her NHS career in trauma care, gaining invaluable experience in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
For the past 18 years, Wendy has worked as a Registered Manager, specialising in transforming care homes into warm, vibrant communities where residents receive outstanding, compassionate care. She is passionate about creating cultures built on kindness, quality, and respect, while supporting and developing staff to become the next generation of care leaders.
Outside of work, Wendy enjoys spending time with her three children and four granddaughters, travelling with her partner, socialising with friends, and attending music concerts and the theatre. Her much-loved PAT (Pets As Therapy) dog, RubyLou, brought comfort and smiles to many residents over the years and now enjoys a well-earned retirement.
