My 96 year old mother was admitted to Amberley on the 28th August for palliative care. She died two weeks later on the 10th September having received exceptional care, love, support and attention from every member of staff that came into contact with her. I just can't put into words the depth of gratitude and appreciation we have for what we witnessed and experienced. From the moment mum arrived to the moment she left we knew it was a blessing from God to have her looked after in a Christian setting where the love of Jesus was outwardly displayed in every act of service. The home is exceptionally clean, well run and the staff are genuinely happy, helpful and kind to all residents. All family and friends that visited were equally impressed and surprised at the very high standards of care witnessed. Amberley is one of a kind, second to none. Thank you Tsitsi and all your staff for going above and beyond with dignity, kindness and respect.

A truly exceptional care home, Amberly Care Home, Sale. I cannot thank the team enough for the care, compassion and dignity they gave my Nana during her final two weeks. Everyone, from reception and nurses to care staff and management, was kind, professional and genuinely caring. They respected her Christian faith and supported her spiritually, personally and medically. They also supported our family, giving us time and space to sit with her, pray, talk and be together. The home is clean, welcoming and beautifully maintained, with excellent facilities and activities. I was also impressed by the patience and respect shown to residents living with dementia. We have had an awful experience getting back the deposit and fees paid in advance following the passing of my dad. Care Concern Group should be ashamed of themselves. Communication was not responded to by head office, so it took a formal complaint and quoting the Consumer Marketing Authority advice to Care Homes to get our money back. They hide behind the residents agreement you sign prior to moving in, but this seems to be at odds to the CMA document. So please question this if you are thinking of a place for your loved one. This experience has been very stressful at a time when you are grieving.

Deposits that have still to be refunded some 9 months later.The home hides behind apathy and a 60-90 day refund policy, which seems only to be begun once you make a complaint. It's important that prospective residents and their families are aware of this practice as it amounts to considerable sums being held of residents money, that is taking a great deal of effort to get repaid, so please be aware.

Mum thought she had visited a top class hotel as did we it was so perfect. The staff welcomed us all like family and we loved visiting and seeing Mum thrive under their care, love and attention. My father moved to Amberley Care Home in February 2026. He has a lovely ground floor room with en-suite wet room and outside patio area. All staff have been excellent to date. The reception staff and managers are extremely welcoming and informative, putting residents and visitors at ease. Nurses are well qualified and readily on hand to assist with individual needs. The home is clean and has a hotel feel, thanks to the housekeeping team. The carers are attentive and kind. There is a lovely hairdresser, who is available a few days a week in the onsite salon. She is also good at men's barbering, which is perfect. There are two activities coordinators and friendly maintenance men, who have helped with making my father's room more homely. It's difficult to make the move to a care home but the Amberley team recognise this and have tried to ensure a smooth transition.

The manager has consistently been positive, interested, and genuinely welcoming. Everything I've requested for my mum - whether dietary adjustments, toileting support or aspects of her palliative care - has been listened to and acted upon. The nurses are easy to communicate with, and any concerns are dealt with promptly.
