My father stayed at Ashcroft for 6 months until he passed away in June.
During his stay he was treated with the best care and support I could have wished for. It has a real family feel.
He was encouraged to engage in activities most days. The food was top-class.
I was included in decisions made for
him and the whole staff team also cared for me. I can't thank everyone enough for giving Dad fantastic care and dignity in his last days.

Mum has multiple medical problems and the staff and management at Ashcroft have worked hard to put into place just what Mum needs. They have been willing to learn from our experiences of caring for Mum prior to entering the home and they keep us informed, always having time to chat whether there are
concerns or not.
Not only that, they have helped us through our emotional transition and continually put our minds at rest.
The staff care for us when we visit and it really is a 'new home' for Mum. It is always a friendly atmosphere.
Renovations are underway and every consideration is being made to care for the residents during this time of change.
On our first visit to Ashcroft, we knew it was the place for Mum and we are continually reminded of that decision every day. Can't thank the staff enough for all their hard work and the standard of gentle care for Mum.

Fantastic service from the beginning to the end.
The staff was so considerate and caring throughout the whole process.

Dad moved to Ashcroft in Sept 2023 after a year of lengthy hospital stays. He is in the later stages of dementia. He is now thriving. From day 1 staff have been outstanding. He is always clean, shaven and appropriately dressed. He takes his meds in a timely manner, moves regularly and joins other residents
in the communal lounge & social events (he has a photo diary charting all the events he takes part in &a helps him to recall them & talk to us about them). His meals are hearty and nutritious. His en-suite room is modern and furnished with everything Dad needs to live life safely. All staff without exception are proactive, kind and compassionate. They make it a very positive experience for all of Dad's visitors too, particularly Mum, a detail that cannot be underestimated. Dad tells me the best things about Ashcroft are the staff and the fact that they have an in-house pub just a few doors down from his room! Outstanding establishment & we are truly grateful. We visit Mum regularly.
Room is always tidy, and she had a drink of juice to hand.
Very impressed with the laundry service.
Staff are always very friendly and helpful.
All in all, we are happy with the care Mum is getting.

My mum moved to Ashcroft a week ago. Very upsetting for us both as we never thought it would come to this. However, what fantastic, caring staff who go above and beyond. Nothing is too much trouble (and I know they must think, oh it's not her again). They have never made me feel I am being a nuisance
and I already know they love her, as I do. This is not a job to these people, it really is a vocation. I have looked after Mum 24/7 for the last four years now I can relax and enjoy my life knowing she is safe.

My mum moved to Ashcroft Care Home in Dec 21 on a palliative care plan, she rallied and settled in quite nicely to Ashcroft. The staff were always very good with her (she was not mobile) and she said she was well looked after when I asked her. Mum wasn't a social person and they never pushed her to
join in but respected her wish to mainly stay in her room. Sadly mum relapsed in July this year and passed away peacefully in August. I was so worried about her going into a care home but I have to say both my brother and I were very happy with her treatment. Thank you to all the staff.

Our mum came to live at Ashcroft in March 2022. She has been treated with the greatest care and respect by all of the lovely staff. We couldn't ask for more, and on the 2nd of June, Mum and her family were treated to a fabulous Jubille party generously put on by the staff. Great food and entertainment
were enjoyed by all. Well done to all involved.

I used to work in the NHS looking after the elderly, mentally ill and this home is so different to where I've had connections to before. It's so good I've asked if I can book my room for when I may need it. It has a totally different feel to any other place I have been in.
