Overall Experience
My Mum was placed in Linden June 2026 after a really bad experience in another care home. Mum barely communicates and needs consistent care. I was anxious her going into another home but all the staff at Linden are amazing with her and others, plenty of activities going on and she is always included and we have seen a big improvement in her emotions.

Clean throughout and cheery atmosphere.

We are delighted to hear that your mum has settled so well at Linden and that our team has helped restore your confidence. It's wonderful to know she is enjoying the activities, feels included, and that you've noticed such a positive improvement in her wellbeing. Thank you for trusting us with your mum's care.

Mums previous care home was no longer meeting her needs so we moved her to Linden House approximately 2 months ago. I thought the move might unsettle her or have a detrimental effect on her health but quite the opposite has happened. The staff are outstanding and their nursing care and expertise has made a huge difference to mums day to day life. There is always some activity or other going on or some nice music playing and each and every one of the staff really seem to 'care' about the residents, they are friendly and helpful whenever we visit and the home is always very clean. Overall it just 'feels right' and I have absolutely no doubt that we made the best decision in moving Mum to Linden House.

My mothers care at this nursing home has been excellent. All the staff and carers here are fantastic, always happy to help and are friendly.
I genuinely have no concerns with my mothers welfare and care here, which says a lot as we want the best for our mother.

The atmosphere at the nursing home is calm and welcoming. I also appreciate how they facilitate in allowing me to assist with feeing my mother. Lastly I love how they have a nice garden, which is great for when the suns out. Thank you for all your had work and care.

I am very happy with the care mum is receiving. It shows in the way mum is. Saberina is amazing with mum, she knows her inside and out. Knows her needs and mum always seems to be relaxed and calm in her presence. So I have no worries. And fanta has explained the care plan to me and how it works. So I feel better now I have seen it.

I would like to to express my thanks to the whole team at Linden House. For their care, compassion and understanding with my mother-in-law. No matter what time we came to visit they were always polite and helpful. If we had a question or an observation the staff would help or get someone that could help. From manager, admin, cleaner, carers and nurses you all do a remarkable job. Thank you x

It has not been an easy decision to move Mum into the care of others. When viewing the home it was important that it was a warm safe environment with staff that could give her the right care and meet her needs due to advanced Alzheimer's and complex needs. From day one of moving Mum into Linden House we have been impressed with the warmth, calm relaxed approach and kindness that all staff have shown not just to my mum but all residents. I can honestly say Linden House work as an excellent team. They communicate well with Mum, getting to know her personally about her life, taking the time to listen to her has enabled staff to understand her wishes likes/dislikes etc. which has resulted in her being happy and more contented. There are always plenty of activities throughout the day to keep Mum occupied should she wish to join in. Staff work hard to encourage and support residents to attend activities on offer. It is the staff that makes a nursing home good and Linden House has that.

I am pleased to confidently say that the care given by all of the team at Linden is actually quite exceptional. From Management, Nursing, Carer's Housekeeping, Catering and maintenance the unit is well run with an ethos of trying to continuously improve and make life for residents safe and enriched. Our loved one has some quite specific additional challenges so it's wonderful that the team always ensure he is enabled to be included in activities specific to his interests and preferences. The team is always on the lookout for any issues, very quick to react and great at keeping us informed and included. It's a comfort to know he is well looked after and cared about as an individual. Thank you.

My dad resides at Linden House Nursing Home, a placement that was decided by social services. I knew nothing about Linden House, but I am pleased to say that my dad receives excellent care and attention. The staff are kind and understanding, treating my dad with respect and keeping me informed of changes, appointments etc. I am very pleased with his placement and the care he receives even though he is not the easiest resident to look after.
