Melba Lodge Ltd is based in the Royal Borough of Greenwich and well-located for assisting adults with mental health needs to improve on residents' Activities of Daily Living and in a more fulfilling daily lifestyle.

The aim is to support service users to make the most of local amenities and activities, developing their self-esteem and personal confidence and ultimately moving on to less supported accommodation in the future. Above all, to achieve goals of more independent style of living.

The home is family oriented and friendly. Care is delivered in a clean, comfortable and homely atmosphere.

The Vision is to enhance the quality of life of residents.
The Purpose is to deliver quality care and support.
One of the Values is kindness to residents, families, partners and colleagues. The Team strive to support residents to live an ordinary life as far as possible. The staff work as a Team to deliver the goals of residents. Above all, residents are given choice.

Homes are staffed by experienced carers, with Sky TV, internet, computer and a large garden where vegetables and herbs are grown.

Residents are encouraged and supported to attend all health check appointments and improve well-being. A Chiropodist visits the Home regularly to attend to residents.

The Home is activity focused. Residents have been taken on holidays around the coastal areas of Essex, Sussex and Surrey. Residents celebrate birthdays depending on the choice of the resident. Some opt for party in-house where family and friends are invited. They are given a birthday cake and a present. Some residents opt for a pub lunch, others opt for the cinema or bowling. Residents attend various activities in the community including coffee mornings, singing and dancing, attending college to participate in ceramic classes.

The care hear is okay and I am going to like it hear because the facilities are okay and ther care and support is good so I am treated with dighity the food and drink are okay the management are good I am celebrating Christmas this year.

I enjoy living at Melba Lodge. The staff are very friendly and the food is nice. I like the freedom here and the outings every Friday.

The owner is very nice, very easy to speak to, very caring. My service user goes to Melba Lodge for respite breaks, she enjoys her stay very much, she always used to go to another home for respite but since she has been to Melba Lodge she always looks forward to her next visit. She is looked after very
well and my service user is very demanding, and needs a lot of attention. She gets all of this at Malba Lodge.
