Absolutely fantastic service! My grandma stayed here for 7 years and the care she received was amazing. Really kind and caring staff who supported her throughout her stay. The staff and management do a fantastic job looking after residents and keeping family and loved ones up to date with care. Always had something to do for the residents and the place was kept very well with up to date photo's and activities and even a memory book that was given to us at the end.

I honestly would highly recommend Beech house and I am so grateful for the level of care and support that my grandma, myself and the rest of the family received.

Thank you to the unit manager and her Beech House Team .
My Mum was a resident in Beech House ,Shawside for 13 years .She suffered from dementia and gradually lost her mobility however she found an extended family within Beech House who cared diligently for our Mum .
Any issues were promptly dealt with and our Mums personal likes for music and puddings were well known and catered for .
Beech House was our Mums home for the last 13 years of her life and in her last week I found the care and attention she received overwhelming.
I look back on the partnership of care and realise that we had to trust in the unit manager and the high standards she set . Her team delivered a safe ,joyful environment giving our Mum the freedom to express herself especially in song !

As our relationship has finally drawn to a close I will always hold the Beech House team in a special place in my heart .

Dad has been here a couple of years now & all continues to be good. Staff are mainly good & pleasant and helpful apart from when occasionally agency staff are used due to staff shortages and they may not know dad's character. Overall good.

I would 100% recommend Beech House at Shawside Care Home. My mum in law has been a resident for 2 years and she has been really well looked after and always seemed happy and content and appreciates the connections she has made with the staff. They are very invested in the wellbeing and happiness of the residents and keep a close eye on them. We have always felt she is safe in their care. The Manager is really efficient and always keeps us updated if there is anything to discuss or share with us. Tilly is a joy and asset to Beech House and we have really appreciated her kind and gentle manner. All of the staff work hard and are constantly on the go meeting the residents needs.

Since arriving at ShawSide my wife settled in quite quickly. She is content and calm. Her quality of life has improved and the care and attention from all members of staff have been one of the main reasons, she seems happy with her surroundings. I was told by two sets of neighbours who in the past had been residents of ShawSide that my wife would be content and feel safe and this has been the case. The staff give their all in looking after the residents. Thank you.
