Sadly in April my dad declined more and was made palliative i can honestly say we couldn't of asked for anymore from the staff they truly where amazing infact absolute Angels . We stayed with Dad for 8 days before he passed and we where looked after just as much as he was this was lovely , during the hardest days all staff Kitchen, laundry , maintenance , activities no matter what job if we seen them they always tried to make it more bearable which we will never forget , If we were ever in that position again again I would 100 % choose Rowan Garth
It means so much to know that your dad was treated with dignity, kindness and compassion throughout his time with us, and that we were able to support both him and your family during such a difficult period. My mum has been a resident within Beech House for over 2 years. The care staff are amazing. Mum is very well looked after. Her needs are taken into account and she receives 24/7 support. I am kept informed of any changes, any medical requirements and also receive follow-up calls from medical staff, when required. All the staff within the unit are friendly and attentive to all their residents. Events are celebrated within the unit, i.e., Chinese New Year, Easter, Xmas and the communal room decorated, encouraging all to be involved. Selection of activities could maybe be increased. But overall I believe Beech House to be a lovely place to be looked after.

After qualifying, I gained experience across post-operative care, palliative care, Accident & Emergency, and elderly care. My passion for supporting older people led me into the private care sector in the North West, where I progressed from Clinical Lead Nurse to Registered Home Manager.
