Minu is the Home Manager of Linden House Care Home. She moved to UK in 2011 after she passed the qualifying exams for NMC and got her PIN in 2012 after successfully passing the Overseas Nurses Programme with City University London.
She has worked her way up in the role, starting as a care assistant while studying at the University. She then worked as a senior care assistant, and once she gained her PIN, worked in the role of Nurse, Sister, Clinical Lead Nurse and Unit Manager in 2015 in a Dementia unit. Minu has also gained her NVQ level 5 in Leadership and Management 2021. She has also done the Palliative Passport with Springhill Hospice.
Although Minu is a Registered General Nurse, her passion is to work with individuals living with Dementia. Minu emphasises Person Centred Approach as she is a great believer in the uniqueness of individuals- ‘Every individual is a unique existence of this world’.
