The staff was very much liked and highly thought of by my late father in law. I personally witnessed caring and good practice while visiting him. Care provided was tailored around dads likes and needs, and friendly approach made him feel cared for in more than just meeting his needs bases. Staffs dedication
to deliver high quality care was evident in all aspects, including personal care he received, meals, hygiene in environment and his mental and emotional interactions with staff. Rakewood is well managed and run, and as a family, we will recommend Rakewood for those in end of life.

My dad has dementia and was in hospital & we needed to find a new care home for my Dad. It was a very stressful time, but as soon as I got in contact with both the deputy and the manager, they were so reassuring that they would look after Dad and meet his needs. All the staff have been so kind and can't
do enough for him, and the fact he has settled in so well is testament to them. I couldn't be happier with the home, It's spotless and is full of love for the residents. Would highly recommend Abbotsbury.

The first thing I noticed about Arden Court was that it was a happy place. There was always a lovely atmosphere and the staff were always bright and smiley and brought laughter to the place. The kitchen prepared fresh healthy food, for every meal, together with extra supplements throughout the day when
the tea trolly came around.
All the staff knew my mum and her requirements and the management team spoke very knowledgeably about her specifics each time I spoke to them. So not in a generic way that described the symptoms of her illness but how these presented in my mum.
There was always a busy day of varying activities and regular updates on the Cluster app which was a fantastic way of keeping up to date. The staff also worked really hard to prepare regular larger celebrations with music and food so that family members could attend creating an inclusive party atmosphere.

What a fantastic place Laburnum House is. My mother has been a resident there for almost 4 weeks and I cannot believe how quickly she has settled in (she is not the most co-operative person !!!). This is solely down to the manager and staff who are absolutely amazing. When myself and my husband
first went to view Laburnum House we were told that "it was a family" and my goodness they were right. The whole place is immaculate, the food given is first class and everybody is treated with respect Nothing is too much trouble and I was astonished to be treated like family myself. I had many sleepless nights worrying about where my mother might go after she could no longer look after herself. I am now so reassured knowing that she is safely being cared for and enjoying her twilight years. I really didn't realise that places like Laburnum House existed. Well done Edelyn and all the staff.

My mum Maureen, was a resident at Arden Court for three years and just recently passed away. During that time, her care and treatment has been amazing, and I have never had any issues with Alina and her team. I would most certainly recommend Arden Court to anybody.

My mother has been a resident at the home for five-years. The staff are friendly, attentive to my mother's needs and professional. There is also consistency with limited turnover of staff, which is unusual in this sector.


The home's manager arranges social events and entertainment for the residents

and their families. My mother recently celebrated her birthday and the staff decorated her room, sent cards and provided balloons and a birthday cake. They then gathered to sing 'Happy Birthday'. This extra effort is greatly appreciated by me and the family.


A well led and well run care home.

I would just like to applaud Rowan Garth for the wonderful transformation, I just can't believe the difference in this wonderful home in just a few short months all the staff seem happy and content with the new Manager and things seem to be improving rapidly, credit were credits due, you Rowan Garth
have made a wonderful choice I feel like everybody I see and speak to seem a lot happier with all the improvements that have very clearly been made.

Went today to visit my neighbour who has recently been given a placement. She looks really well, clean and tidy. She told me that she "loves it" where she is. The manager and staff all very friendly and couldn't do enough. My neighbours husband is so happy that she is settled and well cared for. Excellent
home.

I have visited Laburnum House many times over the last 8 years. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and take excellent care of the residents. I cannot think of any reason why I would not give this home an excellent review.

My mum has been a resident within Beech House for over 2 years. The care staff are amazing. Mum is very well looked after. Her needs are taken into account and she receives 24/7 support. I am kept informed of any changes, any medical requirements and also receive follow-up calls from medical staff,
when required. All the staff within the unit are friendly and attentive to all their residents. Events are celebrated within the unit, i.e., Chinese New Year, Easter, Xmas and the communal room decorated, encouraging all to be involved. Selection of activities could maybe be increased. But overall I believe Beech House to be a lovely place to be looked after.

In April, I visited a friend at Acacia Court, she is now a resident there. I was greeted warmly by a member of staff and took me to see my friend, soon after I was offered tea and biscuits when the residents had their afternoon cuppa. All the residents seemed happy and content, having good interaction
with the staff, who all had a sense of humour and amazing dialogue with each person. I experienced laughter and fun, this seems to be the very essence of the home. Great staff and manager. Would recommend.
