When my mother-in-law came here from hospital on 31st Jan 2025, she was very poorly, with delirium, hypothermia, and she'd had a terrible UTI. This wonderful care home, Brook Lodge, has saved her life. She was so ill, weak and unresponsive to anything. We feared for her. The care, help, and commitment
shown to all the residents here are simply quite amazing. My mother-in-law is the picture of health, up walking, talking, eating and enjoying life again. The home is so efficient, clean, and friendly, with excellent amenities. My mother-in-law is now going to live here permanently. For the excellent care given to her.

The care and dedication the staff at Brook Lodge give to each resident is priceless. Everyone that goes through the entrance is made welcome. It is like home from home for a lot residents and they seem happy and comfortable.
Cannot fault the care that was given to my relation whilst they were there.

My mother became a resident of Brook Lodge in February 2024 and it will be a year next month. We chose the care home as we were very impressed with the facilities and appearance of the home. We were particularly impressed with the management and all the care givers. They made a real fuss of Mum and
made her feel special. Nothing was too much trouble. This is as true today, as then.
It was a momentous event in Mum leaving her home and going into care and both Mum and ourselves were supported during this time. Visitors are made to feel welcome and can always contact the home if there are any concerns or just for an update.
We like that the cost of the home is an inclusive cost that includes things such as weekly hairdressing, entertainment etc.
As a family, we cannot rate Brook Lodge, highly enough and would encourage prospective residents and their families to look at the home as you won't be disappointed.

My husband was there for two weeks respite. The place is superb, it really is a 'home from home', The staff all seemed very happy working there and the residents all seemed happy and relaxed. The staff spoke to the residents with dignity. I liked the little touches i.e. clean tablecloths at each meal
time and how everyone was given a meal choice.
All the staff were kind, friendly, caring people who should be proud that they do the job so well.
I'd have no worries should my husband have to spend his days there. Thank you to you all.

We are currently using Brook Lodge for day stays and respite, to be able to slowly introduce the home to our family member with dementia.
The staff are very upbeat and caring.
Nothing is too much trouble for them.
They are helping our family member to settle in comfortably and safely.

My father initially came to the home on July 31st for a period of respite. He lived in his house on his own with care packages in place. From day one, he enjoyed the care and company of the home.
I have been very pleased with the care and service my dad has received The staff I have encountered have
been very caring and eager to help. There have been numerous occasions when I have reached out for help and information, all have been forthcoming.

Very friendly, helpful staff assisted with anything that I asked. The lodge feels clean, comfortable, luxurious and more like a place you would go on holiday. Residents look very well looked after. Would definitely recommend.

Really surprised on arrival at the quality of the home and the facilities on arrival. It has done nothing but improve since I have been here.

Brook Lodge is comfortably furnished with decorations tasteful and welcoming. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
The rooms are excellent and the dining areas look equal to a first-class restaurant.
Brook Lodge has a pleasant and calming atmosphere brought about by its staff.

Our mother-in-law has been here a few months now and she is so settled. On each visit, the staff are very welcoming and you can see the good rapport they have with the residents. There is always a craft activity happening as we are proudly shown the results. Even on St Patrick's Day they dressed up.

My mother has moved to this home recently after having a terrible experience with another care home locally. With late-stage Alzheimer's, we have been impressed with the support we have received from staff with settling my mother. The home is clean, spacious, inviting, and reasonably priced (for residential
care) and the management has provided excellent support around self-funding options. Food is good and care is person-led. Engagement activities are developing as occupancy rises but staff do spend a good amount of time with residents to keep them engaged.

Our mother took up residence at Brook Lodge in January. The staff are amazing and extremely helpful. The room is lovely, while a varied menu is available with the food prepared to a high standard. Highly recommended.

We were shown around and given lunch (preparing for Dad to go into the home - very distressing for us all).
All the staff - the chef, manager, maintenance, carers, admin - absolutely everyone, were completely amazing!
Dad was welcomed and so was Mum, my brother and I. We were given lunch, cakes, and
drinks and made to feel like part of the family. Dad was made to feel at ease and was treated with such dignity and respect. An incredible home with a wonderful family feel. Not to mention the incredible facilities!
