The Grand Cedars Nursing Home

The staff at the care home are all very pleasant and very caring. They are always there to help and do things when Dad needs anything. If there's a problem, the staff are always there to sort things out. I will say the care home is very friendly.

The staff are pleasant and welcome you with a friendly smile. They are very helpful with any questions you have. The meals are on time and he gets checked regularly.

Our experience of The Grand Cedars Nursing Home since it changed to a nursing home is excellent. The decor is wonderful, lounges and dining rooms are spotlessly clean and so are the bedrooms and the approach areas to the bedrooms. The staff are friendly and helpful and they look after and care for residents very very well. Management is first class. Treats us with respect, and organises everything that goes on in the home perfectly. When we enter the home we just get that feel-good factor (Management just great).

I am satisfied with the care and all you and the staff do. The staff are always pleasant. It's just that some of dads clothes have gone missing. I think dad gets all the care and support he needs. Thank you all for everything you do for him.

My mother who is 89, has dementia a pacemaker and is profoundly deaf stayed for a respite break. She was well cared for, well fed and when I collected her the staff all said goodbye and told me how much they had enjoyed her stay. I was touched by the caring and compassionate nature of the staff. When I rang they advised me of additional medication needed gave me updates and allowed me to have a much needed break. The Manager was supportive and understanding and I cannot thank her enough for all her care and attention to detail. I would highly recommend this Care Home.
