Dad's last year was made so much better living at Ashcroft, he was cared for beautifully and always with kindness and love. The staff were respectful towards him, he was always up, dressed, cleanly shaven and spoken to with respect. The meals were tasty and adapted to his tastes. The atmosphere at Ashcroft always felt like his home. Everything was offered with kindness. In his last few weeks he received care that was of the highest standard and as a family we will be forever grateful. The support they gave to us won't ever be forgotten. Thankyou always xx

It means a great deal to hear how supported both your dad and mum felt during their time with us at Ashcroft. We know how difficult...
When my Father went into hospital the staff were there supporting Dad and us as a family and when he passed away in hospital the staff were there again. They are so thoughtful and took our feelings into account at all times.
They also made every effort to be at Dads funeral which for us was very special and Dad would have loved that.
So thankyou to all the staff at Ashcroft you are very special people who we will always remember.
I could not be happier with the support and care that Ashcroft give to my Dad. He is really happy and settled there and the staff are excellent and really care for his needs. This gives wonderful peace of mind for our family. We cannot speak highly enough of Ashcroft.

My wife was at Ashcroft for two months until passing away du to her illness. From the minute she was admitted the reception staff were so friendly & polite reassuring and any questions were answered swiftly. The staff on the floor were fabulous and when asked for help or assistance they dealt wtih it swiftly and politely and used discretion all the time. Nothing was a problem and they always encouraged us to just ask for aid no matter what. They always offered me drinks & food as well as feeding my wife and got to have the most friendliest cleaner ever - nothing was a problem and she always went out of her way to help. A big thank you to the all.

Everyone speaks to you & makes you feel welcome. We felt part of a big family & we were able to relax, knowing Dad was receiving the best care possible when we weren't there.
Dad was always clean & comfortable & if he wasn't(due to his condition),the carers/nurses rectified this immediately when aware. Dad particularly enjoyed the food which looked well balanced & nutritious.
We are so grateful for the care & patience all the staff have shown our Dad over the last 12 weeks. We can't fault the service received & would have no hesitation in recommending Ashcroft to anyone needing nursing care. Our needs were fully met &,in our opinion they go the extra mile.
Thank you so much for making a difficult period more bearable due to the care & attention all the Ashcroft staff have shown our family & our dear Dad.

Staff are fabulous, caring and so patient with not only my friend but all the residents within the home, my friend is cared for in such an amazing manner! All her personal hygiene is fantastic! They have a hairdresser come in so that's always kept on top of. The activity lady is always doing their nails in the sensory/nail bar For a period of relaxation, she offers a wide range of activities always keeping them busy if it's trips out, painting, armchair travel, pet therapy she's always busy with them and they are always happy. They have entertainment once a week, someone different every time keeping the residents entertained. The food is amazing the two cooks go out of their way to make outstanding dinners! Pudding is always my friend's favourite. Domestic is always doing a great job! No job is too big for them! Her room is always clean and smells lovely. Management is always happy to help if we ever have a problem. Overall if I could give this care home any stars it would 10! They deserve it!
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a wonderful review. We truly appreciate your feedback.
From the moment I first stepped into the home until the day my dad passed away, I felt confident that I could trust everyone to care for my dad the way we had. My dad said that he felt safe and well there and "the girls" were so kind to him, talking to him as if they had known him for a while. Also listening to him even when his words held no meaning for them. Nothing was too much trouble and if he wanted to stay in bed, he could live his life as he wanted it. Thank you to everyone. You are all amazing and we want you all to appreciate how amazing you are.
Thank you so much for your kind review. We truly appreciate your feedback.
The food that the lovely cook provides is beautiful and healthy.
And where to start on the activities that are provided - 10/10!
Launderette, a pub that includes quizzes etc, trips out, pet therapy and many more activities. The staff go above and beyond to make the residents feel comfortable just as they should when it's now their home.
Thank you to all the team at Ashcroft Sutton in Ashfield you are all amazing.
Thank you so much for leaving us such a wonderful review. We appreciate your feedback.
The staff at the care home were always good-tempered, polite and genuinely cared for my father as a person as well as a resident. He was always clean, dressed and well-fed. The entertainment to keep the resident's minds occupied was well thought out and planned.
Thank you for your kind review. We appreciate your feedback.
I can't praise this lovely care home enough. The care, love and attention my husband received was exemplary, not only to him but to me also. We were made to feel like one of the family and treated with love and respect as were all the other residents and families. The end-of-life care was so special with each member of the team taking turns to sit with him day and night and they never left him alone until he passed. Excellent!
Thank you Janice for writing such a lovely review of Ashcroft. We are ever so grateful for the comments.
No concerns. My sister is very well looked after. The staff are very caring. The home is lovely and clean.
Thank you for your lovely review. We appreciate your feedback.
I find all the staff very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. I find the staff to be more like a family than being workers as they communicate and talk to both residents and myself as if they have known us for years. Always have a smile on their faces and it's pleasant to visit. Everyone always says hello, staff like to find some background of my dad so they can have a chat with him, this makes my dad's days more like a family visit rather than a resident.
Thank you Robert for such a wonderful review. It is our pleasure to look after your dad. We are so happy that you continue to enjoy your visits to our home. Many thanks.
